My mother passed away on May 17, 2024, after spending 25 days in the Intensive Care Unit. I visited her every day that was allowed. Shortly after my visit on the 17th, I heard this song (it had been a long time since I had heard it). My mother passed away that night. She was a kidney patient. I had made the decision to be with her until the very end. I was the last one to see her heart beating. Even though her life expectancy had been shortened by her illness, I wanted more time, much more time with her. 😢
Noels acoustic sets in 98 were so so beautiful. I only wish he played more of his acoustic songs live
My friend killed himself last year and this was his funeral song he picked long before it.... i was driving home from work today and thought of him, so here i am and it breaks my heart man 🤝

Listen to Noel Gallagher it's incredible but kinda sad at the same time, because there ain't gonna be anyone to "substitute" him when he leaves the stages someday . In my opinion he is the greatest last songwritter of all time
Unbelievable songwriter . This song is my favourite oasis song for sure . The chorus is just something that makes you want to sing along . Cos I need more time , yes I need more time ….. simple but brilliant

Still all these years later and despite controversy - still a HUGE fan of Oasis and Noel. He was my very first/earliest celebrity crush. And here I am like 25 years later attempting to learn his songs on guitar. 😅

When it comes to Noel’s acoustic solo performances, I always get the feeling that there are mor guitars playing! I may be biased but I’ve never seen someone with his strumming, it sounds so full and complete.
