Fruit and rice for pudding😅
Beans beans good for the heart the more you fart
Curry
Canned foods never expire unless they are rusty or swollen.
No one should ever eat expired canned tomato anything for the danger of getting botulism.
Quality decreases but safe if seal intact
@@faithelizabeth7304not true. It’s sealed under heated pressure. It’s fine. Ask the LDS Church
Correct only if rusted or swollen throw away
Food pantries will take canned food several years after the expiration. I would still consider it safe.
Dude . Honey NEVER. Expires. That bucket is probably $200
Remember Best Buy date and expiration are two different things. Beans, sugar, rice etc are good forever unless packaging is damaged
Best by date on canned food does not not mean expired. It can still be good years past the best by date.
except tomato, never eat expired tomato or beans due to botulism
Surprised they weren't some toilet paper to go with all those high fiber beans 😂
😂 I know that’s surprised me too. I would be stocking up on toilet paper. I’m a single person when I still stock up on toilet paper.😂
Honey is nature's purest foods. NEVER expires.
Donate to food bank. Ok. You did. Brilliant. That giving will come back in many ways of kindness to you & fam.
I worked in a food processing plant and those are the best by dates as long as the cans are not open they are still good
Wade this unit is worth many thousands of dollars. You should keep it for your family. Someday we will all need it.
@gloriaburton1494 yes Wade worth thousands!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would have at least kept one rice, salt, flour, sugar…those are every day essentials
This storage unit would be a life saver for an entire family!! It would sustain them maybe for years, if they ration it. ❤❤❤the best $2,000 anyone will ever spend on a unit as far as I'm concerned. You can even live in the unit for shelter. The cans should last as long as the can is not damaged, far beyond the expiration date. ❤❤❤great video guys😂
Wade and Ashley you are such good people for donating all this food.
Wade and Ashley!!!!!! That is tons of $$$$$$ worth of GOOD food.
Salt NEVER expires!
No matter what the expiration date is!
The buckets and packages of freeze dried and dehydrated with professional labels are all long term storage and cost $$$. Hope you saved that for your pantry.
What you got there will be considered a gold mine in the very very near future. If you know, you know.
I know!
You’re right! Plus considering how grocery prices have skyrocketed, they were smart! If you notice the dates “suggested best by dates” not expired..and these foods are still edible!
Food cost them more than $2k! Expiration really isn't conclusive.
Honey lasts forever.
Gallon of honey is a gold mine!
Great unit for Off Gridders!
Where’s the toilet paper😂😂
Garbanzo beans are chickpeas. Good protein. Donate the food to the homeless food banks. Most other food banks can’t take out of date stuff. Absolutely live you guys.
I'm really surprised you don't understand how valuable that is.
There's a lot of people that don't understand what's coming and I don't mean the end of the world i'm talking about major food shortages. They don't value food , but they will when they don't have any.
@@John-jl3ky Yep. Very true.
That way over 2000, worth of good food!
@@John-jl3ky exactly!
Remember when they used to call can and dry food Non perishable
I’m a beekeeper and if that honey isn’t dark honey it will sell for $10-12/lb . That bucket is 60lbs . If I was y’all I would keep most of that food .
Save what you can!
There's going to be a shortage of a lot of that food in the near future. Save, save, save! ❤😊❤
Nothing is expired. It’s a govt policy. You hit a gold mine
Salt sugar and coffee are considered GOLD in an apocalyptic scenario
Omg well done what an amazing gesture to donate that food. You and Ashley are so kind to do this. Well done xxxx
Great that you donated guys, God Bless 😊
Canned food is usually good for years after the best by date! As long as there is no rust, no bulging, and no dents that affect the seal - it’s good.
Wade. It doesn't mean expired it is the BEST BY DATE! You can still eat it it isn't expired. Actually good find! Honey never expires 😊
Excellent Wade, helping other people. I would have bought a lot of that food from you if I was near your area but donating to a bunch of people, even better.👍👏
Thank you and Ashley for donating that food . Good karma is coming your way .
I bet all that will help to feed hundreds of people, well done for paying it forward ❤
Absolutely nothing wrong with that food Wade it can still be consumed with no problem. 😊 Excellent pepper, needed to put some of that in some of those buckets also. That's what preserved like the rice, beans etc. Garbanzo beans are in with pinto, black beans etc. Hey if there is no other food you'd be happy to have beans to add to just about anything. Donation would be good if you don't want it, but you could make money on it too.😊❤ I think it's a great unit.
So glad you donated it to your local food bank 😊
Well, I wasn't worried about the end of the world...but with COVID I suddenly realized that there are emergencies that prevent you from being able to get to a store! Tornadoes! Once a hurricane kept our power off for 2-3 weeks! And thank goodness I did this because the prices have tripled/quadrupled! AND I learned to can after I retired from work! So... you young whopper snappers need to think ahead!!!! And you struck gold on that honey!!!!
Who buys the best lockers, Ashley ?
It has to feel so good donating and I have something in my eye
I am really glad you donated this. It brings tears to my eyes a d makes be happy.
Well done this will feed a lot of people.
Garbanzo beans are chick peas -- hummus is made from garbanzo beans
Food banks never have enough and donating all that food has been a wonderful gesture and a good example that everyone should follow.
Honey is about $200.
That is a true example of "Restorage the Love!" Awsome!
You can give that to a pig farmer to feed the stock.
Great idea hun😂❤❤❤
Probably the nearest storage locker I've ever seen.
Keep what you can and donate the rest.
Take those jars and fill them with the honey sell them
You won't lose a dime. The tax write-off alone is several thousands of dollars.
I believe they can’t write off more than they paid.
I volunteer at a food pantry. We do not give out expired food. It’s a matter of dignity and food safety.
Expiry dates are a con as long as the cans are not blown they will be fine for yrs 🎉
It's great they took it. There is a lot of homeless even now in our small town. You good giving people.
Amen Wade n Ashley we need more people like y’all to feed homeless n unfortunately people thank God for the Ventures so very special people donating to others while loosing money y’all hearts are wonderful keep up the great work n supporting y’all family through ya wonderful channel we watch everyday Thanks n God Bless the Ventures
LMAO how you guys thought garbanzo beans is coffee...you 2 are funny
This stuff does not expire! Donate it and you make a lot of people happy! ❤❤❤❤❤
Most of that food is best by date, you can still eat the food, just some may have less flavor from the best by day! Joyce from Wisconsin!
No TV, drunk on vodka and stuck in a bunker? You're gonna need a lot more baby food! LOL
I think that it means you have been so blessed in your lifetime! Many young people have not had to eat just beans and potatoes in their life! I remember those days! I can't believe what a great locker that is!!!!
Wade, you have a ❤ of Gold.
I’d be over the moon happy with that unit!! This nation is in dire trouble and they’re going to need that food. Wade and Ashley need to get informed.
Thank u guys for donating be bless ❤❤loves
You use garbanzo beans to make hummus.
Garbanzo beans are chickpeas
Well done mate I volunteer in the UK 🇬🇧 at a place where we help people with food who need a hand, keep up thinking of others, including when you return personal things back to the families after you have checked everything. 👍👍👍👍👍👍❤
Thank you for thinking of food Banks's for the donation. They serve the community in so many ways. Proud of both of you for thinking of others .
Thanks for your hard work you two. You are helping so many people. You rock!!! Gotta look out there are going to be lots of tooting going on😮😮😊😊
This is the funniest one yet!
🎉I don't think your gona lose out youngman 🎉
If you’re hungry and the world is in turmoil we won’t care about dates. And we will all head towards these homes hoping they had some old food for us. Canners and churches putting food away or freeze drying will be the way to survive.
🎉look back to the old days they used salt to preserve meat etc 🎉
You are a blessed man you and your wife always thinking of others you are a blessed family I see that you donate the food to a food bank you are a blessing
I’m not sure if it’s true where you’re at but I know a lot of food shelves will take it even past date.
Absolutely love you guys. But remember the old saying curiosity killed the cat. Lol
And satisfaction brought it back 😂
I guess someone already said this. While expired flour may still be usable, it may taste stale. To preserve flour's freshness, the recommendation is to put it in an airtight container in the freezer or refrigerator.
Just one more thing dried pinto beans will last for years you don't have to worry about that. Sea salt is supposed to be better for you, my husband uses Himalayan pink salt because of doctor orders it is delicious and has help him so much
All that food wouldn't have mattered, as they would have died of thirst!!! LOL
Honey does last forever! Garbanzo beans are chick peas
I understand canned food lasts at least 5 years past due dates
They were ahead of their time, but not very good at rotating their inventory to keep it fresh... I didn't see a single item that wouldn't still be safe to eat (the expiration dates are somewhat arbitrary and are just a suggestion though items in a can sometimes taste like the can). I'll bet the items that have expired could/would be used by a homeless shelter.
Thank you and have a Blessed 4th of July and safe one too
All the dry goods and canned, even expired can goods are good to go for some time. You spent your money well on this unit. Those five gallon square buckets are worth more money than you think. At least 100. Bucks a piece. I wish I had the money to buy this unit from you, I’d buy it in a heart beat.
cream of chicken soup is a prepper must have. rice and pasta get real boring on their own...anything tastes awesome cooked in cream of chicen soup. That size can, right now, goes for about $4 each...We have used cream of chicken soup 6 years past bb date...perfectly good. Mountain house pouches, ONE serving, running about $6 each now. salt is important as you need it to preserve food. I dont care how many deer you can take down, or fish you can catch...without salt you cant preserve it and it does NOT expire. that date is to make you throw it out and buy more. Yes, raw honey has been found in pyramids and still good. a gallon of raw honey is about $75 right now the ready hour buckets...we buy wise 60 day...$250 the last buckets we bought..over a year ago. All of those #10 cans, the butter powder etc...are good for 25 plus years...and pretty spendy. SOOO JMHO, weve prepped since 2004...I wont go into huge detail...but this was not his "primary" prep pantry. This was one of his caches. We dont do as much rice as he did, we do a lot more pasta (cooks faster) you laugh, you kind of make fun...but, when I open a jar of marinara sauce we bought 5 years ago for 84 cents, and realize today that exact same jar cost $1.98...I am giddy. I would not get rid of, you have children and grandma venture...that food would last yall maybe 6 months...and that is only dinners..the beans are pure protein until you start adding cans of beef, tuna, chicken (or can your own since you h ave a few jars)...at the worst you will just have free food for the bad times.
@@wellarmedwife166, I keep mushroom soup and tomato soup also!
yep and their mountain house was 2.5 servings so 11 to 15 dollars each.
I would be absolutely tickled pink to find that much food, donate to food banks, sell it with clear labels on what the expiration dates are.
lol, about 100 pounds of honey and it clearly says 60 pounds...
Oh awesome! Saw your tiktok video and loved it! Instant score!
best buy date not same as expired or sell by date
Canned food stays good for up to 6 years past the best buy/expiration date. I learned this from a food bank. They didn't give away food over 2 years past the expiration date, but they said this came from the FDA.
They are white beans, not coffee beans. Lol
Bravo Wades!!! you gave all of them also the honey! !!!!!!!!! you and your wife are good people!!!
The expired salt can be used for icy driveways in the winter. Better than nothing
Nice donate God bless
😂
Wade's soup kitchen now open 😺
Fun fact: beans for cooking will grow if planted. I did a germination test on navy beans; 19 of 20 sprouted.
God bless you for donating good food
As someone who uses food pantries alot. I've eaten cans 6 to 12 months past the date. Just cause it's past date doesn't make it bad.
Or maybe he went to a restaurant supply warehouse to purchase the flour and beans are high in protein which your body needs
I would try to donate to a shelter, and you are doing a WONDERFUL THING if you could donate and help so many people.
Even medicine and vitamins do NOT expire, I have used 15 years later and I'm still here it is so you will buy more!
I doubt that you will lose any money from this unit..
Keep all containers, make money off them !
Unless you open canned food it's fine. If stored properly. You should keep it. It's always safe to be prepared.
Glad that you donated guys.well done x
I think what you did is amazing. So many families will be helped!
You got a great unit, that food will be good for many years to come!
