- Video: Noel Gallagher takes fan questions and plays two songs solo (on electric guitar) at King's Head pub in Santa Monica, CA. This was billed as "Breakfast With Oasis" and broadcast on the FM radio-station KROQ. Note: The audio for the 2 song performances ("Live Forever" and "Slide Away") is a bit distorted/clipping due to volume. The circulating audio source sounded similar.
VHS/Cam-Audio - Patched a couple spots w/ audio on the camera source w/ the audio recording that is in circulation. Thanks to Johnky for sharing that audio source w/ me.
High as a kite, yet still delivers perfectly in wit and music.
He’s so sharp and entertaining in interviews. His intelligence always comes through when he talks. He really was (and is) a unique talent.
I can’t even put into words how much I love this man. Intelligent, hilarious and a natural talent to entertain. This 40 minutes went by quick.
Awesome hearing Noel say „Liams the best singer of his generation“ and paying him respect
Even if the audio is shit he really gave it all for Slide Away
Thought I’d seen everything Oasis. Nice one.
Now that's a rare video. Great! 97/98 by far best Oasis era.
This reminds me of the Tibetan Freedom Concert, where it was just Noel, an 'F-hole' Les Paul, plugged in to a Marshall Stack. I actually dig it, man!
That man can rock a jumper
This as a musician gives me so much hope. I have seen so many people perform the same way as he did here. With the band he makes a good song GREAT! I know I can now do the same
Noel was prepped for this type of session by traveling and working for The Inspiral Carpets. He was good and ready. It shows.
20 years from now, oasis will be remembered by the youngers of their generation...hammer the stone if l'm wrong!.
this is a couple of days after their concert in San Francisco! me and my brother saw them live in SF (1-26-1998) and the show was BIBLICAL. massive sounds and people actually got really hiiiiggh! no cellphones or even cameras during that time and you really have to focus on the show and enjoy the moment. great times!
Marcus Russell behind Paul and Jason Rhodes with the camera at the very end. That was brilliant, Noel on great form, gotta love Oasis in the 90s
Thank you for sharing this jewels from my fav Oasis era
Thank you so much!!
Thank you and Johnky!!
Wow man your research deserves a standing ovation, thank you so much!!! I always thought that Noel is like a sponge absorbing any kind of melodies, words and phrases That catches his ears atention. Very inspiring video
