Pokémon Go is a 2016 augmented reality (AR) mobile game developed and published by Niantic in collaboration with The Pokémon Company for iOS and Android devices. A part of the Pokémon franchise, the game is the result of a collaboration between Niantic, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company. It uses the mobile device GPS to locate, capture, battle, and train virtual creatures, called Pokémon, which appear as if they are in the player's real-world location. The game is free to play; it uses a freemium business model and supports in-app purchases for additional in-game items. The game launched with around 150 species of Pokémon, which had increased to around 500 by 2019.
Pokémon Go was released to mixed reviews; critics praised the concept, but criticized technical problems. It was one of the most used and profitable mobile apps in 2016, having been downloaded more than 500 million times worldwide by the end of the year. It is credited with popularizing location-based and AR technology, promoting physical activity, and helping local businesses grow due to increased foot traffic. However, it attracted controversy for contributing to accidents and creating public nuisances. Various governments expressed concerns about security, and some countries regulate its use. By early 2019, the game had over a billion global downloads, grossing over $3 billion in revenue. The game also had over 147 million monthly active users as of May 2018.
"People tend to ignore the Team Go Rocket battle method because of the amount of effort it requires" NO, because of the amount of MONEY it requires, now at least. Hatching 12 12km eggs is a good method, and I was doing that! Unfortunately that requires incubators, and now all my coins have to be saved for stupid remote raid bundles, since that's the only way I can do relevant raids (rural player) and I sure as hell ain't giving Niantic any money now.
😂
Getting 12 radars for the eggs means you have to beat 72 grunts and 12 leaders for 1 full batch😂
Here, here 😅
@@DUTCHGAMERNL2sounds difficult but my storage is stuffed with 12kms, every single one. I can’t hatch anymore eggs cause how often I do rocket grunts, I do not spend $$) on incubators
The slightly lazier way for eggs is to stack 9 7k (friend) eggs and hatch them all simultaneously. I'll stack 12k rocket eggs when there's a rocket event or reduced hatch distance event.
I’d recommend having a stardust benchmark, dope vid too Count
Living in canada where it currently is winter, one tip that would be beneficial for those dealing with winter too is have a gotcha going as you drive around (im assuming very few actually walk around during winter lol) so you dont miss any spawns. If you're lucky you can get surprise shinies in the process. Another big tip i learned from another content creator is stacking tasks that have boosted dust pokemon rewards and wait until a 2x dust comm day (or similar dust boosted event) to catch the mons in the stack. Have a starpiece going while doing this too.
Hi I'm still new to the game, whatt does having a gotcha going mean?
@liz2668 so there is these gadgets many players use called gotchas. They essentially help u play while ur driving or other circumstance when ur not paying attention to ur phone. It first started out as pokeball+ (which was an official product) but then knockoffs emerged and they ended up being better. The pokeball+ u had to constantly press a button once itd vibrate when u were "catching" something but with gotchas u didnt have to worry about that so it makes for much more convenient game play. More recently there's been one of these gadgets (another official one) named the pokeball++. This one was mainly introduced to tie in with the pokemon sleep app but u can still use it even if u dont play that game. It has the added benefit of tracking sleep which can net u more dust and hearts with ur buddy and a third thing i cant remember at the moment. I think its xp. Anyways yah id recommend looking into these and see which would work best for u because theres so many different kinds. Good luck!
@@liz2668it's an auto catcher, the new one is called the pokemon go plus+ though
Also, if you do Task Researches that reward you with a Pokémon you mentioned at the beginning (the fungi and the feline families), then you should run away from it and stack up those said researches so that you catch them later when there's an event going, like Community Days, where they can give you x3 (or maybe more?) Star Dust per catch as a bonus.
Stacking field researches of stardust boosted or evolved mons, catch them with Star Piece on during 2x Stardust Spotlight or Com day.
I hear using a star piece at the end of the go battle league rewards is good too 🤷. I'm trying to figure out about these "nests" you speak of. Is that a big city type of thing only?
I'm doing all my friend interactions that will spend 3 and 4 hearts every Monday at the same time as the exploration tracking reward, and aligned with my seventh capture and seventh pokestop, all with just an egg luck and a starpiece
I pretty do everything mentioned but include using an auto catcher during runs/cycling sessions. Might pop a star piece if there is a x2 dust bonus/boosted dust pokemon are more common. My goal last year was 10 mil dust. This year’s goal is to reach 25mil dust.
I think he meant without cheating
@@Miklo_1What?
@@morrt8579 I think he didn’t include using auto catchers because he doesn’t want to encourage cheating.
@@Miklo_1 autocatchers are not cheating though? The pokemon company themselves sell one.
@@morrt8579 yes, they sell them because people want to cheat..
you aren’t even catching Pokémon. The machine is catching them. So you can never say it’s your account. It’s a tainted account.
Do a trainer battle with a team leader each day with your walking buddy. That's 300 dust minimum and "battle together" heart. Also battle an active friend three time daily. Regardless of who wins you both get 500 dust and sometimes rare candy or a sinnoh stone. A friend and I switch off knocking down our 10 CP teams for fast wins to get our stuff.
I can manage to get the 100km adventure reward over the summer during my marathon training, but I wouldn't say the effort is worth 20k stardust for the average person without a bike or skateboard.
Also, sometimes my adventure reward doesn't pop up until 10 or 10:30 while I have the app running since 9 so I gave up wasting a stardust if it comes late... Anyone else?
just do the melton box and a starpiece today and tomorrow since it's times two stardust already
Will you have updated 2024 guides for best pokemon to invest in for raids & PVP?
is it pop always around 9 AM in monday? I mean about collection from walking ? your tips are great, but the best way is actually to look for 1 hour spotlight. We got one today for nidoran. I remember 1hour spotlight with foongus. My god It was so great! I even encourage my girlfriend to take 1st shift at work. Even she get something like 300 K stardust in 1 hour with starpiece. It was great
I found a shelder nest during this event I’m capitalizing on stardust
A lot of these aren’t really feasible since you have to buy raid passes or battle passes and incubators.
Do you fly? Or play legit? I an wondering if people fly because i always play legit and that make me have to move and walk for real and play outside when many people cheat and they play on their beds…
Legit. Spoofing is lame af
@@CountJinsulaOfficial I disagree 😎
Make excellent throws. It helps out everything
I need to practice
But they don't boost stardust?
Wow no way I never would have guessed this
@@buttcrackerz6981 well it's obviously not for you.
I’m not sure about your use of “effortlessly”. Haha. Battling as many Team Go Rocket battles isn’t so effortless;)
100 km per week with defit or there is something new that i don't know yet 😁😁😁😇
You don't need defit lol just go for a run every morning
If you're not confident with spending your dust just SAVE SAVE SAVE it.
There’s not enough Pokemon or stardust
i have 100 million+ dust so im good :)
stardust is more useful used than sat doing nothing ;)
@@willywillybumbum9851 nothing to use it on
@@Polaroxide hey do you have any tips on how you got so much
