This is a very ancient instrument from China. I am glad you guys are exploring the world outside the boundaries of the U.S.. She is playing the Chinese classic instrument with a modern technology (electronic version) and modern techniques.
Be interesting to hear this instrument doing some Western ballads, Rock ballads. The instrument adds that elevated gliding high ethereal that asian string instruments have. The great plains wind sounds represented in western movies music would be cool to experiment with.
I stopped watching when the guy said "ooh interesting song" absolutely annoyed. THUNDERSTRUCK is not an interesting song. GEEZ... the both of you might want to do MORE research before you jump into reacting to a song that is one of the foundations of rock and roll. fuqqin pissed.
I remember finding this Thunderstruck cover for the first time on RUclips... I still seek it out every couple of weeks. I love it.
Absolutely mesmerizing!

You gotta hear her version of Michael Jackson's Smooth Criminal. She is a gift to music for all of us.
She says she is self taught. So awesome.
Pure unplugged acoustic vs the original electric 🎸, thats what made her piece even more amazing. She was truly a one woman band. 👍
Check out her version of Hotel California you'll love it 😁

The gusheng sound is more lyrical.
I click in to see her face…. But….
She never reveals her face in any of her videos. She wants the viewers attention focused on the instrument.
