Slight Correction : 1:05 Lidia's cat stance 4 cannot be punished by 15f on block if she CANCELS out of the stance. Can only be punished with 14f n faster
1:05 a mistake here, her 4 from cat is -14 punishable, if you hold back in wolf stance she can cancel the stance faster so she is able to block i15 moves there

Shes gonna need some buffs in this game, she doesnt have the poke game she needs and her lows are garbage compared to so many other characters. Like she would have been fine in tekken 7 but this is ain't that game
If that's what you want to do then Drag's 1,2,1 is much better. You can CH confirm so that it's safe if you didn't catch them, and on hit the full string is a HE and a wall splat. You can also use Law's jab HE string the same way, or Mishima flash punches or Steve's or Bears' G Clef Cannon or... Yeah there are a lot of options
Picked her up, I thought she would be good as the same counter part in T7 boy I was so wrong, her unblockable setup after a stance is now gone, and most of her neutral tools for doing mind games is gone as well, stance frames are much more nerfed and her overall poke game is damn garbage, 3,2 for example it is duckable now its even steppable goddamn. Well atleast I already labbed her ass the whole day, fun combos and animations but lackluster tools. Just gonna learn other characters lmao

And the move is actually better than t7 cos it's now 15f on startup instead 17f like t7. Yes her pokes are lacking but the devs want u to make use of heat more IMO. @JojimboFeenix Yes that's a problem if it actually downgrades how her gameplay now works. I agree that characters especially in a newer Tekken series should now require effort to actually play with and I'm not denying anything regarding that. My concern is specifically about how the nerfs have really impacted her playstyle and enjoyment from the matchups, in T7 her tools and stance gameplay were what made her engaging cause you can't mindlessly jab your way out to escape her 50/50 stances. The changes in T8 including the removal of her fun setups and frame nerfs to her stance is what made feel like her versatility went down, I'm not whining that she should be easy, but rather I miss the aspects that made her enjoyable and engaging to play. It's more about the loss of what made her actually unique to play against. Now that everything has been buffed down, her gimmicks are more readable and telegraphed now.

@JojimboFeenix Idk if i’d say she just requires some work per say, like if you compare her to the rest of the cast she’s really struggling the force stances force her to really play super safe and nearly perfect until she gets into heat i think overall she’s fine as a character however, getting blown up for moves that are minus 8 because of forced stance changes is kinda lame. like it makes her frame data very misleading and when you look at some tools the other characters have and some of the bs they get away with it’s kinda shocking how they let her launch with such massive flaw

What? Why are you finishing the string on block? Just do 1,2 and stop there if you see them blocking it. Then you're just -3. Plenty of i10 mid ending strings are super unsafe, like flash punches or Drag's heat engager. Lidia's is great as long as you're not playing badly.

Sometimes you must have got your timing wrong n late on a -10 punish and just end up finishing the string when you thought u had the punish. And it's not like d Mishima flash combo where u can hit confirm the last hit. The alternative 10f punish 1,4 is only +1 on hit, that's a really bad punish
