These sound machines all follow the same type of hook up principles. Because I was using a high amp/voltage (12S) motor along with a non BEC ESC, i had to deviate from the instructions. I used a 6.6 Life for my receiver and a 1300mA 3S for the speakers. I only needed to solder the speaker's 3S lipo with the sound unit speaker's pwr connection. One does not have to run the ESC's main power source thru to the speakers with the HK supplied pig tail. Only the ESC's 3 wire lead is nessesary along with a steering servo lead. Power from the receiver's Life 2S battery runs the devices electronics while that 1300mA 3S lipo runs the speakers. There are no serious instructions available or given. There never is 🤨!
If anyone has trouble with this or any other sound unit, Im willing to help, if I can. They can be very kool 😉👍

Sorry chaps, but Mr Rc sound is a little better. Transducer are the way forward.

For the money this is great. Mr RC sounds just a bit better, but the price is a lot higher.

I suppose , it's what you can afford.

Or how much weight you can handle. There's also the Benedini option. The new MrRCSound ASPIRE is also nice, yet again a lot more money. For a foamie the ESS is still a good choice and the price is right.

It would be nice to compare it against my MR Rc sound in my Freewing Mosquito.

I bought the MrRC one when it first came out. It worked fine for a short period of time but just quit working one day and could never get it to work again.

I'm sorry, but you are wrong. Check my channel where I'm using the ESS-Air in a P51-D 1700mm. Sounds very nice, for the money I say it's a GREAT product.
