The museums are awesome too. The colours on the streets are very different too, CT is vibrant, bright, and African - the cities in Europe are mostly grey…They seriously lack colour. The people vary, depending on where you are - Londoners are not really interested in making friends and there is huge diversity there so they don’t care if your accent is different - regional towns have much friendlier people, IMO . I found many of the people I encountered in Paris to be very rude and not interested in trying to understand my crappy French - they are probably sick of tourists 🙈😂 The Germans were much friendlier, I loved Berlin - people were keen to try their English and they wanted to chat, the Spanish were also great, and I think my favourite city was Prague, although Amsterdam was also awesome…I did not get to Greece, Belgium, or places like Romania, Hungary etc. As a girl, mostly traveling alone, I never felt scared (well, I did, but that was more to do with SA, not the environment I was in - my paranoia was just habit). I am a dual citizen tho (came here as a baby), so I didn’t have to worry about visas, and this was three years ago - I don’t know what changes COVID has wrought.
If you have any questions, please give a shout, I’m happy to help if I can.

Cape Town is Africa Mr Uber man please don't ever say that again☺
he got me shocked, we are in south africa for god sake and he is not south african
I guess South Africa is Europe to our brothers from other parts of the continent 😪
That part!...& recommending Nigerian food to a tourist in South Africa. Sies!😥
@@mhlave2440 A well known You Tuber from that cab driver's country said the same thing at Diani in Kenya's south coast - did a whole video on it.

Our history in the cape is a colorful one. I wish you had a cape Town local as a guide. The curries and cape malay culture is big in the BoKaap.

I just had to subscribe. You look like my son, same beard and personality too. He too wants to move to Africa ( from UK). He is 27 and has a Master's degree. You are our trailblazers. I hope your parents are proud of you.💗
Yes they are. Thank you 🙏🏾
That Uber driver is talking kak, who goes to Cape Town to eat Nigerian food😂, you are spoilt for choice when it when it comes to food in Cape Town, there are so many different restaurants to try out.
lmao yeah this guy just went to the strangest of places like not even close to what we have to offer here! no offense but use a capetonian tour guide next time. and uber guy is cray cray hahahahaha where do they even sell nigerian food here???
Foreigners call South Africans xenophobic and they are the ones who are xenophobic. How stupid can they be. How do promote nigerian food in another country. This is South Africa not nigeria. This guy was asking merely for South African food not nigeria. Foreigners are really jealous of South Africans.
Is because Nigeria got the best food in Africa...do you want some jollof rice or egusi with fufu😂😂
These immigrant cap drivers habitually give a bad impression of our country. I've yet to see even one of them in these RUclips streets who represented our country well.
Then i would recommend @Julian Albino, I love his videos!!!
@@JeffersonWMK The Uber drivers not the RUclipsrs.
@@JeffersonWMK I was referring to taxi drivers and tour guides who aren't South African. They always tell tourists the craziest and most inaccurate stories about our country.
I appreciate this Netherlands lady who did her solo travel with a map and a motorcycle across Southern Africa. From a tourist point of view she represented very well. Her positive attitude towards the country was very impressive. Or maybe because she's a geologist. Her channel is Itchy Boots
@@valenciam125 I watched her tour. The best parts of those videos was when she stayed at the Eastern Cape village close to the sea. The views there were breathtaking

What nonsense Cape Town is Europe!!! He recommends Nigerian food in South Africa. Such misrepresentation is frustrating and annoying at the same time. I don't know why these Uber drivers can't admit that they are not South African so they know nothing about our history... mxm

@@exquisitecaribbeanqueen7198 no, he’s spreading misleading info, this guy came here to learn about this place and it’s history, it’s lifestyle, it’s food and not something that is not from here. Africa is big and diverse, we can’t put it in one box.
@@exquisitecaribbeanqueen7198 We have borders not just the ones colonisers put up. There are words for them in our language.
