      He did pretty decent for being out five years ill give him his props would of be sick to see him get one though but he did pretty good all year just couldn’t hang with the big dogs like he use to be able to do

      To be off as long as he was and still run up with the best on a bike that everyone seemed to struggle to set up, I’d say he had a great season.

      Yes. KTM's top rider. Always in the mix. Each year the racing conditions get a little harder. A comeback like his was remarkable.

      Yes 100% it was a success in my eyes! Couple holeshots, 4 top 5 overalls, and if he didn’t have that mechanical DNF at Washougal he would have not finished outside the top 10 once outdoors in a single Moto. In this day and age to have that consistently at the top of your game is hard, and dungey hasn’t raced Moto since thunder valley 2016 (6 years ago), and hasn’t raced at all professionally since Vegas 2017 (5 years ago). Plus he was training out of Minnesota, not full time at the bakers factory, or the goat farm like most all of the top riders are doing these days. I would even argue that dungey was, at times, better than Roczen outdoors this year. Picking back up, almost where you left off 5+ years ago in any profession would be difficult to say the least! All of that combined is what makes this feat even more amazing.

    Yes success. Trained in MN vs Bakers & was a 4-5 winner week in and out after being on the "couch". MX champ, SX Champ, MXON Champ, Wheaties, ESPY...... family man, Christian. Dude's a legend.

    The sport got faster, incredible techniques in the corners by Tomac and Sexton…new speed…similar to Bubba’s/Carmichaels]’s speed increase in 😅corners and jumps…sooo incredible for Dungey to be competitive…luv this sport!

    I’m just glad he didn’t end up injured. It was really cool to see him ride this year but he should stay off the pro circuit. Go do some 2-stroke stuff, gncc, etc.

    He was owned by Ryan Villopotto his entire career, whom I truly believe it´s dungey´s daddy. Either way, props to Diesel on his attempt to make the box this time around

    There's no fun at that level. It's all biz. Glad he got to experience a piece of it without the pressure even though he went back into work mode. That's all he knew. I'm sure there're were some expectations or they wouldn't have signed him for a one year deal out of a 5 year retirement. I think he performed well well above expectations.

    It’s probably just in my head but I feel like ktm is just not on par with most of the Japanese bikes and I would have loved to see him come back on something else… kawi or Yamaha woulda been cool to see

    So,... KTM's top rider was Ryan Dungey,.. and they couldn't convince him($?$?$) to compete again this year? Look at the Craig's and the Tomac's, and Roczen's. Yes it's a difficult life traveling like that, busy almost every moment. But, ordinary life SUQ'S by comparison!!!!

    Do another one called "The Time RD went back into retirement" when he got a reality check, he did great and made the right move to go back to the couch, iMo...... The family is more important, they don't want D@D in a wheelchair...

      7 years off and was consistently running top 5. Your a dumb fuck and you know nothing.

    • @snowzZzZz
      @snowzZzZz Месяц назад

      reality check? Carmichael was racing Loretta’s 5 years after he retired. To be this competitive against the best in the world 5 years after retirement is insane. He far exceeded his own and other people’s expectations and I was never a huge fan of him when he raced. It had to have been a bit embarrassing for some of the other riders. I am happy to see him at home though he doesn’t need to risk his life for this anymore.

      Prime dungey and prime villopoto would wipe the whole field. Crazy how a guy can come from 7 years off and run right with them. Sport hasn’t progressed since villo and dungey
