paint a white line down the middle and you'll be able to hide from police helicopters too! 😃
That is some brilliant thinking.
Paint a pair of white lines and you've got a skunk, and you'll have the roadvto yourself.
That is fucking hilarious!!!
nah it would need some potholes and patches to look real :)
@@bitkarekblend right in on our UK roads brilliant idea lol
Not gonna lie it looks better with the coat!
A small improvement to how it looks, would be to do the same thing, but with a black undercoat.
If RUclips had Oscars, I would totally nominate this crazy channel.
I'd be interested to see a softer rubber like a playground. This is still such a hard coating. Like bed liner
Yup!👋🤣👍
looks really cool to be fair
It does! Looks better than coating a car in bed liner coating.
Wonder if heat treating that would close up the pores, and be able to repair tears. This channel is pure win.
Stay gold.
Rubber is not able to be molten and molded. It's a type of polymer called thermoset which once cured cannot be reshaped so heat treating wouldn't do much. Maybe burn the small parts of cuts to make them less visible, but otherwise nothing
Make tires molded completely of this material. Also, fill regular tires with this material.
Thankyou BMI! Never give up your craft and make sure you keep up the "alternate" voices.
"Why's everybody keep calling this pavement? I mean I guess it's similar. You know that's actually a great idea!" 😂
Disadvantage: hot inside the car during the summer.
Advantage: Excellent stealth at night time.
Wow.....
Do you know what you just made?
Believe it or not ! !
Radar stealth coating.
Yes, look at what stealth technology actually is.
Very impressive gentlemen.......
This needs to be tested
You're likely right about the coating but unless you covered every square inch, removed license plates, lights, reflectors, etc., I suspect it wouldn't be very exciting. Depending on the vehicle design, I'd imagine it could reduce the effective range but I doubt much more.
Isn't it just ferrofluid? Magnetite beads?
Cool story bra
@@JJFX-
Yeah,
The windshield is a huge issue.
Cote the windshield also !!!
Bet you can smell it coming 2 blocks away
GTA6 needs a G54 mod option!!! - on that note G54 should build the "ultimate Lada" using the best of all there mods... A racey engine, puncture proof tyres and indestructible rubber body!!!
Cool story bra
Идеальной Лада быть не может
Astounding experiment! Very well executed. Thanks fellas, very entertaining.
Thanks BMI Russian! For the voice over and translation.
This would probably work really well for wheel wells undercoating and a bed liner
That might good idea probably could reduce sound tires when hit the road pavement
Not worth the work. Just Buy a can of rubberized hard coat
6:51 Be careful, that fella has an axe to grind! 😆 😆
Ngl I’m doing this rather than a new paintjob if i ever have the need to repaint a car
Complex task to carry out, not many specialise in it
And no car polishing
It's a really cool experiment!
In America we have this stuff called rhinoliner that people coat their truck beds with, it's basically the same thing but sprayed on and sealed with some sort of resin or something
I've seen a few offroad trucks coated in rhinoliner online
Yeap. Polymer paint like Raptor. Also there is a Turkish military version of it, it adds a some sort of anti projectile armor on cars
Cool story bra
Shoulda weighed before and after, I'm curious how much that added to the overall weight.
Me too
the door literally shat itself when the ball hit it, brown fell out
i knew a guy who did carpet. he did his work van in indoor/outdoor carpet. advertising his work. believe it or not, he spent a lot of time doing it. it was impressive.
Garage 54:
Accidentally invents the Cyberkar...
Better than bed liner
wounder how well it would work as a bed liner
@@jjjacer Too grippy, would be hard to slide things on it. Pretty durable I'm sure, but Line-X is also durable as hell.
You can't beat line x
how it comes that this channel do not have at least 20 million subscribers? you are amazing guys.
Reminds me of a time years back, a friend replaced his black vinyl roof on his old Mk4 Ford Cortina with... Roofing/shed felt for a laugh! He said, it helped with rain proofing the roof! 🤣🤣🤣
😎🇬🇧
This is such a great idea. I will do this on the old Holden!
You should do a few of these, but a whole lot thicker and have a destruction darby type thing.
It looks almost like Vanta Black! The words blackest color
Cool story bra
love the tilting trick
as an undercoating and an inner coating for the trunk etc., this might be better than the materials used in cars today.
Factory vehicles don't use undercoating
@@mann_idonotreadrepliesDepends on what it is and where you get it. Trucks here in the USA are often bed lined with undercoating.
My 1974 German car is factory undercoated which saved the metal under it.
this would make a good undercoat.
Wow! That was one of the crazy ideas I had as a kid!!
“To insure the rubber and glue compound sticks around and doesn’t drip down to the ground” that’s a bar 🔥🔥🔥🔥
👌🤣👍This guy’s always coming out with some crazy automotive experiments! And we love it!
This would probably make an excellent rustproofing on the bottom of a car.
In terms of practical use This looks like it would protect the frame really well and last a really long time.
Greetings from colombia, i'm a huge fan of garage54 and russkiy culture ovreall, you guys really have original and creative content over all youtube channels, every thing a curious kid ever dream you are making in real life :D.
Just make sure the kids don't start using it as part of the local playground... :P
The Russian sideways jig is superb.
I have been thinking for many years about something pretty cheap that could cover and protect my large ROOF, and this might be it. And it looks good to.
Is it waterproof?
Gotta love garage54
Also possible to bounce radar off of it. This guy needs a medal. Hats OFF!
You mean to not bounce radar right? In another word, absorb.
@@mediocreman2 Potato,Pootato
@user-iy1vo2jf2q big difference between possible and IMpossible dude. 😂
Lamao it NEEDS to absorb Einstein
@@UmmmmmmmWhat Yeah, thats what they said about cell phones in 1977, and sending Astronauts to space, breaking the sound barrier..now I know the speed of stupid.
It works really good and looks good too !!!!
Ich bin immer wieder fasziniert, von der guten Qualität eurer Eigenbauten. Ihr habt eine Idee und zack selber hergestellt. Top
Gefällt mir sehr.....so arbeite ich auch gern..
Weiter so...Beste Grüße
did a good job actually WAY better then I thought. be safe . have a blessed day.. looks like it would be an amazing bed liner maybe clear epoxy on top
The car will be much warmer too!
1:10 I prefer this new merch plug. I genuinely appreciate this channel being family friendly again. I missed watching your content but I simply could not watch it due to my dedication to my family.
I never wanted to work in a garage... But then I found Garage 54
if there's a pt. 2 for the same car, I'd like to see if the rubber granules will prevent a 9mm bullet from piercing the car body. or if the bullet will make a dent in the metal body frame making the rubber skin make the bullet bounce off. Edit: I'd also like to see how well the rubber coating will take the heat during the summer months over in your area too.
Lol, looks kind of cool actually! I've seen trucks and Jeeps painted with that Rhino truck bed lining material, works good for keeping scratches and scrapes away when off roading.
that look awesome
That Lada with the granulated rubber coating looks good that now looks like a very nice Lada
Probably should've painted it black first. Still quite a bit of white spots in the jams. And A pillar
That test car looks pretty cool in black
Looks like rocker guard but more texture
"JUST give it a few rubs and "ITS GONE"
🤣😂🤣😂
New shark and bitbull proof material.
Might be good for the dash.
I love this show 😊
Bully Liner: Exists
These guys
This guys will make flying lada one day 🤣 keep it up
ever thought about trying to try a Tirque converter with a Manual transmission??
Would love to see that
my truck is getting this treatment
Missed opportunity with some tire shine.
Add some tire shine on it 😀
Wow, that was a durable coating
It's the astro turf look lol
I know people with Jeep Cherokees that had done that very thing to their vehicles with colored spray on bed liner coating & they look absolutely amazing and scratch resistant…
imma do my 2018 corolla like this when I get it paid off
I want to do this so bad now

We need to make roads out of trillions of used tires. That material is effectively indestructible and a dirt cheap. Perfect for making all season roads for thousands and thousands kilometers
And filled with cancerous chemicals that would leech into our water 🤷♂️
I love this idea so much I am totally going to do this to my 98 Honda😅😅😅
Very nice, could be a better use for homemade interior sound proofing insulation.
Top of the fender is dented, just fill it in with a bit of ground up tire. Easy body repair!
what is a great idie I think I will do that under side as under coating ansd sound proffing
Maybe you are onto something that could go viral. You said its working as a sound deader. What if you do a truck cab on the inside? A trunk or the underneath a car. A headliner, firewall, pickup bed walls of your Building? Roof? Shop floor?
Imagine being cooked alive in it in the summer 🤣
Probably not too much different than a black car? Maybe a little warmer?
Well the outside of body will certainly be warm, but I feel like the rubber would absorb the heat. It might even be cooler than just paint.. ignoring the windows as a factor m
They don't have summer in Siberia.
@@Sireojaконечно нет. Только +30 бывает держится по месяцу))
That’s why vehicles have AC
This coat is good for rust protection for the undercarrige i think.👍
HAHAHHAHHA the people preparing their weapons!!
It is like budget LINE-X. 😁😁
How about the final part with the two cars with the rubber coating??? That should be interesting
Better than the Stainless steel on a Tesla Cybertruck.
i need to do my chevy lada,,, what poly do i mix in ? is that mineral spirits to thin it ??
Should try the rubber and resen that you would use for fiberglass
make a car that drifts like a king! (all wheels turn for steering) Imagine a door2door drift train but no traction loss, it would be fun!
I'd wonder what the weight increase would be.or the increase fuel mileage if any
Love it
I really want to do this to my work truck now😂
Made out of good gauge steel
Use it on floor mats?bed liner for truck?
What happens if you put a second coat of that stuff on?
As stealthy as a SR 71 Blackbird and a Ninja . ❤
This legit looks like something that I'd like to make... until I think about debris shooting off in a crash.
I bet vehicle will stay warm due to the mat black finish in the sun even with your harsh winters
this could be usefull in offroad use maybe... tho on the other hand it would be a pain to wash i bet. looks cool tho.
Imagine if that car caught fire...how bad it would stink!
3 coat of lineX with the rubber would have done great
Very expensive to do that though.
Line x doesn't need 3 coats
Vantablack is too expensive.
That's why scientists at Garage 54 worked tirelessly (pun intended?) and brought you
VantaBlyat!
Cool story bra
looks like it would be ok for a truck bed liner.
How about make a reduction gear between cold and hot side in a turbocharger?
Now take it in for a paintless dent repair service
