Great vid. The more I watch, ride and learn, the more I reckon our large adventure bikes make this kind of adventure riding so much harder. Those tracks would be a doddle on a CRF300 or KLX230 - but then you’ve got the slog back home. Compromise is a bitch.
Easy haha. Nice ride, I need to get up through there again. Great riding, specially if you go through swallow tail to Taralga then on the mount werrong.
Cheers mate. I watched your watagan trip today and where you camped I ride to on my mountain bike from Cessnock lol it's certainly beautiful up there and so peaceful
@@ajlongworth69 probably the most significant difference is that the BMW is a twin-cylinder, much smoother than my single thumper. Other than that, we haven't experienced much difference. Both are great bikes.

Yeah, you're right - it's a compromise, but I'm happy with that! 😄
Nice work on those crossings mate they sure can get a bit slick👍
As always great work and trip
Thanks mate 👍😀
As always the camera flattens it...nice scenic area 👍
It certainly does! :-)

Great ride Vern! Thanks for sharing the gpx too. Great intro with the 3D map for the route, a tutorial would be awesome. Thanks
Happy to share, and great video idea. I love to share my nerdiness! 😜
Great ride, the gpx file is appreciated for us who don't know the area and want to have a go.
Awesome. This is why I built MotoRides.com.au 😀😍
Great looking ride/video Vern, going to try and talk my mate into doing this ride.
Awesome! If there weather is anything like it was yesterday, it will be amazing!
3:30 Is that a 50cc scooter that just passed you?
Nice trip guys. Do you believe the swag is the way to go or will you be employing a tent next time?
Weisshorn Biker Swag is an option. Made a video on it.
@@PissTakeProduction I checked it out. Fabric coffin sounds right to me!
@@JakeyJay26 lol
@@JakeyJay26 You do get a good night's sleep in them. I add a self inflating mattress under the foam one and it's really good.
Yeah, I think I'll stick to the tent. I love the idea of the swag but the reality is not so great.
Do you need to be peakless to ride in your gang? Thanks for naming the trails.
Is the bmw a 650 or 800 cheers
Or is it a vstrom
It's an 2014 F800GS
Cheers mate. I watched your watagan trip today and where you camped I ride to on my mountain bike from Cessnock lol it's certainly beautiful up there and so peaceful
@MotoRidesAustralia just another quick question your 660 tenere have you had any issues and are they a worthwhile purchase over the 800gs
