Just bought one for my husband’s 96 Tacoma. Got the CP-71W single din with wireless CarPlay head unit too. I think they’ll be more than good enough for such a small cabin.
Hey, regarding the max power for this amplifier. A 25 amp fuse at 12 volts is 300 watts. Also no amp is 💯 percent efficient, some class d amps are barely 40 percent. Willing to bet it's around 150 rms
@@ericburnett8122 it has to receive an audio signal for it to turn on. Obviously if there is a remote turn on, you have to use it. Might want to actually open the manual and follow the troubleshooting steps instead of dropping a random comment under my comment about something completely irrelevant. If you want to actually get a useable response, make your own fresh comment to the creator.
@ericburnett8122 I'd say check to make sure that there is 12v where the remote comes from (blue wire) it might not be getting voltage there, which won't let it turn on. Other than that, it may be a defective product.
I've seen this multiple times on different devices. I'm not really sure why it happens. Maybe try a small drill bit to open it up a little. I have forced them on in the past
You might be getting 200 watts, probably more like 150W RMS. 600 watts being Peak, which is important with subs. It's amazing for just a quarter of a second you'll see the amps needed double the amps for power to the subwoofers. 1/4 of a second. Then drop right back down to the lower amps where it started for the subwoofers. Subs need very short timeframe peaks of power to be able to sound good. Again, amps not watts. Why subs can make your headlights dim. Hopefully you got that hum fixed. it's usually bad component, and a better ground is needed, somewhere. lol. Whenever adding amps to your car make sure to upgrade battery and engine wiring. The wire can never be too large.
Nice little sub to fit under a seat to fill in some extra bass probably be a nice addition to a stock system 🤔
I definitely think it would! It honestly suprised me!

@@islander_girLe I agree.I actually think it should sound pretty good!

That's exactly where I think it's at too! Thank you man!
My son just got one. Won’t power on. 12v is there. Any input?

You can tell how bad the alternator noise came through. Can you turn the leds off?
Yeah, it was pretty bad. And unfortunately, you can not turn off the LED's
@@Blowncapacitor84u can turn them off just hold down the led button down, i thought you couldn’t until i did in mine
@@ossify_yt7859 Ohh nice!!! Thank you!
Please tell me what RCA cable that is I have a white one that came with it and it doesn't fit I've tried other RCA wires but none fit it at all lol

About 300 watt RMS
25 x 13.8 = 345 watt
