Not at all! Necro is good too! In it's own regard! It is a great support profession and good at applying conditions! Guardian is reallly strong though. It can fulfill almost any role.
I just started this game but I’ve been having a lot of fun with mh mace and glyphic with greatsword for pvp bgs. Lots of support/sustain and I can dish out enough damage to turn the tide once my buffs/virtues are online
@@Kyosika xD you can tell I'm new, Glyphic is a relic. You get the range 4 ability and shield + block/retaliate from 3 and healing from 2 and 1 combo. It's a lot of fun. If they run you switch to greatsword for the charge and do your 3 then 5 in succession to get that ranged attack off before your charge comes online again and weapon swap to hit that ranged ability from your relic again and repeat.
Isn't guardian clunky to play ? I have a Soulbeast and it uses greatsword, and it feels so slow to play this weapon. Is it just Slb that gives this feeling ?
7:37 you are showing a picture and point on a virtues build then right after 7:51 you pull up a traitline for radiance the bench for that is like 5 k dps lower its abit missleading that you make people think they can hit that high with that build but otherwise a very nice guide.
I’m torn between guardian and warrior. I want a greatsword dps with some utility and solo sustain/survivability but I don’t want to be a full support or full banner slave. Main focus being 2h dps with heavy armor.
I need help picking a class to play with my GF. She's still new to MMOs so I need a class that can "solo" content but also be able to heal teammates. Can Guardian do that? Would Revenant/Renegade be better? I want to be able to do decent damage while keeping her alive too.
Small nitpick: When you introduce the Dragonhunter raid build you show the Virtues DH benchmark and explain the Radiance DH build. The Virtues build is only really playable on Mursaat and Adina with a Boonthief because 20% of your damage comes from having permanent Aegis uptime (Unscathed Contender, found in the Virtues trait line). Since you also need 10-11 boons for another damage boosting trait the build is NOT beginner friendly in the least, even though the rotation is easy to memorise. The damage drop from losing Aegis is steep. While the Radiance build you actually described is a decent/good power DPS build at 35k and easy to pick up for newer raiders it is not one of the best DPS builds, as it gets significantly outperformed by Soulbeast, Holosmith and Chronomancer. The rest of the video was comprehensive and easy to understand, so I´ll still give you props for a job well done.
Hey, thanks for your feedback!! I looked at several sources (SC and Discretize) before including it in this video. But I'm glad you provide some extra context!
