[Daz Studio] Displacement Maps. WTF are they?

- In this video I briefly explain and demonstrate how to apply displacement maps to geometry.

While a good explanation of the use of displacement maps in Daz it should be noted that the object that is having the displacement applied to it must have adequate vertices for it to work; the more vertices the better the results.
A clever use of it.

I looked around for a bit but couldn't find the height map you used for displacement. Can you provide a link? I really would like to try this exercise.
i don't have a link for that file anymore but if you google height maps the internet is full of them
