Dedede going completely feral, chasing you on all fours is easily the best part of the game. Masked dedede’s theme also really completes this moment. It’s just phenomenal.
Thats what i was saying
We can ignore the design change to look like a club penguin character, but the rest of the moment is awesome

@@budderguy2128 i will be fully honest, his old design from star allies and the other games exept from smash bros was bad imo.
This one tho makes him look more threatening and interesting, and also makes him ressembles his old look from kirby 64 wich i love.
I’m always amazed at how all the Kirby games end in a fight against an intergalactic threat or a demon that could be from castlevania or devil may cry, I love it, but it always amaze me
They've practically made final bosses into a Divine Art!

This is probably my favorite final boss in the entire series. The entire final segment of this game is a masterpiece. HAL really outdid themselves this time, and that's saying something.
Hey bro! Nice to catch you here!
Me 2 borther, i really really really loved the last hour of the game, was phenomenal!
I agree! This might be the strongest endgame for a Kirby title so far. The atmosphere, pace, soundtrack, and just the right amount of challenge. I was hyped!
Yeah they made EVERYONE happy by making Elfilin being the final boss, but only PART of the final boss and still a good guy.
Idk, I still think planet robobot has it beat
I know its common to joke about how abominable villains in kirby are, but Fecto Forgo is literally the first kirby villain in a long time to have unsettled me, with its Dunwich Horror appearance.

The voice acting at Lab Discovera was something I never expected and it was really cool! I wonder what happened to the humans after they escaped the planet tho
Maybe (and it's just a theory) the humans that escape are the Ancient.
I think it’s implied that elfilin turned them into the inhabitants of pop star
leongar mentioned that the inhabitants went to a land of dreams. *LAND* of *DREAMS*
@Fishy Maybe a colony from the Ancient that went wrong
@Fishy Planet Popstar. Dream land
In other Kirby games, you finish the final boss using some sort of special power. But in this one, all you need is a truck.
The special power may be a combination of kirby's mouthful mode, and the power contained within the final boss's other half.

Dedede actually caring for his waddle dees puts a smile on my face
I mean he always has. The dude is king for many reasons but he also cares for his subjects as much as he cares for them. He spends time with them, treats them well and respects them. Like this game proves it more when Dede literally sacrificed himself to save one Dede. The only reason he is evil in each game at a time other then the first time is becuse he gets possessed or cloned almost all the time.

I was legit panicking during the fecto forgo fight. I had somehow gotten it into my head that touching it once meant instant death.

The lore bomb in this game is absolutely huge, the original Dream Land residents (or The Ancients) do come from Earth and they were actual humans, they were granted that power to arrive to Pop Star thanks to the specimen, a perfect being that came out from this world to conquer ours.
30 years ago, coinciding with the first Kirby game. An experiment failed and so, the specimen was divided, closing the connection between Earth and Pop Star. Today, the Beasts that have taken over our Forgotten Land and used the specimen's power to return humans, which the current population is currently Waddle Dees back into the planet, and punishing them by turning them into slaves to power the revival of the specimen once again.
Since the Beasts want to use set power to leave aswell, however as seen in game, their plan fails and ID-F86 decides to just consume everything. Also, Elfilin being the second missing part of the specimen was also wanted to be captured, along with Kirby, the all-powerful and protector of the galaxy.
The final boss of this game represents Kirby and Elfilin facing both the boss of the Beasts and the ultimate life-form trying to absorbe everything, just like Kirby.
If you wonder why the Beast Pack end up good at the end, it's because ID-F86 was controlling them all along for his own motives of revenge and pure destruction. Since they are now free AND both worlds have finally been connected everything is solved and have a happy ending.
SPOILER:
Morpho Knight in the Extra Mode completely sucked the soul of ID-F86 since that's his objective, to absorb the most powerful souls and fight for them. And yes, we could see the butterfly at the intro entering the Forgotten Land

It was speed, not power. And other characters could've survived too, if not for Sakurai's decision to only make a beginner friendly character survive. Sakurai himself stated that two other characters could survive (Palutena and Bayonetta).

I got this game on launch and it's amazing. But this final boss was REALLY amazing. Especially the music and the Big Rig Mouthful cutscene.
Honestly I think that Fecto might have had a good role in the past, but it went crazy and tried destroying everything forcing the good part of it (Elfilis) to be spat out of it forcing it to go into a slumber. Eventually Leonis found it and decided that he was going to help it. However it ended terrifyingly terrible for him as it ate him along with several other things trying to get some semblance of it's former self back before managing to snatch Elfilis back up and briefly returning to it's 'former self' with the bad side of it still in control. I haven't read any of it's pause screens or played the game yet so this is just evidence that I got from this video by itself. Take it with a grain of salt.

Fecto elfilis is definitely number 2 of my favorite final bosses kirby games his design the music it's just perfect 👌
Let us all appreciate the animation in this game after 30 year's, this is by far the best ending it gives it a dragon ball look to it for the final boss and it is epic!!!!
This Game Looks So Amazing! It May be Better Than Star Allies But i love All The Kirby Games! Can't Wait to Buy it for my Switch later this year! I'm Gonna wait till the price lowers or i have the money to get it!
Updated o June 1st: I Got me This Game 2 Days and i Really Enjoy it!
They Will lower 0%
Walmart has them for 10 dollars less usually
@@toki2078 Thanks!
Same here.
I have been waiting for 3 years to buy a switch to see if they lower their prices and they haven't 😭😭😭
I'm planning to buy it later this year, should I just wait for the new Nintendo console instead?
And we all thought the beast was demonic.
Turns out, it was angelic in nature a along!
@@williamgeorge3111 .Who angelic?
@@Erpan_1140_Bola_Amigo Uhh, Elfilis? It's not exactly subtle.
wait who’s demonic?
Basically the final boss is the new ultimate life form sorry shadow XP
Looks like shadow the hedgehog has a contender
And Mewtwo I guess.
The final boss reminds me of The Radiance from Hollow Knight in some way
Ikr? The Boss music of the Radiance works so well with this fight.
probably the best part is that the spectacle of how you end the last fight is something out of a Platinum Game (Specifically Bayonetta) and i'm all for this absurd godslayer energy Kirby evokes with every ludicrous method Kirby uses on the final bosses of his franchise since Return to Dreamland.
fecto elfilis is probably one of my favourite video game bosses of all time. everything about it is just so good
(Meanwhile at a cafe)
Magolor: Do you guys think we should visit Kirby on how he’s doing on the island?
Taranza: Eh, I’m sure he’ll be fine. Besides I think we’ve had enough appearances in Kirby games, especially you, what make you so dang special?
Magolor: Yeah but I want to see how Kirby is doing for his first 3D platformer.
Taranza: Well he’s doing better than that guy in the white hat.
Susie: I hope my game gets a sequel.
(Magolor and Taranza look at Susie)
Susie: What? Planet Robobot was one of Kirbys best 2D platformers. Even Star Allie’s couldn’t beat it.
Hyness: People dig giant robots.
(Upon seeing the giant hole in space time)
Everyone else: *Panicked Screaming
Magalor: Is it Tuesday already?
Hyness: Nah I think space-time manipulation thing is a wendsday thing
Susie: No that giant beasts this is a Friday thing

(Adeleine, Ribbon, Daroach, and Dark Meta Knight arrive next to them holding a telescope).
Daroach: (Giving the telescope to Magolor) Here you go.
Magolor: What's this for?
Adeleine: Look at the portal.
(Magolor uses the telescope to see that Kirby is in there fighting Fecto Elifilis).
Magolor: Oh hey it's Kirby, but what is he fighting?
Ribbon: I don't know but it looks like one of those colorful pocket monster creatures.
Susie, Taranza, and Hyness: Pocket monster creatures?
Dark Meta Knight: You know, Pokémon.
Daroach: Those powerful creatures that ten year olds like to collect and hide them in their balls.
Adeleine: (Blows a kiss) Good night everybody.
Susie: Oh, I've heard of those things.
Ribbon: Kirby has some experience fighting these Pokémon creatures, he's got this in the bag.
Magolor: Since when has Kirby fought a Pokémon?
Dark Meta Knight: Remember that time Kirby, DeDeDe, and Meta Knight went out of town for a couple of months?
Magolor: Yeah?
Daroach: Well the three of them were attending this fighting tournament with all these people from other universes.
Susie: Other universes?
Daroach: Oh yes, the Pokémon from different regions.
Adeleine: The Italian Plumber from a kingdom of mushrooms.
Dark Meta Knight: The blue hedgehog from a zone of green hills.
Ribbon: The shadow witch from purgatory, among others.
Taranza: And Kirby, DeDeDe, and Meta Knight are participating in the tournament.
Ribbon: oh yes. Meta Knight, DeDeDe, and my adorable pink cupcake (blushes) are like royal kings there.
i started crying when elfilin sacrificed himself for planet popstar, so glad he made it
NGL I ALSO CRIED WHENEVER I SAW WADDLE DEES IN PAIN IT HURT SOOO MUCH.., THE PART DEDEDE SACRAFICED HIMSLEF JUST SLAPPED
Hold up...elfelin is Male?
@@tinahickey8273 yup.
Stage one: mind controlled lion
Stage two: mix between the blob and the flood.
Stage three: Kirby's version of a Devil May Cry boss.
Holy crap I almost shed a tear at "Hey Kirby, thanks for everything"
I DID shed a tear at that part
I swear i thought kirby couldnt get any more absurd after void and yet HERE WE ARE
I love how we become so used to how these types of characters in Kirby work that we've just spoted being suprised whenever they betray Kirby as its pretty much tradition at this point.
I mean tbf they never even betrayed Kirby in the first place
I love kirby games but their bosses usually aren't a big part of why i love them, but they really outdid themselves in this one!
“Lets meet The Ultimate Life Form, ID-F86!”
**door opens and Kirby carefully treads in**
*”IT ALL STARTS WITH THIS, A JEWEL CONTAINING THE ULTIMATE POWER-“*
Well how ironic is this? Everyone thought this guy would be the one the spoil the game, but instead it was other let’s players who done did it.
This isn’t the first time
I was never a Kirby fan but this game looks amazing. Kind of reminds me of Mario odyssey
I feel the Capture mechanic from Odyssey was borrowed from Kirby, at least in its applications.
@@briansilva3344 true
Shit I enjoyed Elden Kirb more than Mario Odyssey but that’s just me.
@@ludabam241 same, it had a more unique storyline and more fun bosses
One of the best Kirby games ever created honestly…the final boss was rough yet enjoyable.
To defeat the ultimate life form, Kirby had to become the most powerful being imaginable...Kirby had to become....Truck-kun
Fecto Elfis be in a Isekai right now lol
I had a hunch the main villain of forgotten land would be a lion but I never thought it would be a HANDSOME lion!
Does he count as a villain though? He was possessed by the real villain the whole time, and in all that time, he wasn’t even aware of anything, so nope..
The alien thing was the villian
The way he defeats an interdimensional demigod with a truck speaks the level of how OP is Kirby, he doesn't has to rely on divine weapons or habilities to kill this beings, he only needs brute force and that's so damn bizarre, incredible and terrifying.
Same with the Doomguy tbh.
The entire final segment got me popping off. Gave me serious Robobot vibes of "the final, desperate strike"!
Reminder that kirby was originally meant to be a placeholder character
*And here we are*
fending off extradimensional being is his bread and butter
30 years of this schtick he must be getting used to it.
