MORE BAD NEWS For Red Bull After Miami GP..

- ■ The RB20 has sustained a difficult weekend in Miami and it seems like signs of vulnerability and other teams catching up have finally come knocking on their door. With McLaren representing yet another astonishing mid-season development, as well as Ferrari putting even greater hope in their Imola upgrades, dubbing them as ‘race-winning’ ones, could the championship just have started and more importantly, is Red Bull in danger of losing at least one of the championships?

Well, the Miami GP has proved one thing, and that is that this season is far from over..
In the upcoming few days we will make video's about Ferrari & McLaren upgrades, with especially the Italian squad bringing a massive upgrade to Imola next race, where Vasseur said that he is comfortable they'll be able to fight for wins.
Enjoy the video!
Holy hell f1 needed a feel good story like Norris finally winning. Between Horner not keeping things in his pants, Alpine burning down, fom rejecting andretti, Mercedes fumbling continually, steiner getting sacked, and stroll still being on the grid. It was nice to cheer for once
(Continued) sainz not having a drive, sauber firing bottas' engineer, the Williams drivers fighting over who can cost the team the most in damages, riccardo's seat being at risk, checo + rb not seeing eye to eye on contracts, alonso suggesting some sort of bigotry of the stewards, awkward McClaren Trump photos, the 26' cars spinning on straights, FIA and fom disagreeing at every turn, it was nice to cheer for norris
@nickstadler919
It really is wild that Stoll is still on the grid, even considering daddy's stake in the team. Daddy did sell part of his stake recently so maybe (MAYBE?) this is his last season on the F1 grid?
Alonso had legitimate beef, but making it about being a Spaniard was weird.
Alpine still being considered "factory Renault" by some fans (yeah, I've seen that argument 🙄) with their failures as an F1 team is wild.
I don't have any stake in Leclerc or Sainz but I am a legacy Ferrari F1 fan. I really hope their Imola upgrades are comparable to McLaren's. I'd like to see RB lose their dominance and see what Max can do when having to actually fight for race wins instead of just dominating the track by half a lap gaps.
@lexus82su I hope so too. It'd be great to see 3 teams fight, and really not know who is going to win. Ferrari seem to be making some big moves (I was going to say all the right moves, but we'll see about hamilton, I'm skeptical) and I'm finding myself cheering for them more and more. I also thought the HP livery was pretty cool, and I wish they were keeping the blue stripes and wheels from now on. Miami has me actually hopeful for the rest of the season, and I was starting to lose interest
I love it.
One 2nd place finish and "it's the end of Redbull".
😂😂
To be honest, Australia for example wasn’t a good reason to say RB fell of. But this race Max was genuinely slower than the McLaren, which hasn’t happened since Brazil 2022
It will be interesting to see where McLaren is in Imola and also whether the Ferrari upgrades will work
@@FormulaNewsToday I wish their upgrades would give a hard time to Redbull. Nobody wants a race without any actions.
Only stupids belive that 😂😂😂😂😂
Next race max will break Lando his back like he did with checo
@@FormulaNewsToday I wouldn't get your hopes up to fast, Will see next race when it's not a sprint!
All we want Is close racing.. that's it!
So true. Close racing in top 5 please.
All we want is fair racing and if that means Redbull dominance then so be it
Indycar
yeah man, i dont care if Max wins them all, so long as it's close racing I'm good.
I mean a 7+ second gap after a …. Suspicious…. Safety car isn’t “close”. Let’s pretend that upgrade keeps this level of advantage. You’re looking at 30-45 seconds a race.
I'm much more terrified about what Ferrari is bringing at Imola considering how racey their current simple looking package has been.
Exactly! We are working on a video about this soon, should be online tomorrow!
Im not gonna go out on that limb of "The Downfall of Red Bull" but i will say this. Those McLarens had the full measure of Red Bull all day long. Poor Piastri had the car to beat even without the upgrades. He was just sick fast until he was forced to pit with front wing damage. Norris was a cool customer all day long and just put himself into the right places to be there to pounce when he was presented with an advantage, which he capitalized on repeatedly. The Ferrari's did real well just holding their pace and driving the way they should even though i think Sainz actually had the faster car. Hamilton as well had a very good race. Those McLarens were just on fire at at race pace. Whatever they brought for the weekend worked in spades.
Max didn't pull away from Charles is a sign that we are near the end of RB domination ❤
@@KailamiMwiingaI agree we are seeing the tides turn!
It was a good race for neutrals
Mclaren has been for quite a while a very fast team on the só called power tracks(Interlagos Norris said they had the pace but not the tire for a stint against Verstappen), however I would be quite surprised if Imola was as fast and Monaco it is quite clear its either Verstappen absolute Skill or Ferrari wins because in Monoco tire degradation is not a thing, teams would not Stop if they were not forced. Canada will be another place for Mclaren.
Hopium at best. McLaren were fast on a low deg track where RedBull and Ferrari missed the ideal setups.
As a Max fan I am honestly very happy to see other teams gaining on RB. I have no doubt Max will still win the championship but I hope it will be a lot closer as last 2 seasons!
Not a Max fan, but this is all we, as F1 fans, ask for. If Max wins, I want to enjoy a contest. Not him sailing to the finish.
Note it... we're having a different champion this season...Redbull is feeling the pressure from Ferrari and Now Mclaren, game on...if we get new winner's from Ferrari and Mclaren this Season, it will game over for Max...2 Teams after 1 driver ,...Game on
@@siddharthbhagwat2760 Nah Max will still win it. He has a sizable advantage. The closest non RB competitor to him is 38 points behind him (LeClerc) and would likely be Sainz in 2nd in the season had he driven Jeddah. When he finishes, he's 1st or 2nd. He needs to be finishing like LeClerc and Sainz in 4ths, 5ths for anyone to dent him.
As a Stroll fan I am happy to see other teams gaining and learning from him
@@siddharthbhagwat2760 lol good one😆
It appeared that the RB has a similar problem as earlier this year with the setup and steering. The sprint race showed a much better RB!
I’m pleased for Lando but perhaps saving 15 seconds from a safety car pit stop and winning by 7 seconds might have been a clue as to the real result.
Bit like the robbing of world champ in Lewis’s last lap a couple of seasons ago😗
@@64gorrillawho?
Lando was quicker all race, he fully deserved it. Would have probably won even without the safety car if he qualified better
@@64gorrilla Well apart from Lando not trying to kill Max and running an illegal car and Lando not bothering to go round the chicanes but driving straight through and gaining 2 miles on everyone and that Lando did pit for new tyres ….. well you’re close
You clearly don’t watch or understand racing if you think he won because of a VSC. McLaren had the pace today to dominate. Norris had a 7 sec lead by the end of the race over max so that is your indicator of how fast they going
Max's car had floor damage... but clearly they are much closer than before
Thats because the McLarens pushed the Red Bulls into one mistake after another all day long. The McLarens could pass the Red Bulls at will.
Lando was still much quicker even before the floor damage
@@reuben4 When? Which round? I didn't see that. Lando seemed to be a bit slower than Max until he was in front of Max, Piastri behind Max was also a bit slower to equal speed once the gap was around 3 seconds.
@@rondlh20 lando was setting fastest laps all race and Oscar only had half the upgrades and was keeping pace
@@reuben4 This was after the damaged floor. All this happend after hitting that small pole
Redbull: doesn't win a race but finishes P2.
Twitter and RUclips F1 "News" channels: REDBULL DOWNFALL IMMINENT, NEWEY GONE = REDBULL LAST PLACE?????
Hahaha
Hopefully will be a 3 horse race between Redbull, Ferrari and Mclaren which will be exciting to see if this happens every race
Although I'm a Mclaren fan, and this weekend was theirs, I think Ferrari may be much more dominant in the coming days. Hopefully we do end up with this 3 team, 5 driver (sorry Perez) battle for the front for the rest of the season.
Everybody's forget ing it that Lando had a free pitstop during second yellow flag.
At Miami we see again wath strong teame are RBR and wath mature are Max.
I'm a Ferrari fan but RBR are wow
Dont shed a tear for RB yet. A fortunate safety car and strategy came together for Lando, and we're all happy to see him get a win, but Max was right in the hunt otherwise. Perez was just being Perez and likely will not be an in RB seat next year, which is a damn shame because I like him but he is clearly outclassed by Max and doing little to keep himself around.
The sun of Red Bull's empire is starting to set.
But you forget they lost time in medium and quick corners. But it makes racing closer!
what out for RB cause, obviously there was an upgrade to one of the cars: in sprint on RIC in the Race on TSU which pushed them to top 10. imola probably both will have them.
Let's hope so. 🎉
How come Christian Horner is not mouthing off about what’s right and what’s not right with Red Bull you usually can’t shut him up. Or is he keeping his head below the parapet?.
Jealous little child.
It's not like Red Bull have turned into Mercedes in a few races. I think it's just Red Bull not tuning the car for the track along with improvements to McLaren and Ferrari.
Great timing with the pit stop under the SC and great driving from NOR gave him a well deserved victory.
A rare VER-mistake leaving a hole in the floor and still LEC could not catch up with him.
VER did report he could not turn the car.
Copium: One street race ending 2nd and 4th equals the downfall of RB...lmao
Once again proves that ,Its the Car that is the real star in Formula 1 driving .
And any one with clean air an extend the gap . We have seen with Sainz and now Norris too
I think it's far too soon to herald the end of Red Bull dominance - Max's car was damaged by the cone afterall; however, if they don't win at Imola then then we can look forward to a competitive season.
As the saying goes, one swallow does not make a spring.
Pretty clear the Bulls got their set up wrong, straight line top speed was too slow for both cars, and no way a Merc should be clinging onto that RB car.
Very very very premature to say this is the end of the RB era ….
Piastri had the fastest lap with only 50% of the upgrade !
One race does not a championship make
"blamed"? try "credited"!
Isn’t it a lot simpler than all the hyperbole in your video…?
It’s Sprint race weekend and Redbull in the 1 x free practice session were unable to set up their car properly hence why it was understeery and out of balance etc
Exact same thing happened at Brazil 2022 sprint weekend (Russell won and podcasts like yours no doubt celebrated the new dawn of Mercedes…👀) and in Austria 2022 sprint race weekend where Leclerc won…
I’d suggest if you’re not too desperate for clicks that we watch the next 2 normal race weekends BEFORE we decide whether the demise of Redbull is nigh or not….🙂
It's one race, don't get too excited yet.
Max was driving more slower than Perez as he was carrying more wing. That's why he did not pullout big lead in starting laps... Which Norris could do after he grabbed the lead... Odd win here or there for others is good for sport. Now the team tactics comes into play and Perez performance will be seen keenly.
Perez couldn't catch Sainz in the faster RB?
@@KailamiMwiingai think the problem is that he was in a DRS train, with Carlos chasing Piastri.
@@jdaviddejesusadon3629 Perez was over 3 seconds behind. No DRS was in play. Max was only a tenth or two per lap faster than Charles (on relatively fresher tyres)
@@jdaviddejesusadon3629yes . He was in drs trail..
I think this Norris win is mostly luck 🍀 with a safety car and tire choice in last stint .. from my point of view pure luck for Lando this time..
just keep in mind where was Norris first part of the race stuck in P6 behind Perez and could not even pass him..
One swallow does not a summer make 😂
Redbull have one weekend where their setup is off and everyone is happy to dance on their grave 😂
More than likely, it will be back to scheduled programming the next race.
WE CAN BE WORLD CHAMPION LANDO
Gillette should sponsor the front wing of an F1 team's car.
Lol. For sure. That's a great idea.
I mean max took damage from the curb and Perez. I feel it was just an off track. Every driver talked about the track being ass. I'm happy to see a closer race but almost 30sec gap in 1 gp I doubt they will be 2-3 again. Hopefully though they keep it tight.
Red bull are fine. They always suffer during sprint weekends. They need the 3 free practice in order to set up there car 100%
Norris was lucky due to full sc
Too funny, until he ran over the bollard Max was driving away from the rest, not as fast as normally but still. Also was complaining he couldn't turn the car so also setup problem. And with the total mess up with the safety car where Lando did get a free pits stop any chance was destroyed. But still he drove away from max after it so would have been a win for him possibly anyhow. Also having him winning finally after more as 100 F1 races was a good thing. Next race everything will be different I think. Its fun Lando was shown a lot more while driving safely in front as they do show max when he is in front.. but I'm happy everyone is hoping for a change :-D. Its crazy an English based team gets burned by English reporters just because their main driver is Dutch.. complaining about dominance .. Mercedes (a German team but now having 2 UK drivers) was dominant for soo long and never a bad word for them.
Just one race. Red Bull dominated the sprint race. On poll twice. But would be great to see Ferrari close the gap.
Clean air wins the race!!!
Sounds like the F1 culture is adverse to competition......Michael Andretti.
I think the tarmac had an influence on Red Bull performance this weekend. I guess we'll find out in the next few races!
Isn't that the same for everyone
@@michaelshore2300 Nope
Redbull will also bring updates
It has also proved if Verstappen only gets a second place ( in a sprint weekend) then especially the English press calls it a disaster. - I don’t know how it’s considered a disaster. We are talking one race. ( perhaps some floor damage, tire that apparently wasn’t in the sweet spot but still max made more points than anyone else) and I personally think it’s way too early to say Red bull is in trouble) Pérez needs to deliver when Max apparently couldn’t. But I have a feeling that he will be on the top already in the next race. Mostly because I think if there is a team that can recover it’s red bull. But it is still early days and it has only made it more interesting for us formel 1 nerds
Too early to tell.
Lando deserved to win. However, you can't forget how the Logan crash played in McLaren's hands.
In a normal race, with a normal pit, Lando could had re-joined the race (after his pit) behind both Ferraris and Piastri.
Too early to tell what will happen. I do want to see a better competition, but, one race were all the luck is with you does not make you a championship challenger.
I expect RB to be more worried about the Red team's upgrades than the Orange one.
That might change in two weeks time.
One bad race… just one😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Just wait and see what a monster the redbull becomes next time out 😂😂😂. I’m a big McLaren fan but I won’t claim this to be our year.
This situation is different, yes Red Bull had a bad weekend, they were not much faster than the Ferrari's as well who haven't brough any upgrades, but if you look at McLaren, who brought a total of 9 (!) upgrades, they improved their car massively, they should be able to have this +/- performance for the upcoming grand prixs
With Newey leaving do you think RB is starting to slowly back him out of projects for the car? This one race isn’t the RB downfall just yet. Max will win a bunch more this season.
RB's car was already in Miami when Newey announced he is leaving, and he was in Miami so I don't think his announcement had any effect on the race. We won't see the effect if any of Newey leaving until 2026. Ferrari and McLaren have shown us they don't need Newey at least for this set of rules, Merc and Aston on the other hand do need him. The main advantage of having someone like Newey is to get a good car for the beginning of a new rules set, like in 2026. The McLaren and Ferrari teams can design just as good a car, problem is it takes them longer to get there hence the domination of Red Bull for the last 2 years. I do think Stella's team will hit the ground running in 2026, but only time will tell.
Finally some real racing which shows that it's not all about the cars!! All the emphasis on the tech is a bit tiresome. Boring in fact!!
Betting against Max, is like betting against Elon.
No it’s not. One actually knows what they are doing.
Max empire's sun will someday set.
Bitter sweet win when you have to rely on the safety car to win! Max was way ahead!
Max gets P2 and people are losing their minds lol. Shows you the state of things.
Parity is the end result of regulation and F1 is getting there as a whole. Red Bull just got there first.
But this result is due to one on track incident that Verstappen had while driving in the lead with a large gap to p2.
No race team can withstand that without having supreme dominance.
McLaren is no longer being dominated by Red Bull but Red Bull might have some more development coming which could keep them ahead of the pack even if the pack keeps getting faster.
Verstappen sustained floor damage when he ran over the kerb and cone.
He is still the best driver in the best car. Well done and well deserved for Lando and McClaren though.
The redbulls didn’t have grip in this track, simple as that. Why are y’all trippin
I mean, Lando even said he was lucky with the safety car. Otherwise, he would have to clear oscar, the 2 ferrari's and Checo.
Max said there were issues with tire deg and now we find out he had floor damage.
All that and still finished 2nd. I think Max is still ok 😂 Checo on the other hand...
Oscar P. was robbed...
Hehehehe....they did not want anything that would bring out the safety car...he was sacrificed😢
Max let lando win no other reason, lando is not as fast as max
Max is washed....
Nope. Just a little doubt about the sc. Lando said it already by himself, he probably not won. But Max:" If, if..... great answer. Very curious about Monza....
I love how a "bad result" for Max is P2, I don't think it's their downfall just yet...
yeah not yet, wait until lando piastri and both ferraris are competing then it will be not today, also being known that imiola is biggest upgrade day then true test will be shown
@@_DAKSH-ig3nm Of course, tho only time will tell... red bull are definitely going to be upgrading their car as well
@@theunknown9734but the main thing is newey left , that's the whole point bro, rb can't do miracle upgrades now since newey left
What a load of hysterical nonsense. RBR had 2\2 poles & 1\2 wins. We've seen a couple of times this season that the car doesn't seem to like certain conditions and is more vunerable in those conditions. RBR will end the season with drivers and constructors gongs and will more than likely finish with drivers in first and second.
Oh, btw, I'm not an RBR fanboy either...
Safety car had NOTHING to do with it lol such 'bad news' ... not
Max had a giant hole in the floor after bowling Perez.
If Norris or a Ferrari finish 1st then season is wide open. Max will start to lose his cool.
If RBR can tune their cars to win races, they can tune them to almost win races. Keeping the constructors points close and allowing for more competition gets ratings and happier fans. F1 is first entertainment, then racing. That stunt Checo pulled at Turn 1 affected the race immensely. Still a big question I have is why Pirelli can’t evolve enough to make track specific compound profiles to eliminate so many team headaches?
1 hiccup and you guys start the drama......Red Bull will dominate for a long time to come.
OMG 😱
Red Bull is dead destroyed gone
OMG.
Ferrari or McLaren wins the next race
RB had no experience on the hard tire due to sprint race - there was no operating window. Great for Lando - but I'm not sure he would have walked away with a victory without the safety car. Would have been good to see piastri on the podium but you've got to roll with the luck you're given.
I'd love to see Max at McLaren with Lando. Piastri I'd say to Mercedes - except that looks like career death right now. The Hamster needs to retire though. He has nowhere near Alonso's appeal and just complains.
Trump made McLaren great again 😂 but you're greatly mistaken if you think red bull are done.
Well, we all know aerodynamics is paramount. Who but Trump has the expertise of managing the atmospherics at the exit of things?
The fall of Red Bull has just begun 😅
Then they go and win most of the races...
Newey left
They will still win most races 2025 will be close
Silly comment of the day. Max will go on to win 90% of the rest of the races. The muppets on here take one result as important. It’s like thinking Lewis is any good just because he gets one 3rd place in 24 races 😂😂😂😂😂
All empires fall
I really don't care who wins as long as it's not Mercedes or Sir Lewis (whiney ass) Hamilton who's always blaming the car or a driver running him off the track.
Newey goes redbull falls back, max can’t race unless car is working correctly
Tell us you're a moron without telling us you're a moron
Without the best car by a country mile, Max is just another driver. If he had to drive the Mercedes over the last 3 years, he would have retired already.
Red Bull was asked (by F1) to take it easy for one weekend and don't embarrass every other team again. Horner agreed to throw this race for the good of F1. Next week Max will win by 10 minutes... Checo will be second again. Nice for McLaren this week.
We can see Max finding a way to exit Red Bull asap... Man doesn't know how to win without a Rocketship car
like hamilton?

As a Motorsport fan i'm celebrating Norris for his hard work and his 1st win ,which will be the next step for him.
RB did also a great job over decades to stand there where they r. Don't see them panic like Mercedes always do. RB will be prepared for the next race i'm sure. And the other teams know this too.
