Update: Is My Yamaha Banshee Dead? WON'T START!?

I'm trying to get this Banshee fired up today. It's getting spark, it's getting fuel. Tested electricals, cleaned carbs. Good compression? CDI bad? Will to live gone? What is going on!

Triangle of power. First is check for spark. Disconnect TORS system. Still no spark…check stator….then CDI. Compression check is last on list.

stand it up vertical on the back grab bar for 8 seconds ,
then put it back down and start it

I got the 06 going and was able to get out for a couple good rides earlier this week! I did get the 97' sold, a local socal guy ended up picking it up.

@@NolanHimself good to hear. I was actually in contact with you about the 97 at one point through Ebay. If you were ever to get rid of the 06 let me know. BTW your definitely an inspiration to some riders out there...

I've sold a few. Right now it seems like EVERYONE see's that gold rush so it's pretty competitive trying to score a nice one for a good price anymore. I have a 1991 that I'll be selling in the near future, check my other vids to see that one.

I still can at any time. It is obvious that the motor is still very healthy.
