@@rose2164 Of course it’s halal, many people sew beautiful covers and pouches for the Quran. Crochet cover would look lovely as long as there are no images on it (cute or not!) 😊
Yessss, my grandma knits and she taught me a little but I forgot and now i want to crochet and make something for her as the first thing I make and she reads a lot of Quran so I think I am going to make this for her

I feel like you could also make another rectangle and attach it to the back so it's like a traditional book cover - if that makes any sense. This is such a cute pattern, and I've never seen a crochet book cover! It's absolutely precious!!!

It looks amazing! When i have a stich that is too tight i take the bottom of the hook end, where you have the point on the hook itself, i use that to get the hook in. So i start with my hook at the back of my work then put that tip in then i can use it to flip the hook as i slide the tip through the loop. It has worked well for me. 🙃

i originally followed the same heart granny square pattern and video but mine turned out so large that i decided to make it into a bag with one square in the center… i also used the same colors as you (white and pink) 🥹 yours is so pretty! I love the bag from your blog too!

I always saw this pattern and now I am finally going to make it! I am so excited. I just hope it works with 3mm yarn, bc that's basically all the yarn size that are in my town 😭
