DNA Extraction with QIAGEN DNeasy Kit: Incubate at 56°C

o This clip demonstrates the use of a dry heat block to incubate samples at 56 °C during DNA extraction using the QIAGEN DNeasy Blood & Tissue Kit. Incubation is necessary to lyse cells. It is recommended to incubate samples for at least 15 minutes; however, longer incubation times (i.e., 2-3 hours) are most effective for cellular lysis.
