Do all of the baffles need to be aligned? Since the red and blue baffles don't index the way the black ones do, I find it very difficult to keep them aligned when reassembling, especially on the short end of the can.

I was wondering the same thing. They should've done an overhead view and elaborate more on the assembly part. There's a lot of editing in the video

@@rizzgy7486yea the aluminum baffles were misleading. At least when I bought it the description said fully ti. However if you look at the description on the actual page for the suppressor it says aluminum baffles….

Would it kill you to do a close up slow shot of the blue and explain the exact orientation of it. Can’t remember how it goes and looks like it goes opposite of the others.

  • @fusionvic
    @fusionvic Год назад +4

One major step not mentioned is that you should check to make sure all the baffles are lined up after you tighten everything. Because the two modular sections most likely won't be aligned and the blue baffles are going to be spinning as you tighten the front section and end cap. It's a tedious process that they don't really mention.

Just wanted to say thank you for this. I assumed it would come assembled correctly. I took it apart and every other baffle was the opposite direction.. that last blue one was a doozy too haha.

@@zunar_j5_933 any high temperature grease man. I am using STP High Temp right now. If I didn't have that, I would use pretty much anything high temp. Hit up an O'Reilly's or AutoZone.
In the military, we stole it from the vehicle mechanics bay and used it on our machineguns like the 249, 240, mk19 etc.

Good to know about the aluminum baffles => no ultrasonic cleaning. That should be in the instructions.
The instructions also need to cover how to install the fixed barrel adapter.

Absolutely love this company and the quality of product is insanely good. The only thing that would make them 10/10 instead of 9.5/10 in my book is being is little more informative over the phone whilst selling the product to a customer and example being someone like myself who was new to the world of suppressors who heard the term “Multi-Caliber” and instantly thought that all I had to do was buy the can and buy a threaded barrel and then boom Bob’s your uncle. What I didn’t know was that you are going to need a different piston in order to switch calibers. Had I known that at the time I was purchasing my cans I would’ve said go ahead and throw in a 1/2x28 so I can use it on my .9mm as well. This company is beyond amazing and well versed in literally everything to do with suppressors or else their name wouldn’t be Silencer Central. I feel that information such as that should be volunteered because not every customer is as knowledgeable about this product and it would never hurt to be as sharing as possible without having to be asked. I just wanted silencer central to know that from a perspective of a satisfied and returning customer. Thank You.

WTF @1:17 aluminum baffles and can NOT use an ultrasonic cleaner???!!!!
    From your website:
“Since it’s made of titanium, you can easily clean the baffles in a tumbler, ultrasonic cleaner, or by hand with a brush and your favorite solvent.”
    I didn’t pay $949 for aluminum baffles - WTF? 🔥🤬🤯😡

Tip - it’s more valuable to zoom into see the suppressor so when you are talking about mouseholes and marks so they can actually be seen on video
No offense, but it’s pointless to be zoomed so far back as it’s not much more helpful than reading the manual
Think about the objective here - how the use how to service the suppressor - it shouldn’t occupy 5% of the frame for most of the video
You had the zoom camera so perhaps it’s just a matter of re-editing and 2x zooming with a +1 EV exposure boost so the black on black lines can be seen better
