My guess on the met was that it was a pre-programmed file that was accidentally triggered. I doubt an experienced staff such as Lafayette’s would trigger a metronome purposely at state finals. Anyways, 5A finals (and semifinals for that matter) was the most competitive top to bottom I’ve ever witnessed.

Ah yes because bluetooth can reach that far and someone actually wanted to do that. Not being rude but imo either North or MC shouldve won, both of their runs were cleaner and sounded better 😀🤷♂️
KMEA has traced the phantom metronome to another band's equipment! No other band in finals could have overcome such a stunt the way Lafayette did. Go, Pride!

My friend is the band directors son. The metronome was actually coming from another group practicing, that was too loud
