It has such a nostalgic vibe, when I heard it I swore it was a song I had already heard before in my childhood, I was shocked when I saw that the release date was in 2019 :o
I feel like I listened to every version at least a couple thousand times, they broke the music barrier with this one🐻
It features bossa nova chord structure and it makes it so beautiful! Listen to Me vs Myself Mac Ayres and you'll hear the pattern! They even say they are influenced by bossa which is awesome!

This song is INCREDIBLE. It transports me back to the 80s. I don't know why, but once she hits the auto-tune, my emotions rip thru me. I don't know about you, but it struck a chord very deep in my heart. My new favorite song.

i feel that it was still good but looks like he's playin out of a friedman head into an emperor cab so more suited for gainy stuff, vs the studio vers doesnt sound as gainy/distorted (at least if it is its blended more) - this one seems like its missing some backing tracks and stuff to help fill the space, but tbh if the lead guitar was a bit lower volume wise & not as gainy would be much cleaner

No way that this is one of the worst live performances lmao!! 😂 you must not be musically inclined or realize how talented this band is. They’re tight and actually in the pocket the whole time?? This isn’t your normal pop-crap radio garbage, the actual song’s composition has got some sustenance. It’s not over technical like a lot of stuff I listen to, but it’s got colorful depth. They’re killing it. Plus it’s hard to sing and play guitar simultaneously, try it you’ll see. And the fact u have 40 likes with a comment like that shows that you and everyone who agreed with you are all either really young or really young AND ignorant. Probably came from TikTok and normally listen to lil-whatever.

I'm going to be honest…. This is terrible.
Guitar sounds awful, vocals are meh, drums and bass are OK.
The Original song had a great guitar tone, and they really messed it up in this performance. Not to mention the amount of wrong notes they played… 0:25 Look at his face man, he knows they really messed up lmao.
The mix is just the standard fare Audiotree incompetence I've come to expect always at this point. But you're right about the not great performance. At least the album is still a bop 🤷🏼
the original song is a perfect studio performance and this vid is a live bands performance, it will very rarely sound the same
@@okaight7248 I've been to plenty of shows where the band sounded better live than on cd. Nobody is saying it needs to sound identical to the studio version. We're talking about how everything is balanced and mixed poorly and the guitar tone is not pleasant. And Audiotree is habitually terrible at mixing the bands in a way that is agreeable with their sound. And given that Audiotree always puts these performances up with the audio tracks as a separate standalone product that you can stream on Spotify or wherever else, it might be prudent to make sure you get the mix right so it doesn't sound like a butchered mess later if the audio only version is what you happen to encounter first.
