My Shot Roman Empire Caesar darts are really nice, great grip, finish and quality.. Expensive but well worth the cost.. I also have the Love Darts Eva, same shape and very nice dart.. Happy New Year..

I’m glad I came across your channel. I’m a decent player, “forward” hold with really dry fingers and lick em before every throw. Any advice before I head to my local shop to try them? Just to ad I’m living in Canada. I have smoother style which throw well but terrible grip.
Is it a certain darts you are after or something for your fingers? You can get various grip aids to help like Darters Roisin and there is also other liquid type ones like the Winmau Simon Whitlock Wiz grip, think that's what it's called. But if it's darts themselves there's plenty of grippy barrels on the market. 😊

Thanks 👍 it's not just how you hold the darts though it's also what works with your whole throw. I often find front weighted darts work best for me but I like some straight barrel sets too. The ones that I have been using the most in recent times are still my Harrow's Predator and NX90, also still like throwing the Unicorn Ballista and I also have a prototype set I got made which is front weighted and works well but I have not shown those yet although it's not the design I finally got made 😊

Hi I’m looking to get my own set of darts, only ever used the ones in the pub🤣 I know it’s a hard question but what weight would you say is best to go for first been looking at 23/24G?
Hi, in theory you can get used to any weight and any dart if you play with it long enough but if its your first set then its usually best to start somewhere in the middle and most people usually recommend 23 to 25 gram. So yeah that weight is a good place to start :)
Yeah they will be fine, most straight barrel ring grip darts are a good starting dart, you can get cheaper ones but if you like the look of them they are certainly a decent dart and price overall.

Thanks mate, depends how slim you want it as most barrels that are centre balanced are quite chunky in the middle and slim darts are usually ones that are straight. What weight and length too and do you like a lot of grip? Also some centre rear grippers like using front weighted style darts so the range of options is quite vast really. A good all rounder front weighted barrel is the Harrows Predators. I think the Harrows NX90 are also a good one for most grip if you like a more grippy dart. I think the Dynasty Fallon Sherrock style darts are also good for mid to rear grippers :)

I’ve been playing for a year or so with straight barrels just fancy trying something different. I’ve been changing weights a lot between 22g and 24g! I would be going for the asp 24g, try and stick with them for a while and see how I get on!

Thanks! Honestly if you are starting out I think its a good idea to start with a basic straight barrel ring grip style, I am in the process of making a video about that, hopefully I will get it uploaded today. I think its the sort of style that works well for many people but of course at some point you may want to experiment with other barrels as your throw improves. Something like the Winmau Navigator 3 or the Quantum Rosko darts in 23 to 25 gram is a good place to start. There is lots of that style though and I will show some examples in my video :)
@@TheNois25Yeah they are fine, my suggestions are just based on a starter set but in reality you can start with anything really, its just what I suggest in video is a kind of middle of the road style for people who are not sure what they may like best yet. Cullens are good for mid grip but its impossible to say they will be best option for you as you wont really know until you try them and not every mid grip player will throw with a straight barrel set, some like other shapes too. But you have to start somewhere and take the plunge so its as good a set as any to try :)

@@MrAnchora Nx90 are great darts, I like them a lot but they are not really front heavy. Still I think they are worth a try as its one of those dart that may surprise you if you like a good grip too that is. What do you mean, landing tail up in the board? Usually people want them to land tail down lol. Or do you mean when you release it? I honestly dont think it matter a whole lot how the darts get there, as long as they are near or on target you will be doing something right. Changing set up can have some effect, so worth trying different stem lengths and flight shapes, but the moment of release can also have similar affects.

@@MrAnchora Ah I understand, I think that is more because of the way I hold it and the angle I release it. It does not mean its a right or wrong way of doing it, its just the way it is for me. Harrows Predators are a good dart, they are more grippy on the rear half than the front, could be worth a try though as it is a slightly front weighted dart.

Hello mate. Have you managed to, or would you consider a review of the red dragon Ikon 1.1? Really quite fancy the look of them and they're not very pricey at all but they're a big change from what I use and I can't find any reviews anywhere

Hi I’m looking to get my own set of darts, only ever used the ones in the pub🤣 I know it’s a hard question but what weight would you say is best to go for first been looking at 23/24G?
Hi, in theory you can get used to any weight and any dart if you play with it long enough but if its your first set then its usually best to start somewhere in the middle and most people usually recommend 23 to 25 gram. So yeah that weight is a good place to start :)

Yeah they will be fine, most straight barrel ring grip darts are a good starting dart, you can get cheaper ones but if you like the look of them they are certainly a decent dart and price overall.

Hi mate I've just got the RVB Echo 95s and use k flex. Would love to know what you think about them from a review pov, I love them!
What the Echos or the K-Flex, as I already reviewed the K-Flex, dont have nay Echos but they are very similar to the other Barney models that I reviewed :)
Are they? I've never thrown his phase 4 so I didn't realise 👍 Kflex are great I think

Hey, loving the content and was just wondering what have been the best darts you have used or a highly recommended set for a centre/rear gripper that enjoys a slimish dart, Thanks
Thanks mate, depends how slim you want it as most barrels that are centre balanced are quite chunky in the middle and slim darts are usually ones that are straight. What weight and length too and do you like a lot of grip? Also some centre rear grippers like using front weighted style darts so the range of options is quite vast really. A good all rounder front weighted barrel is the Harrows Predators. I think the Harrows NX90 are also a good one for most grip if you like a more grippy dart. I think the Dynasty Fallon Sherrock style darts are also good for mid to rear grippers :)

I’ve been playing for a year or so with straight barrels just fancy trying something different. I’ve been changing weights a lot between 22g and 24g! I would be going for the asp 24g, try and stick with them for a while and see how I get on!

Thanks! Honestly if you are starting out I think its a good idea to start with a basic straight barrel ring grip style, I am in the process of making a video about that, hopefully I will get it uploaded today. I think its the sort of style that works well for many people but of course at some point you may want to experiment with other barrels as your throw improves. Something like the Winmau Navigator 3 or the Quantum Rosko darts in 23 to 25 gram is a good place to start. There is lots of that style though and I will show some examples in my video :)

@@TheNois25Yeah they are fine, my suggestions are just based on a starter set but in reality you can start with anything really, its just what I suggest in video is a kind of middle of the road style for people who are not sure what they may like best yet. Cullens are good for mid grip but its impossible to say they will be best option for you as you wont really know until you try them and not every mid grip player will throw with a straight barrel set, some like other shapes too. But you have to start somewhere and take the plunge so its as good a set as any to try :)

@@MrAnchora Nx90 are great darts, I like them a lot but they are not really front heavy. Still I think they are worth a try as its one of those dart that may surprise you if you like a good grip too that is. What do you mean, landing tail up in the board? Usually people want them to land tail down lol. Or do you mean when you release it? I honestly dont think it matter a whole lot how the darts get there, as long as they are near or on target you will be doing something right. Changing set up can have some effect, so worth trying different stem lengths and flight shapes, but the moment of release can also have similar affects.
@@DartsReviewChannelsorry my english is little bit rusty, i saw in your slow motion throw that your darts kicks when you release (tail goes down then darts straightens in air and land up on board, some times not knowingly i throw like that and my accuracy goes up, but cant mimic or throw like that constantly. Would you recommend harrows predator, are they front loaded, and grripy. Thanks on your answers.
@@MrAnchora Ah I understand, I think that is more because of the way I hold it and the angle I release it. It does not mean its a right or wrong way of doing it, its just the way it is for me. Harrows Predators are a good dart, they are more grippy on the rear half than the front, could be worth a try though as it is a slightly front weighted dart.
Hey I have the navigator 3 darts and find them good should I try them Mathew edgar or what would u recommend as a alternative (21-24 grams)
