  • Chase Sexton made his ascent to the summit of Supercross racing faster than most, with the 24-year-old already boasting both the 2019 and 2020 250 East Regional Supercross Championships and the 2023 premier class 450 Supercross Championship to his name. While his emergence as a championship contender at the highest level of our sport hasn't come without a great deal of scrutiny, expectation, and setbacks, there can be no doubting the talent and unstoppable determination that this bright young star brings to our sport.
    Our latest film Unyielding: Virtues of a Champion brings us a first-hand look at what it takes to navigate the rise to superstardom as an up-and-coming dirt bike racer. For Chase Sexton, that journey has been anything but easy. With appearances from both of Chase's parents, Kelly and Keir Sexton, as well as Chase himself, the film delves into the different kinds of trials and challenges he's faced along the way, highlighting the importance of keeping his family around and involved in his racing program, and ensuring that he never loses the integrity and good morals that he was raised with that have helped him become the great young man that he is today. We also sit down with Chase's high-performance trainer Peter Park, a man who has typically kept a low profile in industry circles, to discover firsthand the rigorous fitness regime and training principles that have guided Chase and helped him become one of the most physically impressive athletes to ever line up on the gate.
    Here at Alpinestars, we could not be more proud to be part of Chase Sexton's program and ongoing success. A brilliant racer and athlete, an inspiring and determined man, and most importantly, a champion both on and off the bike. We hope you enjoy the film and we look forward to the many years ahead with Chase and his family flying the Alpinestars flag.
    Created, directed, and edited by Dominick Russo.
    Secondary camera and footage by Chad Murray.
    Special thanks to the Sexton family, Peter Park, Chris Onstott, and KTM Factory Racing.

    I feel like Chase has the most haters in our sport. It’s so odd. He has insane work ethic and drive. Gives it his all every race! What more can you ask for? Yeah he makes mistakes, because he’s not content unless he is winning.
    Chase if you read this, you may think you were an underdog growing up, but we knew you had “it”. You were always the youngest in the class waxing us with perfect technique!

    I want Chase to do well so bad. He's so talented, such a good, well-adjusted kid. So much more humble than those Lawrence boys. Nothing against them, but Chase is just different in such a special way. I'm rooting for you, man! Believe in yourself. YOU ARE the most talented rider out there. You deserve this!

      Why is he more humble then the Lawrence boys, this I want to hear.

    • @ScottPaulConley
      @ScottPaulConley Год назад

      @aus-rider typical response from an Aussie. "In general," like the English, y'all think you're better than us. Their dad talked about how Aussie's have so much pride, and we learn "x" from being aussie, and aussie animals can't walk backwards, so that's our mentality. But it's not just that stuff. Little things like the trash talk Jett did to Jordan Smith(i think) who cut off hunter mid air over the bridge jump, when hunter is just as dirty. Not a good example, and I apologize that I can't think of more right now, but they just really come across as fake and hypocritical. Maybe I'm just a jealous, stupid American, but they just don't come across as genuine. More genuine is Ken Roczen, and he's not American. Like that BS jett did and let Ken by. I had no problem with that as a former racer.....let him by try to learn, pass him back, play with his head....but don't get on the podium and act like you did it as a gift....that's fake! That's BS.

    • @ScottPaulConley
      @ScottPaulConley Год назад +1

      @aus-rider a humble Jett would have said he let Ken by because he knew Ken had his number and wanted to either play it safe or just try to learn from him or try to f**k with his head....whatever....but the "I'm better than everyone, but want to play like I don't act like it," Jett said it was a gift.....that's not humble. Chase wouldn't say BS like that.

    I would argue that, aside from his family, I’m his biggest fan. I always tell people how obvious it is that Chase is a GOOD PERSON. You can see it in him so easily. He is a class act through and through. He’s humble, kind, incredibly talented and obviously such a hard worker. It’s mind blowing to me when people hate on him. He gave my 5 year old daughter his jersey at Redbud this past summer and it absolutely made her entire life. lol. She lights up anytime she gets to watch him race and cheers for him like crazy. Sadly this SX season she is with her dad every race we are close to, and she’s SUPER bummed, but she will be counting down the days until Redbud. I’ll always be a huge fan of Chase. I like plenty of riders, but none even remotely close to how much I like Chase. His parents obviously did a WONDERFUL job raising him.

Either way, the way he won the championship last year just doesn’t sit right with me. People can justify it all they want on why it was legit and I’m sure a lot of it is probably true. But it still just doesn’t feel right if you know what I mean. I’m still happy for him though, he’s a good dude and a hell of a competitor. I’d be more than happy to take that back if he can cement himself another championship.
