I just built this last night. Great kit ! Its amazing. It tuned my 50 foot vertical that only my giant palstar can tune. Had a nice qso with my old Norcal 40 3 watt radio Jim Cates sent out to me 23 years ago. Brought back many memories of my youth. Thank you :) de KB2QQM

You can find it on his website. Own one myself, and honestly I haven't used any other tuner that comes close!

That ladder line dual banana adapter is quite clever, I looks homebrew and that I can't seem to find anything available online with the same functionality seems to support that assumption. Upon inspecting the video it looks like you modified one of those twin banana to BNC adapters with some screws to tension the connections but it's hard to tell in a video this old and low resolution... At any rate built or bought, I'd love to know the details as I'd certainly like to have a few on hand for my adapter case and field kits

I have just ordered one online 5 mins ago and it is far cheaper than the Elecraft T1.

With so many radios with 20W now, like the G90 and Fx-4CR, what would it take to increase from 15W to 20W? Would just upgrading the toroid work?

What role does the multimeter play in this tuning video?

Fantastic mini-tuner! but a doubt: could it work to also tune with a pure receiver for SWL?..

Technically it would not provide gain, nor improve the signal to noise ratio (SNR). For receive, it could act as a band pass filter, helping to rejecting near frequency interference. Ideally your antenna would be the exact or the exact fractional length of the received signal to get best received signal and best SNR.
