I highly recommend a very easy Beetroot and garlic pasta sauce recipe with only 4 ingredients.
Silken tofu
3 chopped cloves of garlic
Pack of precooked beetroot (not pickled)
Spoonful of oil
Blend and pour over pasta 👌
Wow, I bet the colour is fab on that too
@@ThoseHappyDays oh yes! You're looking at a vibrant sauce 🤩
@@livewithliv6948 we like any sort of pink food 8
I wasn't a silken tofu fan until I watched this video so when I try it I know who to blame if I develop a silken tofu addiction 😜
Pleasure mate haha! It's a good, budget ingredient that we love. We hope everyone gives the Japanese meal a go as its super delicious
Ok I am new. I am contemplating a massive lifestyle change. In the food area. So this is great to see an English vlog
Will definitely be trying the creamy mushroom pasta!
pasta sauce looked so good. I'm trying this! - also an idea for you to try if you haven't yet: melt some chocolate and mash the tofu, mix it together and put in the fridge. Basically chocolate pudding :)
The pasta sauce hack!!! I have a jar of alfredo just sitting on the counter. I never use it because it always needs to be tweaked, but following this recipe and adding it to the jarred sauce would be perfect.
Had a day off sick today & fell into your Asian travels series and binge watching your vids! 👏🏼 I love using Silken Tofu for sauces as well, Mapo Tofu, Chocolate Silken Pie, Sichuan Style Tofu, Salt & Pepper Tofu & my all time favourite Agedashi Tofu!
I want to try the mushroom pasta recipe!!
Every thing looks delicious! But our favorite is the dessert you made with it it looks amazing 😋 awesome work, keep it up ❣️
Thanks for watching guys
Amazing recipes
Gonna try them all. I have 2 blocks of silken tofu. Thanks for sharing.
Love the pasta and dessert 😋 Going to try them both
Let us know how you get on
I mash soft tofu into waffle dough - yum!
Also, tofu mashed with cooked potatoes, rosemary, salt, nooch and tapioca starch makes lovely patties (if I'm feeling lazy I pop them in the waffle maker for extra crispiness). Just make sure the dough is dry - like "you could shape a ball and hold it in your hand" -kind of dry 😂
All of them look good and The first is my fav. I love tofu like that.
I liked the mushroom pasta recipe. And I will give it a try. Thank you.
Thank u! I'm making cheesecake with silen tofu and its so good
I just made mapo tofu with silken tofu yesterday! Love the stuff, I think I'll give the mushroom pasta a try.
Works a charm for white sauce with high protein, we love it. And the Mapo Tofu sounds wonderful 😋
Ooo I was scared silken wouldnt work for mabo nice
Looks Delish!
Miam i’ll try that ❤️❤️❤️thank you 🤗
They look easy peasy. Thanks
Great video! Thank you, these recipes look delicious 💚🌱🌼
Jamie's tofu chocolate pot and tofu chestnut, leek and mushroom pie.
Just made the mushroom pasta! I didn't have thyme so used oregano (after googling what I could sub). I found the need for a bit of extra zing in the sauce (but not sure what), and I'm not too sure I like the nutritional yeast with it. I'll have to try another bowl to be sure! Still a great recipe for silken tofu so thank you!!
Pickle the topping. Yummy
Loved the look of the pasta and dessert looked yum but hate cucumber.i know weird for a vegan not to like.thank you will definitely try
Haha most people don't like the look of the Japanese one, but it's tasty we swear
Yum!
Actual receipt starts after 1st minute. Skip the 1st minute of bla-bla. Like the pasta sauce idea. Thanks!
Me and my 6 year old are making the strawberry dessert today! 🤞🏼
Awww amazing, enjoy ❤
@@ThoseHappyDays it’s so yummy !!! 🤤😍
@@katduhaney5517 So pleased you like it ❤❤xx
Try 1 block silken tofu, 1 packet Kool-Aid and 1/4-3/4 cup sugar in food processor. Also, 1 block silken tofu, 1 cup peanut or almond butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract, 3/4 cup sugar in food processor. Refrigerate for a few hours to set up a bit.
Hi, quick question. The title says Silken tofu, but all three packets of tofu used said Firm. Am I missing something? Thank you :)
They were classed as silken still,
Cheers guys :D
Could I use soft silken tofu instead?
Unappealing texture? I prefer silken tofu over other types, especially for raw or partly-raw dishes
Didn’t know you can eat tofu uncooked.
Totally!!! Silken tofu is a fab ingredient raw
@@ThoseHappyDays But how is it raw? Tofu is cooked -- or does it fall within the 115F rule for "raw?"
Whar's name of the item in the bottle.. I could not get the spelling.. could not read on the bottle.. thanks
It's either the Soy Sauce in the first recipe or the coulis in the second. We got this Raspberry coulis from Sainsburys, I think it was from the section where all the random dessert items are like pie cases and Custard etc ❤
Or just add brown sugar and ginger juice
Why are the videos so fast
yes wonderful ideas but you're using firm tofu....? While you're saying silken tofu? I'm confused
It's silken but it says firm, its far from firm
