I like the way you decided to use the top of the dress as a sweater, and it looks great on you! I used to have my cutting mat standing rolled up for storage but now I keep it on the floor under my bed (it's a wood floor, no carpet, don't know if that makes a difference). I pull it out to cut on the floor next to the bed but would love to have a real cutting table; just no where to put it. Fresh new sewing tools are like fresh notebooks and pens at the beginning of the school year - we haven't made any mistakes with them yet 😁!
Hey Mary! I like the idea of keeping the mats under the bed! This might work - only have to worry about Nala sitting on top of them haha. My cutting table folds down so I can have more space when I’m not using it. Hope this helps! Thanks for watching.
That 'fail' is fine. You want a simple pattern for a print like leopard. Plus Nordstrom is full of leopard print-its very trendy right now. I think it looks nice.
Hello. Keep the leopard t shirt dress as you can jazz it up with black tights and booties or layer a cute jacket over it. Don’t ditch it! It’s too cute and on trend . I made a knit leopard print top too but I really struggled. My old Viking didn’t like stitching on the cheap knit, pre washed, knit needle, gutter man thread knit tension auto set on my machine also…. But I had my walking foot on. But never thought to take it off n use just my regular feet. lol to me. That worked soo much better but after I was done. Oh well. It’s wearable but not out of the house,,, But it was a toile for my good fabric. Live n learn. You are too cute. Love your energy! Happy sewing. Take care. Nancy from northern IN. .
The Engine Red Jumpsuit is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 The 2nd outfit is a keeper❤️ The animal print can be worn so many ways. Keep it and just get in the mirror and try out different shoes and belts. Maybe leggings. I love your fabric choices for all of them. You are a girl after my own heart with your “ y’all” lol. So cute. I’m from Tennessee too. We Rock like that with the Y’all.❤
Hello here 🎉🎉 sitting with a cuppa about to catch up on your videos coz I have been busy lately 😅 nothing better than seeing what you have been sewing 🎉🎉 I would definitely wear the tshirt dress… may not be like what you thought it would be but it can always be a lounging dress or worst case scenario make it a tshirt 😊
I like the leopard print. But based on the look, I would say keep it. It’s not a fail…love the idea of layering it with other things, it could really look chic! Congratulations on your new Rotary cutting board! BTW, you look absolutely stunning in that red jumpsuit, I mean, absolutely STUNNING! ❤❤❤
@@roshandachark7820 it can happen a number of ways. Tbh, I don’t know how it happened on this specific mat. But I did have a mat that I left in my car (in the summer) and it completed warped beyond return

Thank you for the advice! I agree, definitely don’t want to overcomplicate leopard!
Oh you should do an overall in denim patches!!
A denim trench coat
Love this idea 🤭
Love this idea too!
Keep the "leopard print" for future use. You could probably put a turtleneck and black leggings w/ it. Just a thought. Love you!!
Love you back!! I’ve decided to keep it

Welcome back! I’ve missed seeing your comments! Haha. And yes I agree, all is not lost with the T-shirt dress and it can be reworked! Love your ideas!

Love the ideas Myra!! And thank you ♥️💃🏽
I like the t-shirt dress. I always jazz them up shoes, a hat or accessories. I hang my mats on the back of the door.
I love this idea, I agree it needs some styling
That dress is not a fail
Thank you! Just need to work on styling it up!
Love both-the jumpsuit and the open back top! Gorgeous❤ how about sweater, tights, boots and a beautiful long necklace?
Great idea!! thanks CJ!
I love my Fabric Mart Mystery boxes.
Great!!
The tunic is adorable ☺
Aww thanks Kiara, appreciate you sharing that.
@@RavenMaureen 🤗🤗🙌🏽
I have an Olfa mat and I used the metal pants hanger and hang them behind my door.
Thank you for this idea!
@@RavenMaureen you are very welcome sis.
It doesn’t look like a failure but what about different sleeves? Solid green? Red? Black? Zebra? Sequin?
Great ideas!!
How do the matts get warped?

@@RavenMaureen thanks for responding. Got it, that makes sense. I guess I've only kept mine inside so I was curious.
How did you finish the bottom of that dress/sweater?
For S9010 I added an elastic band to the waist
@@RavenMaureen Perfect. thanks so much. That was such a great idea
