That's the kind of shape I like. Nice review Darren.
Thanks Martin! :)
Wow! Amazing video, bro. All these balance infos and close up on the grip and slow motions shots just absolutely ideal information i need because im thinking buying set of these.👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻 New subscriber 100%
@@robottiofficial5043 thanks, glad it was helpful 👍
Have been tempted recently to try a torpedo type barrel and I think I’ll take a chance with these if and when they come in 22 / 23g. Great review as always Darren
Cheers mate! :)
Thank you for another great review Darren!
I have a set of Unicorn John Lowe that I’ve had since the 90’s. I like the shape, but don’t get as much grip as I like. If these were fixed point I’d be doing some online shopping tonight. For whatever reason, I’m just not that interested in Swiss…not sure I see the point (pun fully intended). May need to poke around and see if I can find something similar. Would possibly go ahead and bite the bullet on these if they were a bit cheaper.
Thanks! Yeah I think the Swiss points still put a lot of people off
Nice looking darts, maybe a little short for me personally. Really enjoyed the review thanks Darren the stem splitter Watson lol 😂🎯 happy darting 🎯
LOL the stem destroyer! Cheers Vic! :)
Just got mine . Superb dart I am well happy Darren .
Nice one 👍
Great information, thank you
No problem! :)
Great review again Darren - like the look of these but it's just the Swiss points that puts me off. Cheers pal 👍
Thanks mate! Yeah a lot still are not keen on the Swiss points, I am still not a fan myself but can see some good reasons about them :)
Quite nice... Would love to try that style... Nice colour combo...Thank You.
Cheers! :)
Great review as always sir 👍
Thanks! :)
Darts look great but we need the 50mm points to see how HIS fly! Hopefully Target make some in SP
Its a neat clean looking dart but not sure a 50mm Swiss point is a good idea, may break too easily?
It's a good grip all over dart . Me front to middle. Had a go at back. Not to shabby . At all
will wait for 23g version.sp just don't do it for me broke acouple points in 10 throws to expensive to replace those! great review mate thought you might had yellow shoes on or buzzy bee outfit for this one haha
Only green will do lol😜
Nice review and a great looking set
Thanks! :)
Been patiently waiting for this review (its been over a day😂)
LOL!
£66 for basic looking darts is a rip off. I know target need to make the sponsorship money back but that’s extreme. Mission’s offerings seem to offer more visually for the price point. I’m even saying this as a target fan.
I think so, but I am not entirely surprised by it.
I totally agree!
£35 all day long
@@thecrayondemo That seems like the proper price point for these.
@@thecrayondemo definitely agree as they seem to have Bolide levels of machining. They could even be a Bolide 2.0
Been really wanting these to try out but that brand new price just hurts.
Yeah think the price will annoy some but its not really unexpected, all players darts are getting pricey these days.
@@DartsReviewChannel they are but it’s just disappointing. I’ll be checking eBay for a cheaper set but that doesn’t seem to work out well recently
Just bought 'em and they group very well! Got the 23g... kinda pricey, but worth it imo
Great to hear!
Great video and video format just ordered them!
Is it okay to put different branded shafts in the darts?
Thanks 👍 yeah use any you like 😊
@@DartsReviewChannel excellent thanks alot 👍
Great reviw mate! I’m throwing with target rob cross gen 1 23g and i want to try something shorter… can u say me if this shaggy darts could help me?
Thanks! Its worth a try but I have no idea if it will help you or not.
Just a mention. I love my Gen 1 . All i changed was . Longer points . And indeterminate pro grip Tag . Shafts . . Hitting the spot . So give it a go guys ok
Nice shape a bit different seems all top players have super slim darts these days. I haven't got any target darts since the swiss points came out, they're bound to snap
Yeah there is not a lot use fat darts, some do though like Searle :)
,ice lookin dart and ive been meaning to try out this kinda style but theres 1 thing holding me back; when i hold a short barrel dart the flight kinda touches my hand and messes up my throw so idk ... might just need another setup for a short barrel. anyway .. happy dartin ;)
yeah I think its likely a problem if its not right for how you hold it, I know someone that likes it that way though but we are all different which is why its good there is so much choice to fine tune things the way we feel comfortable with :)
I was hoping you would review his darts. I throw John Lowe darts and these seem quite similar but with more middle/rear grip. I think I'll wait until a 21 or 23 gram set comes out but they do look good.
Would enjoy trying them out. It's not my normal preference, but you never know unless you try different things
I think if you like that style is a nice one for balance, the sweet spot for me is not quite where I naturally feel right with but yesterday I gave them another throw and they were flying very well but again I was holding a little further up than felt natural but once I got into a groove with them they flew smooth and well :)
@@ant88310 True :)
I like that style of dart plus coupled with the swiss point they look like a future purchase.
Let us know if you get some how you get on with them :)
@@DartsReviewChannel will do
Really like these, but the 8.4mm thickness is a bit much i think. Have to try it anyway! :D
Will you soon be reviewing the new Target Rob Cross Black Edition darts that came out the same time as these?
I dont have any but they look good so I am sure I will get some :)
Not a great advertisement for Target Pro Grip stems.
Had a few flights fall off.
But nice review as always.
Well its still holding the flights even now after playing with them for longer, was going to break it off but just left it so maybe it is a good ad for them if they are strong enough to keep holding them lol The rings are a waste of space though, they just snap straight away! Cheers!
Looks a lovely dart…… maybe a bit expensive but a shape and length that tempt s me to have a go/look and never thrown a torpedo short dart…… no doubt they will be popular
I think its cleanly machined and has an elegant look about them, pricey yes though :)
a little bit too beefy for me but seems like a good balance 😀👍
Dazz just got he's. New black 25 g what a dart. Better like a bolide grip sure this is of a bolide in first place my bolides I love. Lol you talk about grip omg . Shaggy gen 2 got the lot . I throw from front to middle mate . Not a rear player at all all the best dazzer
They do look similar to one of the Bolides, sounds good 👍😊
Looks like a great dart. I wish target would put a window on the front of the package. I like to be able to see the darts displayed on my shelf in the package.
How do these compare to John lowe phase 3 ? And if there's more grip at the middle rear, I'll buy they off you
Not tried the JLP3 yet so not sure.
Brilliant for people who love short stumpy dartsets!!!!
They should be :)
Ever so slightly off topic, but any recommendations for a soft tip board? I've got 2 boards for steel tips & fancy an alternative
The Gran boards are probably best
@@DartsReviewChannel Cheers mate. I'll have a gander
Like the new beginning with the catchy music. Nice looking arrows but Targets are up there in price I suppose to pay the dart player and well as make money.
Thanks! I have done those kind of intros before it just takes a bit more time :)
Probably not going to work well with my giant hands, but looks to be a nice dart for someone, surely. Thanks for the review, matey
Cheers mate! :)
Nice
Nice looking dart. That micro grip might be OK for me. I won't grip it with my fingers..
as long as you dont touch it lol
I'm not a fan of Swiss points and never will be. But anyway a good review again.
Thanks Glenn, I am not really either, can see why some like them though :)
Thx!🇳🇱
Like one of the more recent John Lowe darts for high end cash 💰
The recent Lowe phase 3 cost even more?
Any idea when the 23g version is coming out?
Fairly soon I think
@Darts Review Channel what were they thinking mate? 25g only lol
@@gnarlyflies180 Think they just had to get them out quick because of all the people asking for them, so more weights to follow :)
Bit dear swiss point good or bad
Swiss points still have a lot of divided opinion
hi darren, can review the gabriel clemens darts
Which ones, thought I had already reviewed them?
@@DartsReviewChannel the new he played on the world cup. I think you reviewed ist old ones but please correct me if I'm wrong
I reviewed the gen 1 so if it wasn't those I don't know what they were?
Very nice dart but dont like swiss points at all , there is enough grip for rear gripper like you are . Pitty so far not in 21 g . Not to mentioned T 5 world champion lol 😜
😛
@@DartsReviewChannel The Main Star likes them ? 🦮 🎯
Looks like the old target bolide
Similar I think :)
Would be a Great giveaway
It would as the box is signed :)
I know SP is always adding to the price somewhat, but this dart seems fairly basic, so i just dont see the price point.
This dart is 76,95€ here, which is very expensive imo, and its a similar shape and length as the Bolide 05, which is 41,95€.
So if i were to want a SP dart, I would just buy that.
Not my first time looking back at the Bolide series when a way too expensive newly Target SP Dart, that looks very similar, just released.
Yeah the Bolide 05 are quite similar, may be better for me too as they have grip at the front :)
These look awesome!
Clean and elegant shape :)
Great review Darren! I'm thinking I like the shape but not the points . Too pricey for me as others stated .
Thanks mate! :)
Which points is Scott Williams using? Seems very long on TV
Someone said he uses 50mm points
@@DartsReviewChannel yeah he uses 50mm
50 mm homemade file points. Doesn't use the punk points anymore
Great review Darren, they suit your throw. Target overpriced again and don't care for the SP's either. If I bought these would like the option of using a Storm-like point in them. Cheers
I was not too sure when reviewing them. But played with them for longer afterwards and got them flying really well but only holding near the middle. Thanks!
Can they only be played with the Swiss points? Or can I put on any other point?
Btw why are they called Swiss points? Are they invented in Switzerland? 😅
Not what I expected outta of these. Pretty sure these are different than what he was throwing in the Super Series last year. I was hoping for replica of what he used to throw with. I’m not a big fan of Target anymore but they are still nice non the less. I’ll possibly consider getting a pair if they offer 23g in steel and 20g in soft tip but probably not..I’ll pass for now and stick with my Viper Bee’s. 🐝
I think he was signed with Super Darts before so might have been something they had for him?
A nice dart, though quite pricey.
25g me😊
Target know how to wind darts fans up! Lots been waiting for these then get released at a silly price, with 26mm swiss points! 🤣
Not sure long Swiss points would be a good idea lol
@@DartsReviewChannel yeah I actually use them with 35mm so they are actually like 41mm standart
Great review, as always. But this is nothing special for the price.
Thanks Edward! I think a lot is the fact its a players dart, also things have got expensive anyway of late but yeah a little pricey for the style of dart.
@@DartsReviewChannel I own a lot of Target darts. And yes, everything is getting expensive. But these just seem like a money grab to me.
Andrew Gilding copies almost
No where near copy .
"darts review"
That's the most stupid thing I've ever heard.
Really why's that?
That's the most stupid comment I've ever read Stan.
@@DartsReviewChannel I don’t get what this kids problem is?
Good review Darren
@@trevorclapham5571 just another sad troll, RUclips is full of them
@@DartsReviewChannel I was interested in hearing the answer to your question. Sadly no justification to the troll’s claim was expressed. Can’t please everybody I guess. Personally I find your reviews helpful in making a more informed purchase since I can’t test them before buying.
