nose wheel you showed the crack, but it was hard to see because of your light showing it, I did see one crack but I know it is hard to shine light, record and see.. but good job :D I wish I did GA maintenance,
@@aviationsquared1909 Lololol! Like safety wire under the fingernail when you’re elbow deep in a fuel control change. Or Skydrol in your mouth and that bottle of water is three finger lengths away. I hate airplanes, been working on them for 33 years and they still find ways to mock you!
It’s a tig weld for one (none of us can). 2, We’d have to do a X-ray after to determine if the work is good. 3, it’s a huge liability if something goes wrong 4, getting the first two things done costs more than a new wheel
@@aviationsquared1909 I'm not sure what a "tug weld" is but I was talking about the oil cooler. Sorry for not specifying, the wheel yes is trash. That broken flange on the cooler I would say could be welded for less than new cost. My xray guys use all digital extremely fine resolution shots, if it needed to be shot to verify full pen weld. I try to always hand liability off to the inspection company
Dang I just finished watching all your videos. Hope you do more
If I owned an airplane, you are the guy I would want doing the inspections and repairs.

Great aeroplane a Cessna 210. They need to be flown on the right numbers to get the besy put of them.
Question: why can't you just remove, clean, weld broken area? That is 100% weldable

I just watched this and I was thinking “Damn bro! You smashed your finger again?!” Then I realized this is an old video.
Technically… it was again since this video… so you’re reaction is correct
