I always love seeing your beautiful drawings, but today I really appreciated seeing the drawings you aren’t so happy with - I recently started a “freehand” sketchbook and have been slightly uncomfortable with the lack of control. It helps to see that if I make a “bad” drawing it doesn’t matter, I still drew and I still learned something!
I so admire that you show your 'bad' drawings. (Well I don't think they are bad !) Also love getting peeps at your beautiful gestural paintings on the walls behind you. Thank you, Koosje ❤
I absolutely love your work and I have signed up for your May mini workshop. As I'm in Queensland Australia, I just now have to make sure I can stay awake between 1am and 2.30 am as I want to do it live. 🤣
Fantastic sketchbook. Brilliant You Make *original artwork* from real Life - superb. Your skills are wonderful. You draw with great detail of people in a cafe/ your husbands music band (whilst they are performing). Well done. Keep sharing

Hi, Koosje. You won’t remember me but way back during sketchbook school with Danny I took several of your courses and watched all the videos. It changed my life and I’ve done a lot of sketchbooks and other artwork since then. What an absolute treat to watch this again it was like a breath of fresh air. With proportions or without proportions everything you draw is always very artistic! I keep copying your sketches to try to absorb your way of drwaing. Thanks for sharing!
I have always loved drawing. But especially the past 14 years I have been learning new techniques and got hooked on drawing in my sketchbook. I now draw daily, even if sometimes it’s just 5 minutes. it has become part of my daily life.

Collage can definitely be the answer to pages that you’re horrified by.
