This typical solution in video is not working for my Windows 11 issue.
Windows 11 for unknown reason (maybe hidden shortcut) can set the volume setting only for specific App and it can be muted per App.
My solution: In Windows 11 right click on Sound icon (bottom right) -> Open Volume Mixer -> Apps Tabs: Google Chrome (only Chrome exists) and see if it is MUTED, then click Reset or unmute it.

I just downloaded some app that SAYS it has a very high ammount of different voicechangers on my pc from chrome, when i downloaded it, sound stopped playing on google chrome, how do i fix it??? edit: nvm i just went into normal settings, sound, i had it on the "voice changer" device instead of the "speaker" device lol

Simple Solution:
1. Open the Control Panel → Sound → Speakers → Advanced
2. Un-check "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device"
3. Open Volume Mixer
4. Unmute Chrome

I fixed my problem. On the taskbar where you control sound it says i am using Realtek speakers.
1. Go to Sound Settings - Advanced Sound Options
2. check if Chrome settings in dropdown says Default
3. Then change to Realtek.
