I'm not sure they'll cancel the whole series. I can understand why nobody wants the silver proofs but first in the series for bullion I think is a safe bet especially when they're only a few quid more than Brits.
@@SovereignSaurus Yeah, i've been looking at it carefully and I think Im going to switch my focus to bullion lol. Still mindful of the proofs though. The sovereigns proofs are going mad so its this or that in my eyes. lol

Don't worry mate. Now i've had a few months to digest the design aesthetic and now that i've had the coins in hand, i can say that even though this series is getting off to a sleepy start, as long as gold stacking is still a thing, it's quite likely (nothing is guaranteed and I tend to have an offbeat taste that appeals to a rarefied few) that it will find it's feet and you will have some rock solid (comparatively lower mintage) minted gems on your hands, relatively speaking of course. A couple of factors which support this idea. Once there are a number of coins out, people will understand that there is something to collect, it will have a 'track record' so to speak and be in their minds as existing for a while. Secondarily, like it did for me, it can take a little while for a design idea to take. I have a saying, which is contrary to the old dictum, that Familiarity Breeds Consent. So once people get used to the design and the fact that it's been around for a bit in the world of coin collecting, it's reputation will be established enough that the inevitable growth in interest will occur. Then the money will follow, as people with no taste but bags of bucks and an awareness of the in thing, start paying over bullion for back dated coins. This will be the time to sell, if that was your intention. Then interest will peter out and all that will be left are some nice coins, which may some day further down the track, become a cult classic.
Yeah like the QBs, its defo becoming a cult classic lol. I like this design still, I think when the dragon comes out we will know if it will be good series or not. By then a few coins would of been released. Either way its a good thing to stack gold right? lol

Thanks buddy, I have delayed my order with RM for the yale proofs because I haven't got good lion of england proof coins. I am still in a process with RM to sort it all out 😭. I will discuss it on future video when it all gets sorted and hopefully it will help some people out. How about you? are you still collecting them? I have been keeping a eye out on the prices for them on eBay though.
@@averagestacker Nah, I was signed up for the 10 coin order but decided to call it a day when my Seymour got the dreaded milk spots after a few months of receiving it. I will just collect the bullion now. Hope you get your issues sorted and will look forward to hear the outcome.

@@averagestacker No,, They Gave me a full refund and not a problem cancelling the remaining orders, they did offer to replace the coin, even though none in stock then ? but after seeing all the bad coins going out, i Decided not to, shame i think the silver proofs are a really nice design to date.
