@@Roger.Tit’s all a process. Jett went through the same thing Deegan is right now too. So far…. He’s answering the bell. Just like Jett year two of SX he’s learning how to manage a season long championship fight. He’s learning how to actually perform when he has to. I haven’t seen another 250 rider since Jett be this good and get the job done like deegan has. That’s why people are talking about him challenging Jett. It’s the logical next step. Like you said though he still has a long road ahead of him and many things have to go right for that day to come. I think the kid will deliver though. He has so far and at a berg young age.

The opening clip of him doing a wheelie from the very outside while turning to the left during moto two at Ironman was dope! I’ve seen him do that before and you don’t see many other riders have that kind of control. The kid is one hell of a competitor and that’s what I love to watch. He’s young and he’s learning how to manifest results. Which is what creates a champion. At this level, almost everyone is extremely good. The ones that learn to perform in the heat of the moment are the ones who thrive past the pack. You could see Jett learn the same thing year two and three in 250 SX and I think that’s what we will continue to see with Deegan.

A very well done short film! As a 58 year old former mx'er, I have followed the Deegan journey for 2.5 years now. I came about their videos by accident one day and have been addicted ever since. Generational talent is inspirational to watch. Watching a competitor that has a natural and obvious advantage over the best in the business at their craft is a gift for everyone. They inspire. They motivate. And they deserve the admiration of those that know and follow the sport that we gave blood and bone for. Congratulations to this young man and his family. And here's to many more years watching him race!

@@charlesshort4287 Having the nicer stuff and money doesn't "sometimes make it happen" you cant buy talent no if ands or buts about it. Fast rider on a slow bike is always faster than a slow rider on a fast bike. You can buy the resources to help you practice and prefect your form but it will never buy you skill or raw talent, just an irrefutable fact. You can tell yourself that all you want if it makes you feel better about your situation and your feelings about a kid who didn't ask to be born as Brian Deegan's son lol but that doesn't necessarily make it true considering there are many many people across many different motorsports even outside of moto who have made it big time while coming from absolutely nothing. Making comments about something the kid had no tangible control over just makes you seem bitter and jealous if anything lol

4:18 in, and i just want to comment already. i just want to say, I have been watching this sport since Brian vs Travis in FMX, since Jeremy Mcgrath was on a Honda, (i was 7) i watched mcgrath vs emig, i watched mcgrath vs ricky, i watched ricky vs stewart, i watched chad vs stewart... when i became a teen/young adult, i kinda drifted away from this sport. due to, adulting.. and life.. i missed the dungey era.. i watched here n there, caught a glimpse of the RV domination, and the eli start to his career... i started to tune in more around 2019/2020.... but Haiden Deegan is the reason why i will never miss another moto ever again. qualifying, practice, moto, nothing. i will miss nothing. for the rest of my life. Haiden Deegan IS my favorite rider of all time, and Haiden Deegan will go down as the GOAT. sit back and WATCH it happen! The money thing is always hilarious to me. In the 90s my cousin was like 4th in the nation on 85s and just had one bike his dad worked on during the weeks with like a $500 weekly salary. The kid smoked all those rich kids every singke week. Hung right in there with Malcolm in Michigan one weekend and we're just backwoods Tennessee hillbillies. If it wasn't for the mega crash he 100% would've went pro and at least been a top 10 rider. Money buys nice bikes but you put me, just an average rider, on deegans bike and put my cousin on a damn 110 and he smokes me 10/10 times. Haiden was bound for greatness with money or not

Well made video about an amazing family. Starting with Brian who has been through a lot himself and now is there with Haiden everyday while he is putting in work. They put in the work to be champions and they are getting the results. I would love to see Haiden get two, 250 Supercross championship titles before moving to the 450's. Although that is probably not in the cards and Haiden is more than capable of being a top 5 rider in the 450 class now. I would just like to see Haiden get a little bigger and hone his own style just a little more. Brian, keep doing what you do with your family and I love how you keep them all grounded. You have come a long way from the Metal Mulisha days, but we all know if it wasn't for those days I am sure I would not be making this post. So with that said, Well done Brian and the whole Deegan family!!!!! Keep doing what y'all do and what we love!!

Growing up BMX and I just was fascinated with dirt bikes as a kid my dad didn't give two S about them but for some reason it's been in my blood. Brian is a bad A Dad and I enjoy Who he has become, I watched him from his beginning. Great Video

Such a class act family. You can throw all the money and support at anyone, if the don’t have the work ethic, will, and grit it won’t matter. Haters are just jealous. Faith Family Freedom!

Great documentary. Watching him come from amateur to pro and when Brian made him walk that KTM back and tell them he was going to Yamaha and him mom saying she was going to take his keys , just everything they have done to lift him up yet keep him grounded and his desire to perform has made him the man he is. He has the potential to be named among the greatest riders whenever he is finished with competition. 🤘

Hayden, Deegans, you are the epitome of family and The American Dream!!
Whether the kids had some family money backing, it's more than obvious Brian and Melissa worked their asses off to give their children an opportunity. They haven't taken this for granted but worked their own asses off to become great themselves.
Anyone thinking they're unappreciative, spoiled rich kids is a moron.
You are the definition of Family and American everyone should strive for.
Kick Ass Deegans! I'm always cheering!

  • @ryanw7075

I knew this kid had it all the way back on 85s just because of his incredible fast learning curve and you could see his dedication in his riding. Just so naturally gifted on a dirt bike and I'm not surprised that he's achieved what he already has. What will surprise me is if he can get as good as jet and consistently beat him when he moves to 450s. I won't be surprised if he's a contender against him but will be if he ends up better than him. Saying that, I know its possible for him because he's on the path to it but jet is at the peak of our sport where I don't know if there's much more mountain to work with speed wise. Obviously more titles is possible and how many you can get before you retire but speed wise we will see if haiden can get to that peak when the time comes. Also, Having only 1ish guy at that peak isn't very entertaining to watch from a fan stand point because you can almost always predict the winner every race and your betting on 2nd 3rd and 4th really. Battles is what makes this sport really entertaining to watch and We need more talent in the 450s like haiden to make the premier class of our sport how it should be again.. I really hope he can rise to the occasion and make that happen. Now even saying that, haiden has blown the doors off the entertaining level of the 250 class bringing that class to a level it hasn't ever really seen. He wasent soooo dominant like jet in 450s but just that right amount of mixed dominance that was soo entertaining to watch. He definatly has what it takes early on like you need to have to get to that level and I hope he gets there and shows that its possible to climb higher on that mountain, and jams that American flag right on the top of that mofo.

I predicted Deegs would win in his first year in mx, and people laughed at me, and he won 2 O/A. At the end of his second year, Deegs has 12 O/A 15 moto wins and 16 podiums, 1 mx championships, and 2 smx championships. And Deegs thrives off the haters, which is awesome. They just make him work harder and get better.
Now they are saying he can't beat Jett, but mark my words. Deegs will beat Jett.

    • @nardinouchris9622

Il battra Jett , mais Lucas Coenen va les atomiser tous les deux . Il est beaucoup , beaucoup plus rapide à seulement 17 ans . Coenen , c'est Bob Hannah avec plus de technique , de souplesse , de vitesse .
