Don't forget that Terrakion is an excellent pick against Team Go Rocket. 3 fast attacks and then a charged attack. That's helped me burn so many shields against leaders.
Virizon with double kick and sacred sword can be the same with the same dps, its just grass and fighting just in case you want one that lasts longer in raids
It took me several years (-4 yrs) of being strategic and grinding for good 91%+ IV’s for at least 90% of the meta/ pvp and shadow versions of each attack/ defence tiered Pokemon! A lot of them I have like 2-3 each for raid/ gym attacking purposes lol I’m pleased to finally see everything fall into place and though most aren’t maxed out, they’re close or over level 40+! My niche now is meta relavant shiny shadow Pokemon, niched gym defending Pokemon and adding a third attack for pvp relevant Pokemon 🥰 Though ppl always make fun of my lack of stardust they quickly realize that I have a well rounded overall team in every typing! 😤

@@icycoldfurnacegenerally you want to win 3 from a set, then lose 2. Maybe every so often lose 3 out of 5 and win 2. I’ve been steadily building out a team of shadow mewtwo: 5 with psystrike, 5 with shadow ball, and then between those put a second move on 5 for elemental coverages.
Very helpful list, I've been trying to get good shadow excadrill for quite a while, rhyperior, mamoswine and garchomp have been a blessing to me, if nothing else, I got a great team of ground and rock types
3 pokemon I missed on this list: Swampert, got a strong mega, good for both water and ground type raids attacks, and great in all 3 leagues. My favourite non legendary besides Mamoswine And then Kyogre and Groudon. The primal versions are super strong, the best in their typing and both are great in the master league too. I’ve used them much more often than Dialga or Yveltal
Rayquaza has always been my favorite pokemon and I was happy to see it coming back to raids because I wasn't playing when it first came out. But I work and don't have the time to go to places for raids. Thought maybe I can remote them but no, it's not happening which sucks. Oh well
Tip also for Roserade: it has a baby form, meaning you can also add the second move for a discounted stardust cost. 10k for budew, and 50k for Roselia and Roserade.
You're the man. This is the type of video we need. I rarely powerup pokemon out of fear of wasting it. Videos like this calm my fears lol gotta spend it eventually lol
In PvP for zekrom, almost everyone runs fusion bolt. Wild charge makes it a better closer, but fusion bolt is more consistent since you aren’t debuffing yourself.
I think Salamence/Shadow Salamence/Mega Salamence deserves an Honarable Mention. After getting access to Fly in the new Season, it's Raw Power as a Flying Type Raid Attacker even without a Flying Type Fast Move is CRAZY. It even has a higher DPS than Regular Rayquaza WITH Dragon Ascent. (Which is even more absurd considering how broken Dragon Ascent is) The best part is that you don't really need to switch the Fast Move, and you can just leave it on Dragon Tail, unless the raid boss you're fighting is a Grass Type, then in that instance Fire Fang is better.
You should have also said what the non-shadow ranking was for each in its type instead of just the shadow ranking. Good shadows are harder to come by with people having more chance of having a good non-shadow.
I feel there is a massive oversight here being that Palkia Origin forme is currently the best Dragon raider a great water raider and literally destroys everything in its path. Currently the best Pokemon in the game right now.
I can't believe you don't have Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon on your list - boosting the entire raid like Mega Rayquaza (a bug not much talked about prevented that from working for Mega Ray until some unknown time this year).
Hopefully the raids coming out of Go Fest are in the Mewtwo / Rayquaza tier for legendaries. The latter seems possible with the season being Flying themed but given that Mega Ray is in freaking Elite Raids, who knows.
Fun fact shadow exca is also the number 3 steel type raid attacker(metal claw and iron head) so it’s essentially the most useful Pokémon on the entire non legendary list and perhaps overall.
I'd make a case for Gyarados being a fantastic value pokemon. In the master league #29/24 (shadow). In Master Premier #7 (shadow)/#4 regular. As a water attacker Mega #5/ Shadow #7/ Regular #10. As a dark attacker Mega #13, (not top 30 for either shadow or regular). As a dragon type attacker Mega #29. It's got good value in PVP. The mega can be used as a water/dark/barely dragon attacker. The non mega can be used as a water attacker. And candy/xl candy/mega energy is easy to get by walking.
After like 7 years I Finally restarted legitly playing pokemone go (shout out Pokémon ++ tho, loved not having to walk around) this game has become so much different, I’ve been playing for like 4 days , I’m level 28 an have 7 shiny’s
Just got past the budget power ups, im not sure how gyarados with legacy aqau tail missed this list. Great in the ML, especially when legends/mythics are banned. Can use it for stab water dmg or stab dark dmg as the mega. Also gets a dragon moveset if you need to use it for like a non stab dragon attacker (only if you really dont have 5-6 higher level pokemon that counter dragons).
What about Metagross? What about Marchamp? What about Lucario? What about Togekiss? I use them on daily bases. And as a secret wappon Gholdengo... Hard to get, but very good. And honorable mention Melmetal as easy to get Mystical. By the way I love to use my Yveltal...
Surprised no Dragonite. It's super useful for both raids and PVP in all leagues plus it's been around since the beginning and has had several events for people to get candy/xl candy.
I really liked this video. I think it would have been more informational if you added the rankings for the non shadows. You really only commented the shadows ranking I really would have liked to seen both rankings for the shadow and the non shadow variations. video was very nicely done I liked the format and the on screen layout well done. Hi Daxi, I know this question is rather late but I have 108 Rare Candy. Should I spend it on evolving my 2nd Cosmog or on something like my Rayquaza or Shadow Mewtwo?
I would add Metagross and Togekiss to the List Both are good/amazing in Raids and have good use in the Master League AND Metagross will get the mega in the future which will be great x3
I personally wouldn't recommend Zekrom, its very slow in DPS I feel compared to something like Shadow Raikou, Shadow Electivire, or Xurkitree and its PVP relevance isn't too crazy right now.
Zekrom has an ER score 97% as high with Wild Charge than with Fusion Bolt for PVE so not that bad of a deal to use your Master League Zekrom for PVE too. And Mewtwo has a 93% ER score with Psychic compared to having Psystrike in PVE. Clearly not as good in PVP though, but it means if you already have a Mewtwo for the Master League with Psystrike, it's probably not that useful to Elite TM a Psystrike on it.
I didn’t get enough energy for rayquaza this past appearance. Also no mewtwo. Have a perfect zekrom and a perfect shadow excadrill though that are already best buddies. Just need a ton of XLs.
It has two double weaknesses and a single weakness that is shared with the most common gym defenders... Probably one of the worst defenders in my opinion.
Currently on my list of getting hundos are for the weather trio, more specially for my boi Groudon and for Rayquaza. I do have my one and single meteorite from Go Fest and I'm waiting for a hundo or a shundo (if I'm lucky) because I don't want to waste it on a Rayquaza that is like 89% in terms of IV's, which is currently my best one. Let's hope during the mega Rayquaza raid day I get the luck to get a hundo so I can use it on
