It fits well into the show, but it wasn't actually planned. Kutner's actor wanted out, so they wrote him out. It's actually pretty amazing that it fit as well as it did under the circumstances.
house is as just good as breaking bad or mr robot, it just has more of an ability to watch epsiodes as a standalone. But that's not a reason to ignore how good the characters and overarching plot is
You can see the weight of her guilt hit House like a ton of bricks. And then when he needs to sit down after hearing her confession... He genuinely understood why she thought she deserved to die.
Are you serious? You do realize it is not a true event, it's a storyline for a Tell lie vision show! You need to see a professional for whatever is going on in your head!

To me knowing that a person is guilty, and having the conscious to not being able to live with it makes them deserve to live. What’s better punishment than having that trauma for the rest of their life. Also the parents low-key are partially responsible too for letting a child babysit another child. So I hope they feel guilty too.

@@nl-ho4wm the fact of the matter is, she accepted that responsibility when she agreed to her parents about taking care of her brother, so yeah she did commit manslaughter 👍
@@Devilmaycry-Jokerthe fact of the matter is that siblings who accept taking care of their other sibling does not make it a duty owned. If you still think is manslaughter then show me a case where a child was charged with negligence in their sibling's death.
No, but I can only imagine that level of guilt and self-loathing, being unable to look at your parents without reliving the feeling of it all happening over and over again, feeling like they must hate you and maybe they'd be better off without you; like in dying, you'd be trading places with the little sibling you feel you took from them. I'd certainly never want to feel like that.
House cares. He's so much physical pain, he tries to avoid emotional pain. That's why he tries to stay detached. He cares about so much more than anyone realizes.
I loved the scene at the end when House confronts her. It's not often that you can visibly see him sympathize with a patient. The acting was great
It makes sense, House also suffers from depression.
Just goes to show what an amazing actor Hugh Laurie is! You forget that it's all an act and you just drown in the emotions. I love this show so much
Pretty much every episode centered around a kid, you get said "visibly sympathetic" House.
Keep watching lol 👌🏾
House rarely gets sorry but in this scene, he really got sorry for her. You could see in his eyes 🥺 9:42
House understands pain.
Sometimes it’s easier to convince your friends and loved ones to forgive you than it is to convince yourself to forgive you.
💯% accurate!!! I accidentally set fire to my childhood home. My mom and brother forgave me. It's been 21 years. I still haven't fully forgiven myself.
Sometimes?
Me: doctor I have a cough.
House: you're a liar and you have stage 4 cancer!
True true
House, he may be crazy, but he's always right! ...except all the times he's wrong, which is usually the first 2 diagnoses they come up with.
Kutner’s responses really make his later fate make more sense
