+Essential RC You are welcome Dom :) Hmm I kinda waiting for the HK Tundra! I've got a few camera's comming in as well.. I'm not sure if eighter of those will come in This year though :)
Hello, Could you tell me your experience when you remove the metal arms? And what you glue exactly? The outside and inside ring? Why only foam? And when you have a wooden plane then what give the best performance? thx
What I’m try to tell you. You have the fixed ring on the transducers and a inner ring. The vibration ring. So must I both rings fixed? And their a metal arms on the transducer so must I cut these?? And why I can not use wood instead of the foam for vibrations?
I think only the outer ring fixed to a surface. From memory I think fixing to wood is better but you need to experiment. I do not think you should cut the metal arms. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Hi There! Very helpful video for this product! But I have couple of questions about putting this sound system in a 78" Carbon Z T28, would you think this would be enough for the size of the plane? Can you adjust the sound to a lower or higher volume? I've been looking into MR RC Sound but this system that you have is much cheaper and in some ways is better than MR RC Sound. So I just wanted to know your thoughts. I'm making a decision on purchasing either of these two sound system. Thank your help and is very much appreciated! I look forward to your response. Cheers!
+TheBIGguyCarlito Hi Carlito...the volume of this system depends a lot on where you put the transducers. Best place is on top of the foam wing or on side of fuselage. It is loud enough to sound scale in the air but it's not deafening. Personally I think it is worth the money. I brought another that I will be putting in the new E-flite P2 biplane in next few weeks. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Hi, I have just received my ESS AIR today and I have a small problem so i'm hoping you can help. I have downloaded the software and set up a engine sound which works great. However I cant get the second sound to work which I have set up for guns. I have connected the wire to a spare channel in my receiver but when I flick the switch nothing happens. When the unit is plugged in and connected to the software everything seems fine, guns are installed and ready to use but they wont work. Can you help I would appreciate any advice. Thanks
Have you played around with the end point adjustment (EPA) for that channel? Or maybe the trim for that channel? The sound unit can take 2 setups each with an engine sound and secondary sound. You sure you got the right setup selected? EPA would be my first thing to check. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
Hi do you know if the smaller center ring needs to be attached really well to the surface, mine keeps coming lose and it makes a horrible sound, I'm thing about using some ca just to glue the smaller center ring to the surface, any suggestions?
That is the one problem with the whole setup. To make the system work properly it is that inner ring that needs to be attached and nothing else. You can't put pressure on the outside of it to push it down. Yes, use medium CA on the ring (all the way around) but also spray kicker/accelerator on the surface you intend to glue it to. Kicker much improves the chances of it gluing firmly. At least that's what I found. You should be gluing it to EPO foam...not wood or anything else. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
+Essential RC Thanks I took the transducer out of the black outside ring and did ca the transducer to the foam and it sounds good now, now the transducer looks like a smaller TT-25 one. I also cut off the 3 metal arms that hold the black ring to it.

+EJS EDDY Hey man ' this is Jimmie R & as u see the guy said no u cant do it . I think the guy just aint in to music like we are . I think if u had a small enough I pod & a small what do u call those dam thing's that u can down load music or what ever u want ? I think it would work with the rite speaker's . The only problem I can think of is that It would draw more power from the batt . ' that would mean less run time . but the more I think about it an I pod has it's own power supply . so the only down side is adding more weight to the plain & that would mean less run time . As soon as I heard of this I thought ' It would be so cool to have some JAM' S ' That is if u can hear them . Sorry bout the book . Jimmie R . Peace out man !!!!
+EJS EDDY Hey man Like ur feed back on this idea ' I have a small Gamma 370 that I could put a brushless motor in . That would take care of the wght. problem ' & I was talking to my son about this last night . He was tellin me that they don't make MCP any more ' but u can still find them . then there's the issue with room ' yhat I'm sur I could find a way to make it work ' but by the time I had all of this figured out some one else would have all reddy have done It . there fore it's there idea !! 1'me what U would call dirt poor at this time in my life . I'm on SSI DISS .. I have thought of mounting this in my E- maxx truck ' butt do I have the $ for this either ? !! HELL NO . Jimmie R . Sorry about The book " later man
That IS quite a big plane you have there sir :) Great demonstration of this sound system!
Cheers & thanks for sharing

What metal arms are you referring to? For glue on this type of foam I use UHU-POR. I do not understand your other questions. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)
How much was this? you can make one for about £4 easy enough.
Do you have a video showing how to calibrate it to your radio? I can't get mine to work correctly. Thanks
No, sorry but I don't recall it being difficult. Worked out of the box
in my module the gun in aux channel don't work. why?
