HI VLOG! I MOVED FROM THE USA TO South Africa! (this is not a joke!)
I was modeling in New York City when the opportunity presented itself. I had one month to pack my bags and move to Cape Town South Africa to pursue international modeling. I didn't have much time to think about it, I just did it. If you want to see what it's like as an international model and as someone who just moved from the United States to South Africa, then look no further lol. I'm going to continue to post content as I adjust to my new city and behind the scenes of upcoming photoshoots I have. Pro tip. In SA if someone asks if you’re coloured it’s not offensive because that’s how we refer to people who look mixed.

The term coloured doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re mixed race because that’s like saying someone who has black and white parents are coloured when they aren’t, they are strictly mixed. Coloured people are mixed with more than 2 ethnic groups, and their parents are colored too, both parents would have to be colored In order for that child to be colored, you get?

Absolutely love how my American friends have the same expressions you two did when they taste SA food. Expect the worst put it in you mouth and boom. It’s actually better then most American food

She is from New York and still impressed about Cape Town. We have to take our hats off for Cape Town. It rocks!!!!! She even told us that there is a swimming pool on top of the Table Mountain, lol.

Yeah, quite scenic indeed!!! V&A Waterfront blew my mind when I first saw it in Dec 2007 at night.
@@thandisilec835 She didn't say swimming pools. There are bodies of water and water falls that people swim in...All part of the Table Mountain National Park. If you live in CapeTown, look up Silvermine Waterfall. There are some gems that locals don't even know about. (If you do do those hikes, pls don't go alone. Safer to go as a group of friends.)

Welcome to South Africa. I had a giggle at the rice cake reaction. Hope you are going to make more vlogs. You and dad must visit a wine farm. Fairview does both cheese and wine. That is about a 35min drive from where you are - Or try the Franschoek Tram that takes you to a few wine estates. I suggest you Uber to and from the tram... if you plan to do wine tasting. There is actually so many places to visit, it is unlikely you will get through a 100th of the things to see and do. We went to a vineyard that did chocolate and wine pairing. Hope you get to travel the rest of SA. Johannesburg and surrounds has the game lodges and game farms you might enjoy. There are also areas that have great restaurants and places to visit . Mpumalanga has some stunning mountain views. I hope you stay safe and have an amazing experience.

Cape town is a vibe, you should try and explore more parts of South Africa before you head back to the US. You should either go to Johannesburg or Durban.

The "cow thing" (large silver horns in the bedroom) are likely to be antelope's horns. There are different types of antelopes: Nyala, kudu, Impala, etc. I know in the US you have the old Chevrolet Impala (it is likely that the name originates from the mentioned species of antelopes).
