      @@yellowflag9945 you mean back like posting? I’ve been building a little something special for 12 hours a day every day for the better part of a year. Every millimeter, exposed surface etc was considered. It’s mostly to aid my weekly videos during the season. Lots of people are talented, brave, or dedicated to racing enough to actually go on track line this OC. So I’m Going to try to help ppl see the value in sim racing. It’s not a just a gimmick. So if a dummy like me can build from scratch solely with my hands something RUclips hasn’t seen, it’ll prove literally anyone can. Did I underestimate the intensity of the learning curve especially in software? It’s possible haha but now that I’ve spent 80% of the time failing in what doesn’t work, I’ve truly worked out what does and what is most effective to get people racing to help them fall deeper in love with racing.
      That’s the strategy atleast. I’ll have the largest manufacturers in sim racing as sponsors and collaborators. My only weak spot right now is pedals. This way I can do giveaways, contests, etc all directly funded and distributed by the actual manufacturer eg Next Level Racing. It’s all built just got a late sponsor who may be interested with Ascher Racing sniffing around. I’ll finish pitching them today. But I don’t see any reason I can’t start my “Sim Saturdays” Series before end of February . At that point things will kick off like normal but even faster with a few going out a month on top of weekly race stuff

    Any particular reason the steering wheel is a Sega Game Gear circa 1996?

  • @amirgamil
    @amirgamil 2 года назад +1

    Reminder of how important it is to let go of the wheel when you know you're going to have an impact to prevent the steering wheel from breaking your wrists. Hope you're okay man!

    the way the steering wheel was pulled from his hands, that must have hurt.
    was hoping he let go, but on replay he held it intil it got violently spun when the from wheel hit the barrier.

    why that numpty in the white car reversed straight into the track. I was focused on the overtake on this and didn't see the white car sitting by the side of the track, until the overtake was occuring and he pulled out. I'd be pissed.

    I understand this hobby/sport is VERY expensive, but how hard is it to get into? I’ve always aspired racing and motorsport from being a young kid. Now finally I am growing up to be an adolescent. I know I will not be able to reach big leagues but of course I wish I can still have some fun. I also wonder the experience you have and how long you’ve been doing this already so I can have a general idea.

      First thing to worry about: getting the money for the sport. Then you worry about networking.

      Formula Racing is relatively expensive but easy to get into! I would suggest looking around at your local tracks and facebook groups to find what classes and races they offer in your area! Formula Vees are well regulated meaning you wont be overspending because there are limitations to how much you are allowed to do! First see if you enjoy it and then look to making a career, It will take a lot of time and effort though so be prepared! All the best!
