Tony Gee yes. it's a Hero 4 silver with the lcd touch screen on the back. I film in 1080p at 60fps. it mounted in an EVO GP Pro 3 axis gimbal system. it's how I get the silky smooth camera movements. thanks for watching.
Love it bro... Had a 2001 Tundra, Fabtech lift on 35" BFG's.. Sold it about 10 yrs ago and I miss it everyday lol.. Just like you, I vow to own another Toyota truck before I die! Good ish man! 👍🏽
Ive owned both. I miss both. I prefer Toyota trucks now only because I have a wife and 2 kids which dont dont fit well in my old Jeep Wrangler. The new Rubicons are amazing!
Man, that last tundra was the best, but right behind it was that first adventure trailers taco... it just needed a different color scheme. Another great job mix!
shawn hamilton I would have featured your vehicle if I saw it. I missed a lot of vehicles because the show was just so big and I'm just one guy. I think I need a film Crew for SEMA lol.
Man.. here I was looking up to you and thinking you were this all out Toyota fan. Then you killed it when you called that new Tundra a "Mega Cab".. Sorry bud, it's CREWMAX.. oh well, still awesome video though. 😁
Cretens lol....wires can get crossed at SEMA. it's serious sensory overload. I called a Mustang a Chevy once and I called a Camara a lexus....crazy body kits throw me off and I have to restart my camera lol. it's nuts at SEMA.
I can understand. I have been at SEMA 3 times. It amazing. Definitely a lot of stuff to look at. Next time you go. Walk across the skywalk to the Hilton for an awesome breakfast buffet. Man, that's some good food.
Well not really a body kit but it has custom fenders front and rear. If you have instagram, you can follow him @projectsilverbullet. The fender are made by Fiberwerx.
The last tundra was a TRD Pro. Thats the reason it had the pro suspension. Readylift came out with a kit that allows you to retain the pro suspension and lift it an additional 4 or 6 inches. Cool kit but what worries me is the cv axles and stacking lifts like that but hey seems like they know what they are doing. Gotta love that quicksand color. One of my favorites.
I've wanted a Tundra for a while now, can't wait to get one! I know most people don't love the flashy-ness of it, but that blue chrome Tundra looks amazing!! 👍 💯
swalling22 when u get one u will love it I finally got mine last Jan it's a 08 sr5 crewmax I've owned every truck make out there except Nissan never bought one of those but my tundra kill's everything I've owned in the past I still have a Ford & a GMC truck both of them wish they were a tundra. tundra is bye far the best full size truck out there hand's down
papa 13 awesome man thanks for the info, I've looked at titans too but I dunno. Tundras hold their value EXTREMELY well it's insane. must be for a reason 👍
Great video mix. I have a 2016 taco trd off road with crawl control and it is simply awesome but I really need that kick ass tent though. Damn that is so cool man.
Just found your video this morning, thanks for showing our tundra at 8:23 some attention! We appreciate all the feedback we have been getting on our build. We only wish we were able to showcase the vehicle properly because there were many touches and little things missed because we weren't able to run the accessories outside! That truck made the journey from our shop in Winston-Salem, NC to Las Vegas, NV driven the entire way proving that large of a vehicle can be driven daily if so chosen while still being more than capable offroad!
mixflip We wish we were able to attend this year but we have decided to take a year away to focus on shop work and will return for the 2018 show, hopefully with a new vehicle! In the mean time check out our instagram for pics of our build and our trip across the US with it, it was a fun build start to finish!
Frank Autosales it was a Readylift 8” kit that retained the TRD Pro suspension up front, OME leaf springs in the rear for the added weight of the rack. Wheels were two piece Fuel Mavericks, custom painted with OMF bead lock rings added wrapped in 38” Toyo MT tires. We re-geared it and added ARB air lockers front and rear. Bumpers were modified N-Fabs with an access point added for the winch that was under the rear, behind the license plate. The rack was a custom build we designed and made ourselves. The tent was an ARB, and the light bars were all Putco. No one noticed but there were two 70” light bars underneath the truck for rock lighting. The lights up front were actually Putco Jeep headlights we adapted into some headlight buckets and used them as off road lights. It was a challenging build but a great one none the less. We set out to build an overland vehicle that could also be used everyday and the drive out to SEMA from NC proved that. It’s back out west now in California, hope to see it again someday! Thanks for your interest!
TheCodFather that thing is called....reliability. back in the 80s Toyota trucks would get you out and back without breaking down....while chevy and ford's and dodges would break down quite a bit. the legend just grew from there. the new American trucks are just as reliable now but they have to fight 30byears of bad reputation.
mixflip Yes i understand that, but if you look up the most reliable vehicles of the last 20 or so years its the ford and chevy heavy duty trucks, even more so the diesels. my first vehicle was a 1999 suburban that was my moms, i got it when i was 16 and it had 120k on it. i sold it when it was over 300k. the 2 vehicles that have the most of them still being registered with 250k+ in the states are the ford then chevy diesels. and thats over the last 15-20ish years.
Then you must understand that heavy duty diesels do not fit the general truck market like small to medium sized trucks do. Millions of people want/need a small truck for the family and to drive to work and occasional fun time on the weekends. Big full sized heavy duty diesel trucks simply dont fit that need. I agree the Cummins turbo diesel in a 1998 Dodge Ram 4x4 is a beast of a truck but its not economical, agile in the city and isn't the best option for a daily driver/commuter truck. I think things are changing though. The new Colorado with the diesel option is nice! As well as the aluminum ecoboost Ford Raptor.
mixflip i agree with what your saying and see the following behind the tacoma, my younger brother had one a while back because ford chevy and dodge always neglected that market until gm came back to it recently.
Expedition Overland Tacoma was there? Awesome. For those that don't know, find their Channel, watch it.
Thanks for watching
Thx for this bud. Die hard Toyota fan here!
Thanks for watching.
I got a tacoma with 353,000 miles. I lov it.👍☺
what are you filming with? GoPro?
Tony Gee yes. it's a Hero 4 silver with the lcd touch screen on the back. I film in 1080p at 60fps. it mounted in an EVO GP Pro 3 axis gimbal system. it's how I get the silky smooth camera movements. thanks for watching.

Thanks for watching

Thanks for watching.
i was in paradise for 10;44
LOL I know right.
Toyotas just plain last. it also helps that there is a Hugh after market for their trucks.
I have a Tacoma with 235,000 miles and every day it works..
toyotas are made to last!
My 2010 has 200,000 as well!
Nice!

Thanks for watching.
are those guys who build and own lifted trucks with thin tires and chrome wheels, chrome vinyl... are they trying to compensate something?
Thanks for watching
great video mix flip as usual !! I've never owned a Toyota but have been considering buying one to replace my jeep
Ive owned both. I miss both. I prefer Toyota trucks now only because I have a wife and 2 kids which dont dont fit well in my old Jeep Wrangler. The new Rubicons are amazing!
@mixflip do you know what rack system was on that tundra in the last portion of your video??
Max Tiuseco sorry I never saw a label. all I know is that it's called a chase rack.
Man, that last tundra was the best, but right behind it was that first adventure trailers taco... it just needed a different color scheme. Another great job mix!
Thanks for watching.
I like the Overland kind of trucks. I can't lift my truck too much due to the low clearance at my job parking structure. love the tents too.
overland vehicles are my favorite too. sadly none of them fit in my garage lol.
Good video! Wish my build would have made it. Check out project Doomsday RUclips, Facebook and Instagram.
shawn hamilton I would have featured your vehicle if I saw it. I missed a lot of vehicles because the show was just so big and I'm just one guy. I think I need a film Crew for SEMA lol.
mixflip all good! It was in the back where uber, cabs and buses came in. Hit me up for SEMA 17. I'll be there.
Great looking bunch of Toyotas
Thanks for watching

Cretens dang it....I missed a breakfast buffet? I live for breakfast buffets.
anyone know what body kit that is on the Tundra? @0:37 or is it a custom one?
Well not really a body kit but it has custom fenders front and rear. If you have instagram, you can follow him @projectsilverbullet. The fender are made by Fiberwerx.
Nice!!
Are you going to cover any of the off-road vans?
berniedmj m there weren't many this year. there are tons of them at the overland expo. I'll film them next year in May.
Bummer! Okay cool!! Looking forward until May. Keep up the great vids & thanks!!

Ian Brown Toyota Hilux Revo 3.0

mastalee I saw it....but it wasn't a Toyota so it didn't go in this video.

Great video mix. I have a 2016 taco trd off road with crawl control and it is simply awesome but I really need that kick ass tent though. Damn that is so cool man.

Can we have some specs on the build? Which readylift kit you used, wheels, etc. Thanks in advance

I dont understand how toyota trucks are a thing when you have American trucks.

Tacomas are made in america, had a ford, was a piece of garbage, now I have a tacoma.
