Great video! Now, fast forward to the moment when August is sitting watching his parents share this with much joy, gratitude, and love. That's beautiful! 💙.......RIP Boone! 🙏🏽
Such a sweet video. So happy for the whole family. Happy Boone made a little cameo. It’s wonderful Boone got to meet August. It’s great that you guys were able to adjust your birth plan. My hubby and I had to do the same. And everything was perfect💕Much love to all of you.
Such a gift (this video)… August will love watching this one day. Favorite moment: towards the end when you two are gazing at one another in silence with this little mensch in Dave’s arms as Mom’s glowing smile fills the space around da boyz.
You guys! I relived both my babies births. You prepared so well, and adapted when you needed. I am almost 60. A doctor. Was the hardest thing..and the most wonderful thing ever. You both did so well.
Oh my goodness, the brain in the first few months after birth is jello…I can so relate. I am so happy your baby and Boone got to meet. You two are a beautiful couple and all three of you are blessed to be loved by each other.
This is a wonderful vlog. It’s making me recall all three of my children. So many memories. The hospital for the first two had doulas on staff what a godsend.
Absolutely beautiful 😍 thank you so much for sharing with us! I am so sorry for your loss of Boone, I’m so glad he got to meet baby brother August 💙 sending so much love and so many hugs 🫶🏽🫶🏽💕
I love this! Thank you so much for sharing with all of us! Yes, the worry starts the minute you know you're pregnant and doesn't stop (my oldest daughter is about your age), but so does the joy, the laughter, the hope, and the LOVE!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful birth story. I think most of us moms relive our own stories as you go through all the stages. So sorry for your loss of Boone.
I’m like 2 minutes in and this is already so therapeutic. E and I are inching towards the next stage in our lives and I’m just in the process of gathering any and all information I can. So hearing all these words from you two is encouraging and exciting. Yay!! Yay baby August!!
I have been VERY scared about the idea of birth… I really didn’t think I wanted kids for that reason for a long time and it’s been weighing on me a lot lately… but watching thie video… all I can think about is how excited I am to experience this with my significant other. Thank you SO much for sharing this beautiful story❤❤
Wow. I've got the warm fuzzies. How wonderful to be able to share in your joy and wonder at this beautiful little soul. Love this so much. Sweet sweet sweet little family. God bless you all! 💝
i was (very happily!) alone in our bath at home for about 12 hours during early labour. My partner was trying to get some sleep in the living room. All I needed was the hot water and solitude at that stage! Havent finished listening yet but loving hearing about your experience! x
Tasha and Dave - Thanks so much for sharing this! We had our first baby in February 2024. Your video was so real. I felt myself nodding and agreeing constantly. Tasha, when you said something to the nature of "we have never done anything like this before," I was like YEP! Felt the same way! Also, when you mentioned the car ride and not being able to get comfortable/thinking you were going to have the baby in the car, that was me in our bathroom in labor and delivery. We were induced, but after my water broke, the only way I was comfortable was on all fours on the bathroom floor. Lol. I couldn't articulate how I was feeling, so my husband wisely called the nurse, and then I got an epidural! I also don't even remember what the anesthesiologist looked like! Congratulations on your sweet boy!
All newborns are needy…thank goodness! And they should not be left to cry, as some people say. He is technically in his 4th trimester. You can look that up. And this is from an old lady follower of some podcaster. 😉😊 God bless you, August, and your beautiful family. 🙌🙏🏻
What a beautiful story. You just about had me in tears. That was the best birthing video I have seen. Great job Tasha and Dave! It was so special to see Boone one more time and yes, I did start to cry seeing him. 🤗❤👶❤👼❤🚼❤🍼
Such a beautiful video! My husband and i were the same way! We got married on our 1 year dating anniversary! We were pregnant with our daughter 3 months later! 😮 We thought it would take much longer to get pregnant than it did! We had our daughter then bought property 40 acres, then we started building our house with a 3 month old! 😊 life hits ya fast! Here we are, 2 kids, 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 4 rescue kitten's. The kids are 8 and 5 now! 😢😢
I’m glad to see y’all doing things together. Jess and Gabriel conte are in Nashville as well. They have their own RUclips website and Jess concentrates mainly on her children and right now I think she’s pregnant. With her second child. You should try to get in touch!
I just love this… my son is turning seven today he’s the baby I always saw in my dreams a perfect angel… I’ve been crying off and on, so grateful I have the opportunity to experience the love and work of parenthood he is my everything!
Having birthed 3 sons naturally, the water not breaking until late in the process is the best. During my second delivery, my membranes were stripped…the contractions were far more intense than the first and third deliveries when my water broke just before delivery. I was in labor 12.5 hours, 2.5 hours, and 1.5 hours with my 3 deliveries. My first was a planned home birth delivery, the second a hospital delivery, and the third a birthing clinic delivery. I found out all worked well. 😊 Also, congratulations on your sweet little boy! Augie is adorable and you are both very good parents. ❤
Such a beautiful video, filled with special memories for you & Tasha, to let Auggie see in the future 🥰💝❣ Congrats & wishing many blessings for your family in the future❣💥👨👩👦🎉🎉🎉
I had my son about three weeks before you guys! I couldn’t imagine going through all those extra changes on top of having a baby. So happy you both seem stronger and united despite all the challenges! I was praying for you guys throughout the bogus court case. Of course these things happen at your most vulnerable. But look at you thriving anyways! God bless you both and baby August. Love from 🇨🇦
All of this reminds me of all my feelings for my first, the way I prep, the birth plan etc. second one happen SO FAST truly all the stressor I had I didn’t even think twice for my second. Pushed for hours for my first and with 2 pushes my second came out 😬 I’m soo excited for August sibling ❤ Enjoy every moment
Tasha and Dave, thanks so much for sharing your story! I loved hearing all of it! I’m about to have a baby in a couple weeks and I was really curious how the hypnobirthing worked for you. Thanks for being so open. ❤
As a mom who just gave birth to my second baby in March, these birth stories never get old. I tear up every time! Congratulations on your growing tribe. 🥰 And Tasha, I’m sure you’ve heard this before, but it’s true…that second baby comes quick and so much easier!! 😉
I loved every second of this!! You two are both so sweet with him, and he's just precious!! ❤❤❤ Also, I don't think I've ever heard Dave speak so quietly! 😊
I was 5 cm dilated minutes before I pushed out my second baby. I remember those shakes. I knew that I was super close, despite what the nurses thought. They were really surprised, finding me starting to gutturally push while I was in the shower. They checked me in the shower and sternly told me to “get out of the shower now! The baby is crowning!” I made it to my birth stool and pushed only twice (special purchase for baby number 2 after I experienced it at the first facility). Baby comes when they come! If you do go for another baby, it’s a lot easier the second time. The first time it felt like I was pushing out a ginormous watermelon and ripped so much. Wow, no tears! You’re a pro! Those could little baby noises are the best 🤗
My partner said when they asked him to cut the umbilical cord, he didn't really want to, but felt like he had to man up and do it. He thought it was going to be like butter, but it was not. It sort of grossed him out, lol. I got an epidural, but it only worked for 40 minutes and then I felt everything. It took an hour to get the epidural and he poked me over 20 times. I have a really messed up back. I love the name August. He is so precious. Congratulations on the greatest love!
Tasha! You're a Rockstar! Both times I was induced, I couldn't imagine laboring at home or in the car 😅 I didn't realize how spoiled I was! Augie is the cutest little bean! 😍 And Boones' barks! 🥺 He was telling Dave, you better take care of my girl 🥰
Love birth stories. I still remember all 3 of mine and my youngest is 29! I don’t drink, but anyone that does I challenge you to a drinking game for every time you hear Tasha say “like”😂😂😂😂😂!
Our son was born in 86. We only have a few photos. We were young, and when you're having fun with your kiddo, we never thought about grabbing the camera. ❤
Hi Tasha! May I ask what made you decide to have the epidural? I can imagine when you're in labour in a hospital setting and they offer it to you, it would be so easy to just say YES!! Did they know you were ideally hoping to have an unmedicated birth? that ol' "cascade of interventions" can sneak up on you sooo easily in hospital. At the end of it all, as long as you felt empowered and like a goddess... that's all that matters! Welcome to Mamahood! ♥ And welcome earthside, little one. Augie is absolutely perfect.xx
24:00 feeling good and cheering to go in doesn’t sound like 4:1:2 😅 as I finish typing and she says doula saying doesn’t sound like it’s time yet 😅😅 when it’s time you aren’t cheering 😅😅 Tasha I did the same thing in my tub from 3am to about 1pm while hubby slept and he brought me meals to the tub (breakfast & lunch) e went to hospital at 4pm and had baby at midnight ❤ that was the first baby. 2nd baby was born within 4hrs from water break 😅
My parents are divorced and I would have LOVED to watch a video like this about when I was born. It would’ve been so nice to see them during that blissful time bc I never really got to see that growing up
When I hear you talk about not having the diaper bag packed, you are my people! Haha I know this well!! Im now 3 deep and my best tip is a pack of wipes, a few diapers in a ziplock and toss them in the car. One Christmas with #2 we needed a make shift diaper to get home, no open stores! it’s a funny memory for our family probably not our 8 year old haha I liked to chalk it up to nursing moms who aren’t doing the formula check and we miss the regular/daily checks!
Such a beautiful story. I love how you look at each other❣️ So glad that Boone made an appearance, I know that you must miss him so much 💔
Great video! Now, fast forward to the moment when August is sitting watching his parents share this with much joy, gratitude, and love. That's beautiful! 💙.......RIP Boone! 🙏🏽

I’m SO glad to see Boone in this video 🥺🫶
Thank you for sharing this!! I felt like I was in the room with you guys. Love hearing Boone chime in!
Such a gift (this video)… August will love watching this one day. Favorite moment: towards the end when you two are gazing at one another in silence with this little mensch in Dave’s arms as Mom’s glowing smile fills the space around da boyz.
I love seeing August in place of Amazon boxes🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰. He is precious!

That’s great that you were able to watch, Dave. My husband helped from above, but he didn’t want to look below, haha!
I’m like 2 minutes in and this is already so therapeutic. E and I are inching towards the next stage in our lives and I’m just in the process of gathering any and all information I can. So hearing all these words from you two is encouraging and exciting. Yay!! Yay baby August!!
Thanks for sharing. It’s really fun to see your introduction into parenthood and the joy you both feel. I love the silliness of Dave too. 😂
So precious. Thanks for sharing Augie with us.
Thank you so much for sharing this- what a beautiful birth story.

Thanks for sharing your birth story! You have been blessed with an adorable baby boy!
I’ve learned that you can plan all you want for a baby, and yet no matter what, you still feel like you aren’t prepared.

Thank you for sharing your experiences. Loved listening to your story. The background music is lovely.
I enjoyed every minute watching this with happy tears. ❤️

I agree with this. They cry because it's the only way they can tell you they need something
He is really looking at everything and takin it in. He's super smart!!
What a beautiful story. You just about had me in tears. That was the best birthing video I have seen. Great job Tasha and Dave! It was so special to see Boone one more time and yes, I did start to cry seeing him. 🤗❤👶❤👼❤🚼❤🍼
Mama Tasha moved SO quick when he cried🥹 I KNEW she would be the best mother of all time ❤❤
This is a beautiful birth story! 😊😢 all the feels.
The best part is near the end .. when Dave said “and he choose us” 💙💙
