I'm not sure which video you mean, but I wouldn't have said that. Both are correct, but "two people" is more common. We only say "two persons" in very specific circumstances (like in some legal contexts).

"People who live in glass houses" - we have the same proverb. We say "To see a mote in someone else's eye but don't notice a log in yours". You can also say "Dude, pls, take away the log out of your eye..." if this person is picky but also has the simliar faults (or worse).

Don't make a stallion from a mosquito! about a person who lies or changes the facts of a bad situation to look or to be worst than it is. When the cat is not home, the mice play on the table. (When the cat is away, the mice come out to play), Don't fatten your pig the night before it's cut (Don't cram for an exam the night before), The bird dreams of corn meal. (Keep dreaming), it about a persons wishes, or something they want to be different, but is/their too lazy or comfortable to do something to change it. Who is alike, gathers together (Birds of a feather flock together),it's about people who have the same character flaws.

If you're walking on the sidewalk, we would usually say: I'm walking in the street. - If somebody is outside begging, we would say: S/he is is begging in the street. - "To live on the street(s)" is a fixed expression which means to be homeless

We have on like that in English too :D: don't look a gift horse in the mouth. It's not exactly the same as "beggars can't be choosers", but it's similar.

And the equivalent of “Two heads are better than one” would be “Cuatro ojos ven más que dos” (literally “Four eyes see more than two”)
