Thanks for the feedback. I use the ringers loop tyer for the figure of 8 loop knot. Hope this helps.

Do you not need shot in the line then to sink bait or does weight of pellet do that I assume? Thanks

Personally I'd not use any shot down the line as I'd rather a slower fall of the pellet when fishing this method shallow. Hope this helps, tight lines. 🎣🎣
