First 3 min in u can tell it’s going be comedy gold. Wishing nothing but the best and speedy recovery for Bruce . If or When he rewatches this episode he’s going laugh and thank Conrad for carrying him through this episode. Again thanks Bruce and Conrad . Get well Bruce
One thing about Armageddon 2000 that I've always wondered about is the "lost" Billy Gunn post-match interview. On the live broadcast, Gunn was interviewed by Michael Cole out in the arena right after losing to Chris Benoit. For some reason, the interview was removed on the VHS release of the show from early-2001. WWE Network uses the same edit, cutting from Benoit leaving to the next segment.
I have enjoyed Bruce since Houston. I am one of the fortunate ones who through my travels I was able to see Bruce and many others throughout my lifetime. From Paul Bosch’s ear ring commercial, Dory Funks envolvment with the boys ranch in Amarillo, Dusty, the Vonericks Freebirds and many others. I wasn’t loyal to one territory but all of them because I enjoy wrestling of all factions that we know today. I listen to four podcast of course something to wrestle with, along with Jim Cornett, Arn, Good Ole Jr. to me you guys are the wrestling history guru’s thank you for continuously entertaining us. And Conrad thank you for your passion and bringing us these programs. Feel free to use my comments with the others
I was at the event and I couldn't tell they were 200 seats under capacity. It looked packed in there and the crowd was electric. Aside from the under card, which was still strong compared to today, the upper card was one of the most impressive I remember of all WWE ppvs. The main event especially with the biggest names in the business. The only one I would have replaced was Rikishi with either Kane or Jericho. If that had happened it would be my top PPV main event ever. To Rikishi's credit, he was actually the most impressive with the bump he took. Angle retaining the title was depressing.
@@Rschr101 I agree and for me this is when the Attitude Era died. Everyone says it was at Wrestlemania X7 but this was the last PPV that did not have WCW talent shoehorned in.
I remember the HHH/Angle/Steph love triangle angle just stopping with no conclusion is where a lot of my friends who became casual fans during the nWo/Attitude Era finally stopped watching.
This is comedy gold. Bruce is messed up out his mind. I know it is because he had surgery. He probably took pain killers prior to recording. I hope he watches this show back with a clear head. Good job carrying the show Conrad. I’m wishing Bruce a speedy recovery and I hope his physical therapy goes well. Keep up the great work gents.
@@thickerconstrictor9037 that is your opinion. I’m sure for every person who agrees with you, there are more who disagrees with you. Happy Holidays, and god bless.
lol 29:18 that's a Telehandler mate. Must be decent sized to pick up about 1.8t with boom telescoped out that much on an angle even with front outriggers.
Currently re-watching this era, and what I noticed is that after Russo left, there were less “swerves bro” that led to less erratic, more coherent storylines….other than Mae Young giving birth to a hand, lol.
Less swerves? Less erratic? Steph joins HHH who drxxged her and forced her to marry him. Vince joins HHH and Steph at WM 2000. Rikishi hit Austin for The Rock, but HHH is the mastermind. Austin and HHH joins forces after trying to off end each other's lives. Foley loses a career match, but is allowed to come back and compete in the WM main event. The Judgment Day 2000 main event ending
Now I feel bad for Bruce and I don't know if it was the right thing for them to do this show, but goddamn, this was some of the most hilarious stuff I've ever seen from them
This was an interesting time for my Fandom cause when hardcore tv stopped running in December 2000 I kinda lost interest in wrestling til Brock showed up
Holy shit did they talk about anything in 2000? Lmao they mention 1999 and 2001 but fuck me 45min in and nothing from 2000. Edit- hey look they just mentioned survivor series 2000 lol
Around this time Stephanie took over Creative, and you can see the gradual decline in the quality of the product from here. If not for the amazing roster, Austin, Rock, Angle...the show was doomed when they put the title on HHH and let him beat everybody in 2002 onward.
The fact that Bruce was able to do 2 plus hours of show is quite commendable
Yeah, that surgery sucks. I still have issues with my bicep, and shoulder.
The fcuk you mean by that?
@@DavidJohns-e5b he just had surgery
😂😂😂
Because you can talk for 2 hours ? Do you think shoulder surgery stops someone from talking ? Lmao
2hr podcast while zonked out on meds is always fun times
Starts at 17:34
Road to Armageddon 22:12
Takers Pants 23:32
Tribute to the Troops 2023 24:28
Show Time 1:13:40
Show Begins 1:51:11
Thanks bro
@2:00. My momma (R.I.P.) had that same exact setup for her shoulder when she separated it.
I absolutely love Bruce and the show but seeing Silva sing the Michaels song was the best Christmas present I've got yet!😅
barf

You just unlocked a memory lol because I had this on vhs back in the day
I recorded the PPV live. I remember that interview vividly. Basically Billy stated after the loss that no one has seen the last of Billy Gunn.
Amazing the network would rather show more of Benoit than Billy Gunn😂

Buzzed Bruce is awesome! 😂 He should pop a few before every episode.
Bruce sounding like Dusty describing that Snake they used to make Undertakers snake skin pants in that Kurt Angle match was comedy gold
Great shit pal

Only 200 seats ? That’s nothing
Best match of 2000.

Loyal listener since podcast episode 3…first 5 minutes are the funniest f*cking thing this show has ever done! 😂 I can’t breathe!
glad to see they finally went to video like something else to wrestle with
A new episode?
It's a Christmas Miracle!!
Doot Doot Doot
Bruce is absolutely buckled out of his mind 🤣
lol fr. if you increase the playback speed to 1.25 bruce talks normally
Dude, i sped it up and youre exactly right. Lol Ole Brucey is high as a kite.@@gwantana
He’s sounding like Jerry Jarrett
Bruce looked like Mankind hunched over in the beginning there lol
I remember the HHH/Angle/Steph love triangle angle just stopping with no conclusion is where a lot of my friends who became casual fans during the nWo/Attitude Era finally stopped watching.
Thank Stephanie taking over Creative around this time for that. Beginning of the end.
Lol that storyline was straight AIDs so I can't relate

Where do I get that device Bruce was wearing lol. Him explaining that was priceless. Bruce never disappoints in these videos lol
I’ve had that same surgery. It really does suck!
The only ppv were vince cared about they might be injured
Was Bruce doing a circa 1997 Shawn Michaels impression?
this really could be the single greatest roster of talent in the history of wrestling 🤔 just absolutely over stuffed with A+ talent!
Shame the Creative went in the toilet around this time when Stephanie took over.
lol 29:18 that's a Telehandler mate. Must be decent sized to pick up about 1.8t with boom telescoped out that much on an angle even with front outriggers.

Went downhill quick when Steph took over Creative in November 2000
I want to see Bruce’s reaction to this when he’s a bit more coherent 🤣
Bruce High as shit Great job my guy
I wipe my ass with my opposite hand. Guess I have talent 😂
This was the podcast equivalent to Victory Road '11
Now I feel bad for Bruce and I don't know if it was the right thing for them to do this show, but goddamn, this was some of the most hilarious stuff I've ever seen from them
A couple other people trusted Benoit with their body and look how that turned out. Conrad paused, he didnt want to touch that one.
My mom has the same ice machine for her knee replacement
Armapooten 2000: Something to Poop w/ Bruce Prichard
Bruce Pritchard should be in the Hall of Fame
Bruce rules all.
What happened to all the old shows? Why are they unavailable?
Lita looked great here damn

My mans confidence on sexy boy is admirable. Id follow him into battle

Bruce is FUUUUUUUUKD UP! Lol😂😂😂😂😂
Is it worth watching? I’m 5 min in and Bruce is F’d up.
was not a fan of the way austin went at steph like that but it is what it is
Pretty clear Bruce is fucked up on Percocet.
How high is Bruce?
Bruce got them happy pills😂😂😂

Hang on, was Meltzer wrong again 😂
Bruce sounds pilled up. JK.
Lol
Bruce and Conrad need to do better. 30 minutes into the show, and they are now discussing the title of the show 🤦
It’s because Bruce is so F-d up and Conrad knows it makes great content to start the show lmao.
@Ghost-304 I don't think so, just get to the title of the fcking show
Dude shut up and press fast forward ffs.
It doesn't get much better than this, press the fast forward button if you don't like it.
Least they aren't talking AEW😂
