I'm a newbie when it comes to 3d printers. I want to get one. I don't know what to get. I don't like messing around with stuff starting off. What can I get that well be great out of the box? Something I can just unpack, put it together and start printing acceptable prints. Also has to be budget friendly.
The Neo is great, the biggest problem I had was fixing the Z offset. There are a few videos explaining this the leveling makes the nozzle sit too high above build plate once you fix it to be closer it prints surprisingly well out of the box.
Great video, i recently got the neo and it is amazing, i've had no troubles with PLA, but the microsd card that comes with the printer has 3 cura profiles, ome for PLA (currently using with so e basic changes i made), ABS not needing it as for the time being i have no need for abs printing and the last profile for PET this pet profile i am unable to make it work, as cura always says "draft quality can't be used with current printer" when importing the pet profile. Can you help me get the PET profile to work?
So I love th videos, this one convinced me to buy the neo over the Go myself. However im a damned pleb and have only been printing. For a few weeks on a resin mono 4k printer. I got a semi successful owl off the SD card once. Think you could do a video going over how to get the proper G code in place for these things? Or how you got yours from the box to awesome prints? Its so new u can't find resources anywhere
Both great printers, was going too purchase one in the sales, but decided against it kinda wish I had now 😅 I'm all of ££ now the Bambu is in my studio..
Ok, my question is between the Kobra (base model) and the Kobra Neo which one would you pick? Both are direct drive with textured PEI and auto bed leveling (my favorite things on printers) but the Neo is $50 cheaper. Just curious if there are any major differences I'm missing that make one somehow that much better than the other.
Can you make a setup and operation video for the first print I keep having a bunch of issues got the owl to print perfect but anything else I've tried looks like crap
z offset is a fluctuating setting. its smart to relevel your printer when you start noticing bad first layers, and then readjust z offset. look up videos that do the paper test after autoleveling. stick paper under te nozzle, lower z offset til you can feel a decent resistance when pulling the paper.
i have 4 Neos and love my machines. been printing none stop 24/7 for 6 months now, with no issues. its not a voron but gets the job done.
Can You send Your slicer profile?
What in earth are you printing?
So I can use Super Slicer and configure it with Ender 3 settings and it will work with the Neo? Thanks for letting me know

Honestly so far it seems like a resin printer is the way to go for good stuff out of the box. Im having hell with the neo cause I'm the same way.

I've just bought a Neo and assembled it just with the paper notice given with the printer. I've printed the famous owl model easily.
@@remd.1316 How long did it take to print the owl?
@@OhReallyEh so what happens if the z offset is not right??? I got the neo yesterday haven't tried it yet
I just bought the neo because it was 104 dollars off on Amazon and am now just scrolling through videos about it until it arrives.
Thats what i do so many times
@@FrogDude124 Spoiler, it arrived, and it sucks.
@@abram217 whats the problem?

Very informative - I am considering the Neo. Do you have a superslicer profile for the Neo to download?
Bought my neo from the ebay main store for £200 with 5kg filament which is a bargain considering 1kg is roughly £15 each
Awesome !!

any print tuning video to set up will cover what you need to know, just have to push buttons differently on a particular printers screen.

I have the Kobra never had any problems
Which Kobra?

Sam, any chance you could share your SuperSlicer profile for the Neo?
Yep I’ll try and get that done tomorrow and link it
What curra settings do you use for the neo? I just got one and having trouble getting it dialed in.
I’ve jumped to superslicer as in the video
buy one of each! start your own print farm! I need one of those hoodies!
A big farm with two printers! You’re on !
Would I be right in assuming you use SuperSlicer on the Anycubic Max? Is the Kobra Go the same Volcano setup as the Max and the Vyper?
For the max I use cura and superslicer but it depends on what I’m working on. The hot end is a re-design but it’s pretty much the same setup.

Sure thing the basic Kobra has the larger “vyper” style screen. Hence the price increase. Again pei, direct drive and inductive probe on the bed :)

I cant even print the owl!
The print keeps on moving and I literally have tried for 3 days now.
hello i have de question whats is the settings for your kobra neo at the axe Z
Umm not sure, do you mean the z offset? They will range from printer to printer
