My favourite detail in the Alien: Earth teaser is the shot of those covert looking soldiers treading through water. They seem intentionally designed to resemble the xenomorph with the protruding back things and dome headware. Just a neat shot
Same. I assume at some point they're going to confront the xenomorph. Wonder if they'll get slaughtered right away, or if they're main characters and will put up a fight.
I really like the idea of filling the gap between Covenant and Alien, but I don't like the idea of xenomorphs being on earth before the Nostromo discovery. I really hope they have a good explanation of events that doesn't undermine the original film.
That ship has well sailed, Prometheus and Covenant undermined the mystery of both the Xenomorph and The Engineers to a degree that I doubt Alien Earth could do much to undermine it further.
And the xeno David made was not even the original. So having WY first encounter his versions on an isolated part of Earth (so canon is not ruined) and then heading out into space to find the OG. That sounds cool. Also it would be poetic if when they found the crashed Covenant, they find David ripped apart by his creations, showing that he was just as flawed as he found Humanity and the Engineers to be.

I've thought about this a lot. Probably more than I should. On earth we have something called "Carcinisation", where things sort of tend toward evolving into crabs. What if on a universal scale, because of the black goo, everything evolves towards the xenomorph? There can only be one "perfect organism," and all things would eventually evolve toward it, unerringly. The goo just hypersteps over the intermediary forms and gets to the end of the line. So the real origin is not David, he just discovered it anew. But it's always been there. And we still do not know the true origin of the goo, we just know that the Engineers had a lot of it, but we don't know where it came from. Maybe they, too, just rediscovered it along their development. Maybe, no matter what you do, evolution will take you to the xenomorph stage. It's always been there.

“YES, AND-“ No reboots. Just course-corrections, please.
Much like you, I’m fully on board to see the return of the Runner Alien design. Out of the many Xenomorph designs, the Runner Alien designs is the one i want to see make a return and not be confined to just solely Alien 3
I remember credible leaks early on saying that Romulus would not acknowledge the prequels, and it turned out to be misdirection. I’m pretty sure I saw an Engineer in the newly released Alien Earth teaser. Around 24 second mark when the guy’s terrified face is sworn in the left of the screen there is a pale white face with heavy brow that looks like the classic Engineer.
One thing I'm very confident about is the presence of the cosmic horror beyond human comprehension that Noah talked about so much. I feel that possibly this series will try to be its own story, without connecting too much to the prequels as Romulus did, and maybe we'll even see something similar to Alien with the derelict ship, but this time on another moon, with another crew aboard the USCSS Maginot.
And the question remain: what did the Engineers worship? That much discussed mural seen in Prometheus might very well show a life form from which the Engineers extracted the black goo or Prometheus Fire, a life form so old, so vicious, so weird, that it could very well fit the description of "cosmic horror." Lovecraft anyone? Might even Cthulhu himself, or some sibling, show up? THAT would be the ultimate trip!!
@@ulfingvar1 This “cosmic horror” tone- inspired by Lovecraft and even more modern concepts of psychological and existential terror- could be exactly what the series needs to stand out. Imagining a universe where something greater, older, and more distant than humans themselves is always watching is an extremely promising premise for maintaining high tension and suspense. I can't wait to see how Hawley will integrate these influences and create something that is both familiar and surprising within the Alien universe.
We've already had Aliens on Earth in AVP and AVPR (and multiple other EU products) long before the events of Prometheus. This is not a novel or problematic idea for this show. Also, Covenant's events take place in 2104, not 2101.
I love that idea, I like when a studio does not throw out older movies just because it bombed. Not only would it link the movies, it would also explain why the company is looking for the xenomorphs, and how they knew about them in the 1st movie
@@Unfixingalloy1UA1 If we go just by the box office then Prometheus made a profit, but Covenant didn't. In fact Covenant made almost half as much as Prometheus which I suppose shows that Alien fans didn't take to what Ridley Scott was trying to do with the lore.
I'm looking forward to ANY AND ALL new Alien content. I'm not picky, everything is groovy. Comics too, which have had some good ones since Marvel aquired Dark Horse.
I look forward to it, but I hope it doesn't connect to the prequels since they fuck up the timeline. If, as you speculate, the crashed ship is the colony ship, reaffirming that David created the Xeno's, then how does an Engineer's ship full of them wind up on LV-426, for who knows how many years before the Nostromo finds it?
Why should that really be a contradiction? The Engineers planned to send Xenos to Earth, to wipe out Mankind (much like the wrathful God of the old testament) but something went very wrong. Who knows, David might have stumbled over the Engineer's home world, or at least some outpost, and sent a ship aimed for Earth, in order to, like the Engineers, wipe us out, but only to pave way for androids. IT WOULD get a little "crowded," but not necessarily a contradiction. This could lead to something very interesting, potentially polarizing, yet very interesting.
Head Canon (though pretty sure I read this somewhere) = The ship found in Alien was despatched 2000 years ago to destroy Humans (something about Jesus possibly being an Engineer). The ship in Prometheus and Covenant was a different juggernaut but used in a similar way as a mirror to what the Engineers intended to do to humans but it was done to them.
@@JayPotton Ok, but assuming that's true, even that clashes with the prequels because if the Xenos existed 2000 years ago, how did David create them in 2104?
@@shockwave7513 Have remembered now where I read this. The original script for Alien: Engineers (that evolved into Prometheus) covered this. A juggernaut had been despatched to destroy humanity "around the time of Jesus" but it clearly never arrived (because, the theory based on that script goes) it crashed on the moon where the Nostromo found it this explaining why everything was fossilised over 2000 years. In Prometheus the surviving Engineer was just going to give it a second go. PLUS David did not create THE xenomorph just another form of xenomorph. The black goo creates the lifeforms but their form is dictated by the host organism (like in Alien 3 when it is a dog).
I love both Prometheus and Alien: Covenant, so hearing for the longest time that Alien: Earth was going to take place before Prometheus made me fairly apprehensive. I get that the prequels are a polarizing part of the franchise but they’re still from the man who started it all, they don’t deserve to be pushed aside. Or at least I don’t think so. And for all we know that still might be the case, I know Noah Hawley said that the Xeno being this recent creation doesn’t do him any good. So they could retcon Ridley Scott’s intention to have David be the creator of the Xenomorph to just having David create his own version via Engineer technology. Either way, I just want any sort of continuation from Covenant. Whether David is the creator or not, his story deserves to continue so if Earth has some kind of tie into Covenant I’ll be more than happy.
Gotta say, the Xenos in some form are older than David making them period. The first film shows a ship that is very old full of the eggs. Other loose canon stories operate on this idea. David’s just a mad scientist android who is reinventing something but adding his own twist. Ridley Scott can say what he wants lol. But it contradicts himself
To present a different scenario, one must admit that the amount of time between the prospective series (2120) and the events on the Nostromo (2122) is just not enough time for these events to be related. Even if it was determined that the ship that crash-landed on Earth was from LV426 almost immediately, the Nostromo would already be on its return trip, and its course was completely as the crew expected until the interruption of their hypersleep, so the detection of the distress call/warning message would have been completely coincidental with the events on Earth. I'd have preferred that the creators of the series had taken their inspiration from the comics series that outlined the near complete extermination of mankind once the Xenomorphs became entrenched here. But I'll settle for anything well-conceived and well-written, as I'm sure you'll agree. Thanks for your work on this channel, I enjoy it a great deal. You also tipped me to the Alien Stompers a few years ago, and I was able to get some. I had bought a pair of the original Rebocks when they were first offered, and the fact that there was a way to get a new pair gave me great delight. Keep bringing us the teasers of any work that's coming.
Given the year its taking place, I'd say it's definitely connected to Alien Covenant and closing that gap that was left wide open between that and the original Alien. Too... Ridley Scott is an Executive Producer for the series. I seriously doubt he's gonna do something to connect Covenant with the original Alien.
@@kole6150 Okay if that be true and if Alien:Earth is connected to Alien:Covenant I withdraw my previous comment. (Shit's a disaster, perhaps shit is still a disaster as somethings can not be reverted but at least I hope the missing parts will come together 😂
I really liked the Alien comics of the 80s and 90s. The whole Earth War run - which really emphasized the hyper-capitalism of Weyland-Yutani and all the other corporate entities constantly in battle for money and power, morals and ethics at minima. I liked how the Earth hive was started by a corporation getting a hold of an Egg, and raising the xenomorph in high tech captivity until a group of "pro-alien" cultists free the queen, starting the beginning of the Earth War. Now I'm not saying it should be exactly like that, but I feel like that is the bones of a great tv series. You've got the dark drama of the corporations, the weird misguided ideas of people who view the xenomorph as a savior or a better sentience or whatever, and then ultimately, the beginning of the battle for Earth, the loss of Earth, and then later the retaking (should the series be a success with multiple seasons). I e long said the comics had some decent stories that would be good for tv.
I’ve always wondered why no one bothered to adopt the Dark Horse comics into film or television. The original AVP comics were miles better than the shit films we got. But hey - there’s a cow (sheep?) eye in the trailer. If the aliens are impregnating animals, maybe we’ll see some story elements from the Operation Aliens toy line.
@@daniellinford9643 I've been saying this for years as well. There were a lot of great stories in the comics. Some of the concepts have been adapted into games and books/audiobooks at least at passing glance. Were they really an inspiration or just obvious storylines to do, I have no idea. But I always felt xenomorph getting to earth would be the worst scenario so eventually it would be addressed. Not really sure where I'm going with this other than to agree with you.
@@JohnnyRocket76 agreed. I feel where the comics went wrong was the introduction of the quasi-psychic abilities of Newt being integral to the story. I didn't personally like how the xenomorphs had a psychic beacon type element. But still, the bones of a lot of the comic storylines were great and could have been adapted. The xenomorph hive war was awesome imo
Can’t wait for this one, and I’m very pleased that the series seems to have accepted and incorporated, rather than rejected, the RS prequel films. I still think David-8 has a date with destiny with Ripley-8, and that such a confrontation on Orgae-6 post-Rez would be the most thematically and philosophically satisfying conclusion to the prequel story, but whatever this series holds, I’m glad it’s trying to expand on what we have rather than revise away particular plot points in the name of fan service.
I also agree with the David thing. He already forked an entire planet while watching in fascination. So.... Yeah... I can TOTALLY see David going to Earth with his new friends....
I always kind of had the impression that Weyland-Yutani already knew about the Xenomorphs before they sent the Nostromo (Hence why Ashe was placed onboard) I think this could verify that little piece of headcannon for me lol
That is established lore. "Bring back specimen" was the priority one order. What other specimen could they have meant? No other extraterrestrial lifeform has been suggested
Unless this event was completely kept secret from the world, how could there be no knowlege of aliens on earth 57 years after this show if this happened around the time of Alien?
Because it’s all a steaming pile of convoluted bs. Funny how a little sci fi film that came out in ‘79 is still being curb stomped into the ground. Talk about creative bankruptcy lmao!
The company has always known about them. They just lie to the workers like Ripley. They have been trying to capture and turn them into bio weapons from the getgo.
Better question. How the hell is the earth even still around 57 years later if they are already here? Every book, both comics and novel have all (fans as well) seemed to agree that once they show up, it's done. They spread like wildfire, and the only real recourse is to nuke the planet sooo... I guess girl boss is going to save us all...
Its Alien, so no matter what, I am there for it. My dad had me watching Aliens when I was like 4 and it has been my favourite franchise since. 33 years later and I am still watching them all frequently and I will continue to do so til the day I die. Like you say, if the story can justify wheat its doing properly. it will be fine either way. I have great hope, slight apprehension, but most of all, pure excitement!
i saw another teaser trailer that mostly took place on a contemporary looking space station, featuring face huggers, something that looked like the neomorph, and the line "whatever happens, we cant let these creatures reach earth".
For those that have been following your channel this is a dream come true I know you're proud thanks for the knowledge too now I know what to expect in the show Romulus was amazing and definitely is up there in my opinion with the best of these movies
Oooh, I really like your theory that the tie in with Covenant could be the plot. I hope so as I liked the prequels. This would help Ridley Scott complete his prequels storyline. Can't wait!
I’m always excited about more ALIEN content. It feels too soon in the timeline for something like Earth War. Maybe the crash landing and the deadly cargo is how The Company first comes aware of the Xenomorph. So all future (from around 2120 on) WY spacecraft have that hidden primary mission: if the Xeno is encountered, all other considerations secondary.
Please Noah Hawley let’s have some character development before they get killed off. And no callbacks! I want vicious and aggressive xenos aka Alien 3 (practical effects). I would love to see the exploration of the alien in the chair and the idea that it was growing out of the chair. Not a suit. Basically more Giger!
While I’d be open to this finally bringing some closure to the prometheus storyline, I recall Noah Hawley saying he wasn’t interested in the story of the prequels, or something along those lines. Plus Ridley Scott has confirmed he’s developing a new Alien movie. I would prefer to see the prequel story get its conclusion on the big screen.
As someone who loved Prometheus and really liked Covenant (though I would have preferred their original ideas for Paradise Lost), I was still truly hoping this would happen before those movies because I do not like the "David is the creator" story beat. David dabbling with a pre-existing recipe and putting his own spin on it would be fine, but as the originator of the creatures, well, I am very much not a fan of that. ☹️
I hope you are doing alright, and I also hope this show is a decent kick off to a show that takes elements from Alien Earth War. That could be really good!
I thought it was awful. One of the main characters essentially has a nap for most of the movie. they are technically slaves yet have skill sets that include flying multiple spacecraft and familiarity with their systems and weapons handling ..from a magazine. Apex murder species of the galaxy get's beaten by a bunch of utter nobodies is getting a bit boring. I'd rather they get to Earth and wipe the planet.

If you would like to debate Romulus I'm more than happy to do so, but I do not think here is the right place for that. edit: to all the retards who want to pile on, I am more than happy to debate the movie on a platform that will not censor my words. if you don't want to do that, sod off.

Hawley has specifically said that he isnt interested in the prequels' interpretation of the Alien, so I doubt there will be any explicit connections to those movies. Thank the Gods. I am just really eager to see a new Alien scifi story without a dull 'ancient aliens' B-plot.
I'm more optimistic for this series than I was for Romulus, unfortunately the dark shadow of Ridley Scott looms large over this, meaning we're going to see something really bad. One can only hope that Noah Hawley has more of a backbone than Alvarez had & pushes back on that prequel nonsense
Don't be surprised if events in this series don't line up with Prometheus or Covenant. Noah already said he's not counting them as canon. This is a prequel to Alien and that's it.
i wanna see how this will be like especially after romulus (plus video idea could you make a video like "what if a xenomorph was a host for another xenomorph" as if the egg and the face hugger had some devolotionary changes in some depictions)
this is great news, I've always been a fan of the prequels, fingers crossed also I'm excited to see the future advancements on earth, I know it's highly unlikely but seeing the different synthetic models operating within the society etc.
Definitely an intentional nod to the Alien 3 teaser. I don't think it's a coincidence the crack in the earth is V shaped either. They're cheekily alluding to this being "Alien V" .. Which.. They obviously can't say properly because it's both a series (and prequel).. I actually trust Hawley more than almost anyone they could have chosen for this so fingers crossed. :D
I don't hold high hopes for it. Romulus was good, but I wouldn't take that as a sign. It did fix some plot holes for Alien and Aliens, but it was very much a rehash of what we've seen before, just handled better than what other movies have tried. For instance, it was done so much better than Star Wars episode 7, which was just one giant rehash of 4, but with new action figures to collect
Well Prometheus is good timeline wise, and shows the Alien was around before hand. Covenant not only contradicts that, but screws up the timeline with the first Alien film. the short films add to the Bluray not only further screws things up, but contradicts the actual film Covenant. Romulus shows a connection to Prometheus, and Alien with nods to Aliens, Resurrection and even the game Isolation. They smartly ignored Covenant altogether, not saying it was removed from canon just not mentioned. If this Alien Earth takes place before Alien, they could play it smart and take a note from AvP. In that it shows how WY learns of the Alien, and how no one else knew of the events that took place. But if they connect it to Covenant, and throw in mentions of it etc. then they will just further throw into question the timeline and the creation of the Alien that Covenant screws up.
YES! Ignoring the Prometheus/Covenant thread is idiotic. No matter what you thought of them (I loved them!) they need to be addressed, either here, in the inevitable Romulus follow-up, or in the project Scott is rumoured to be planning.
The things that are attached to the marines might be lights. Remember in aliens, the Marines a light that was on one side of her shoulder. These ones might have double shoulder lights.
@@mytzlplk That is what the canceled Alien 5 was suppose to do. One of the Alien video games also did that, well it had it so Hicks was still alive. Alien 3 still happened. The body that was believed to be Hicks was someone else.
The confirmation of the year this story takes place removes a gigantic weight off my shoulders. It has always been rumored to take place much earlier in the timeline that always pissed me off because nothing made sense then afterwards. How can't anyone in the original films (yes, including Aliens) know of these aliens if an outbreak took place half a century before they were born or so? Now it's just 2 years prior to Alien. So, sure, some absolutely do know & I think we all look forward to just how much Weyland-Yutani indeed knew. But now it makes sense why Ripley herself had no idea of this creature. I don't know when she left Amanda at home to do her job on the Nostromo but it realistically should have been during this very same time as Alien Earth happens. Ripley is simply not home. And if Alien Earth geographically contains the Xeno outbreak so that most of mankind will never learn just how darn lucky they were then Earth finally fits in. Previously, it never did for me. If they had revealed this sooner I think the hype had been greater. Many have had a problem with when in the timeline this was meant to happen.
thank you for your content! this new "Earth" one looks good!! if it ends up on Hulu (or some other streaming platform), I don't know if I'll see it on that platform (trying to not have too many subscriptions), but if I don't I'll prob get the dvd/season if they make it (if it's a series or a full-length feature film). I saw Romulus in theaters during Summer and am looking forward to my dvd pre-order in December!
I’m calling it now, it’s the Covenant, and David 8 is on board waiting. He destroyed the Engineer Homeworld, now he’s going to try and finish the job. Michael Fassbender will be in this series for sure 👍
I'll watch... but I'm skeptical of the "pre-Nostromo" timeline for the series. The events of the original film need to feel remote, isolated far out into the nigh-unreachable reaches of explored space, to maintain its terrifying tone. If another crew has encountered another Alien first, and brought it to Earth two years prior to the events of the first film, it undermines the tension and terror of those events, makes it seem less special or less urgent, and shrinks down navigable space to a region where these previously remote, bizarre, singular extraterrestrials are a dime a dozen.
The events of Alien Covenant are set in 2104 not 2101. Also, it's not a "mysterious vessel" that crashes on earth, the ship belongs to a new antagonist called Prodigy Corp. who apparently found the alien on LV-426 before Weyland/Yutani.
In the video game Aliens: Fireteam Elite, the large number of Xenos like the runner on Alien 3 is justified by saying that they come from a huge number of livestock, with the Aliens being like Big Chap, only from humans.
I think this being set after Covenant is super interesting. I really want some kind of conclusion to the prequels and hopefully this show will deliver. Fuck I just hope it doesn't suck:)
Pretty sure the one image is of a cow. Wasn’t it confirmed by Noah a while ago that we would be seeing the xenomorph come from different hosts? And since its set on earth im almost sure well be seeing other animal hybrids too
If they connect the series to Prometheus and Covenant, then I would be super excited. However, something tells me to not expect that. Hopefully it’s good but I have my reservations.
They should tell a completely independent story. The fact that everything always has to fit together seems obsessive and undermines the potential for a good story of its own. The franchise offers room for fresh ideas of your own outside the corset of the original story.
Frankly, I have more than a few doubts about this series: let's start from the fact that I fear they could create a season where the xenomorphs appear very little, and we mostly get caught up in the machinations of WY. Which, of course, would be very interesting, but from a series called "Alien: Earth", I hope that xenomorphs exist, and often exist. Secondly, the issue of the pre-Alien date can be resolved with a cover-up: the public will never know about the presence of the xenomorphs. But at that point the question remains about the WY commission of Aliens: they were aware, but did they lie to Ripley? or was it low labor? Any other concerns (like the discovery of the wreck signal, or the fact that the company didn't try to recover the urns from LV-223), I'll keep to the series. I'm curious, of course. But after many recent rip-offs, I'm now very cautious about getting excited about it.
I have high hopes for this one. Romulus wasn't amazing but I liked it a lot. I'm hoping this series while not building on the same story can keep the right momentum going for the franchise.
The creator of the show Noah Hawley is a fan of the alien/aliens idea of the xeno being millions of years of evolution instead of the Prometheus bio weapon origin

It wouldn't really undermine it, as it was clear even back than, that the company new about Xeno, and wanted him back.

And we still do not know the true origin of the goo, we just know that the Engineers had a lot of it, but we don't know where it came from. Maybe they, too, just rediscovered it along their development. Maybe, no matter what you do, evolution will take you to the xenomorph stage. It's always been there.
“YES, AND-“
No reboots. Just course-corrections, please.
TRUE!
Much like you, I’m fully on board to see the return of the Runner Alien design. Out of the many Xenomorph designs, the Runner Alien designs is the one i want to see make a return and not be confined to just solely Alien 3
Remember the old toys they had Xenomorphs mixed with animals i had a Xenomorph / Cobra hybrid toy
AvP is not canon. For goodness' sake, don't introduce predators in the mix!!
I love that idea, I like when a studio does not throw out older movies just because it bombed. Not only would it link the movies, it would also explain why the company is looking for the xenomorphs, and how they knew about them in the 1st movie
Prometheus did NOT bomb, it was actually quite the hit!!
@ulfingvar1 It has grown a following yes, but vastly underperformed when released
@@Unfixingalloy1UA1 I think you are confusing it with Covenant. THAT one underperformed massively.
@ulfingvar1 They both did
@@Unfixingalloy1UA1 If we go just by the box office then Prometheus made a profit, but Covenant didn't. In fact Covenant made almost half as much as Prometheus which I suppose shows that Alien fans didn't take to what Ridley Scott was trying to do with the lore.
I do remember a darkhores comic with cows giving berth to xenos long time ago.
@@JayPotton I wish they had had the balls to use the Jesus was an engineer story.
@@JayPotton
Ok, but assuming that's true, even that clashes with the prequels because if the Xenos existed 2000 years ago, how did David create them in 2104?
@@KAISERaw17 David could have sent or landed that ship we see in the first movie.
I think the crashlanded ship is a gift from David. His attempt to destroy Earth.
I hope it's true but on the other hand I hope it won't make him the true, first creator of alien.
David and Ridley Scott’s storyline are complete shit
I heard he’s been given the go ahead for Prometheus 3 so, if it’s true, that would ensure the series is separated

The comics also go the space jockeys right. I never liked what Scott did with them. Prometheus could’ve been a great movie with no ties to Alien.
The animal eye we see in the trailer is a sheep’s eye. Just a regular old sheep.
Love the shot with the reflection of mother earth on xeno's head, simple but genius, i had no idea this was in the making, now i am super stoked
Knowing Noah is in charge gives me hope. His work on Fargo was incredible.
Legion even more so!
I wasn't looking forward to the TV series until I saw this video - very well done sir.
Perhaps unlikely but the "cow eye" made me think the original Pilot / Space Jockey from Alien.
@ulfingvar1 The flipside is, they could have received the signal, translated it, and wanted a sample, regardless of what it was.
The eye looks like a sheep. Link to Dolly the clone possibly?
Unless this event was completely kept secret from the world, how could there be no knowlege of aliens on earth 57 years after this show if this happened around the time of Alien?
Because it’s all a steaming pile of convoluted bs. Funny how a little sci fi film that came out in ‘79 is still being curb stomped into the ground. Talk about creative bankruptcy lmao!
Downer ending with everyone and the xeno dying.
I’ve accepted that the company is like any government organization, completely inept. Because I’ve been saying the same thing since AVP.
I am looking forward to
It, albeit I am not a fan of Disney…we’ll see how they limit the showing of the series.
Hi, I’m Cecilia. It’s wonderful to meet you!
That eye looks like the OG Space Jockey's eye from the 90's comics.
Totally missed this teaser. Thanks for covering and your thoughts
Anything Alien has my full attention! Cant wait!
i saw another teaser trailer that mostly took place on a contemporary looking space station, featuring face huggers, something that looked like the neomorph, and the line "whatever happens, we cant let these creatures reach earth".
For those that have been following your channel this is a dream come true I know you're proud thanks for the knowledge too now I know what to expect in the show Romulus was amazing and definitely is up there in my opinion with the best of these movies
So so pleased and genuinely looking forward to this - even more-so given how other franchises have been mishandled.
I can't wait, cause even when it's a bit duff I just love the Alien universe and keep coming back for more, hopeful every time.
Wasn’t a fan of ALIEN having a tv show but I’m slowly getting more excited
I can’t wait for this. Bump that release date left to Sunday and drop the entire series at once. Let’s go
I hope we get to see more David. He is definitely one of my favorite characters of all time.
I wish they kinda went with the Earth Hive story. Just like I wish they went with the original story from the Alien vs Predator book.
Yes i remember that graphic novel with the Blue/Red xenomorphs
Excellent video 👍 Thank you 💜
I hope you are doing alright, and I also hope this show is a decent kick off to a show that takes elements from Alien Earth War. That could be really good!
Romulus restored my faith in the franchise, I will likely check the show out when it releases.
@@musicilike69 first of all chill. That's quite a reaction from me just saying I like Romulus.
Second, Never said Romulus was a perfect movie, there are certainly things I did not like about it. Its the best Alien movie we got in a while. I do like Prometheus but I do acknowledge that it was an objectively bad movie. If you would like to debate Romulus I'm more than happy to do so, but I do not think here is the right place for that.

The David story does need wrapping up so i'd be happy if it's linked to Covenant.
I hope this series finally incorporates the Mork & Mindy alien story that inspired the first movie.
I'm looking forward to this show. Yes, i think they will connect them.
Love this channel. Tribvtes from Germany... Ps:alien out if shadows audio drama was amazing would love to hear new audio drama same quality like ..
if we never get a sequel to covenant, I hope this will be the closest to it. i liked those movies and their ideas, plus David as a great villain.
I'll probably end up watching it out of curiosity more than anything. What I want is a movie or series set after the events of Alien Resurrection.
I would love to see some animal born xenomorphs . I loved the runner from Alien 3 so would be nice to see some variant.
That still of the actor screaming at 5:52 seconds - I think - is Alex Lawther. Anyone else agree?
I couldn't have believed 5 years ago that wed be gettinf new alien movies, a show, and now a sequel to alien isolation
this is great news, I've always been a fan of the prequels, fingers crossed also I'm excited to see the future advancements on earth, I know it's highly unlikely but seeing the different synthetic models operating within the society etc.
Ripley lost her daughter and gave her life to prevent the alien getting to Earth. Oh no, no no no. They were there already.
Well technically this is more about the Yutani company on earth before they merged/joined forces with Peter Weylands company itself 💁♂️🤓🤔
Hope they had the balls to just retcon Prometheus and Covenant out of the story and timeline entirely.
💯 And Alien 3! Hicks & Newt should have remained alive.
@@mytzlplk That is what the canceled Alien 5 was suppose to do. One of the Alien video games also did that, well it had it so Hicks was still alive. Alien 3 still happened. The body that was believed to be Hicks was someone else.
They won’t. Ridley Scott casts a long shadow. I hated how the engineers were the cause of life on earth. The universe got very small in those movies.
💯 agree.
well said
Cannot wait for this, love all the Alien movies (not AvP :D ) and excited for a more long-form story in the universe
I’m looking forward to it sort of? Maybe?
thank you for your content! this new "Earth" one looks good!! if it ends up on Hulu (or some other streaming platform), I don't know if I'll see it on that platform (trying to not have too many subscriptions), but if I don't I'll prob get the dvd/season if they make it (if it's a series or a full-length feature film). I saw Romulus in theaters during Summer and am looking forward to my dvd pre-order in December!
Intrigued!
Alien Theory should Collab with Max Derrat
the creatures eyes look like a goat
an animal with horns...imagine a xenomorph with horns in live action...
I'm down Alien fans are eating right now
I wasn't looking forward to it at all when it was rumoured to be before Prometheus, this new information has me more excited but time will tell.
The new narrator sounds more like Carl Sagan than the Alien 3 narrator
I think it sounds like David.
The creator of the show Noah Hawley is a fan of the alien/aliens idea of the xeno being millions of years of evolution instead of the Prometheus bio weapon origin
It sounds like Lance Henriksen in the teaser trailer. I wonder if he'll make an appearance in the show
Lead actress is pretty, definitely looking forward to
