Well look at that. Another Chanel that is a “must subscribe “ . You hit everything I need in a RUclipsr. Time to binge. Realistically I’m a year away from in stalling an LS . I just put a tired 350 into my 350 pick up. It was given to me and just want to dive the truck for the summer. With that said I’m going to start looking for the parts I need . Looking for to seeing your videos. Thank you.
Your videos have helped me immensely to get my 96 Chev running smoothly. I swapped to a 411 PCM and bought HP Tuners and an AEM wideband. I can't thank you enough for all of the info and tips in your videos. Thank you Randy! I'm also from Edmonton so it's nice to know you are not far away!

Definitely would like a basic overview of everything required to do a turbo on a LS
I’ll try and cover that in an upcoming video, it’s a little different depending on what vehicle it’s in but I can do a kind of general video.

Hey hello - I'm new to the channel, as I seem to be going down the path of learning how to tune and program (long time software engineer, and new diy mechanic). Is this also relevant to the 5.7 Vortec engines (i.e. year 2000 Express)?
Hi Matt, while some of the tuning principles apply to the older Vortec engines, the big difference is the older PCM’s aren’t reflashable with HP Tuners/PCM Hammer/Universal Patcher etc. So I focus on Gen 3 LS based engines from 1999 to 2006. I have heard of guys adapting the newer reflashable 0411 PCM’s to the old 5.7 vortec engines but I haven’t done it myself.
Say I hope that you could do this but I am helping my son with a ls swap but tuning is not my specialty at all if I got an email from you. Lol I don't like asking. We are doing 1991 chevy 1500 with 1999 5.3 w stage 2 cam complete build bottom up. We will be getting a ecm unlocked but we have everything for this build he is going for a 60e this time for a Trans that's what we have now. He is ordering everything Friday.

@@LowbuckLS I'm rewatching the hp tuner vids. Got hp tuner,got my tahoe tweaked abit,mostly the transmission hold backs but would like to learn more about the engine management side of it
