Hi, this is interesting. About 2 min into this talk, you said 自由. Is this the same as Free Will in western philosophy? Free Will, as I understood in Western philosophy, is that one can do whatever one wants (eat, kill, rob and all). It is the need of others (sharing protection and resources) that one gives up some Free Will (ex rob your neighbor). And then rules and laws come about. But your 自由description is more of free from 煩惱. That’s very diff.
