Yes, thank you for the explanation. Just has my first steroid injection this week, due to "severe degenerative AC joint disease." I have a tear, but it's incomplete. Medical Insurers in California will not approve a repair unless the tear is complete. After 3 injections, a shoulder arthroscopy can obtain approval by insurance. Physical Therapy is helping strengthen auxillary shoulder muscles.
