Turbocharging My Neighbours 190e!

- This is J's 190e, with plans of becoming a beast of a car we begin to turbocharge the stock m103 2.6. The car came with manual transmission from factory which is a good ground to build a fun project. The 190e is already lowered with some tasteful mods on the inside and outside.
The plan is to strip all the original "make it work" stuff and add new EFI conversion, using EMU Black and custom wiring done by me.
The next step is...well you will have to wait for that.

What do you mean by crank reading and schematics? The thaco output is multiplied by 3 on emu black.

Thank you! I think it got messed up during rendering as it was turned down for all the speaking parts. But no useful information lost anyway. Just a rant about wire placing 😂

By the way, where or how are you going to grab the cam/crank trigger signal?
@@Wookieboner I have built a 60-2 trigger wheel that is welded to the front pulley, then a hall sensors is reading out of that. And we are not gonna run a cam sensor for now. Although you can buy the kit that bolts on the front of the engine and uses the distributor cap and rotor standard mount points. In our case is manual. If you have the stock 4 speed auto you don't have to do anything if you keep the original throttle body and add TPS sensor to it. As long the Bowden cable is in place the gearbox will work as it should.
Nice job! Thanks for video! Is the motor harness on 190 longer lasting then on W124 cars from the 90-ths? On my E220 I used to repair it twice because of short piece of the harness near the ECU was kept untouched first time...And what does vvti mean on m103 motor? Just curious.
Thank you! The 190e never had the biodegradable wiring loom so it's better. The m103 is single cam engine so no vvti. I added the vvti plug on this wiring harness as the harness later will be transferred to m104 which is dual cam engine with adjustable inlet cam.

Hello, we use modified m104 fuel rail. 670cc for turbo build and Bosch throttle body dbw.
