You got to trust diva if your running her plus you had extenders to keep pushing. We live and die by our hand so try to set up follow up or keep some cards in hand.
I think you haven’t had the time to adapt your play-style to the deck yet. It’s your 3rd Match with it so it’s 100% normal. You are trying too hard to make a higher ceiling board but that’s not what the deck is aiming to do. This is not a glass canon build. You can save ressources for turn 2 / 3. You used all 5 cards in your hand which should almost never happen especially if your opponent doesn’t hand trap you. You decided to not commit your normal summon on Diva. Which is a fine decision to make but you wasted her as a resource. Her normal summon did not accomplish much since you were already finishing your combo. You don’t care about making abyssgaios, Raiho already takes care of Monster Effects. If you kept Diva in hand to wait for a simplified game state to normal her you would have won. That’s exactly what happened when you went into battle phase and attacked his xyz he droplet and then negated Lancea gy eff. He had nothing at that point. Normal Diva and pop off. (He shouldn’t even had the droplet since he needed to discard off of Dugares’s effect which would have changed a lot of things but it just shows how much Lancea forces interaction by himself)
Yes your 100% here! I think the best things ive learned about these matches is when to play for damage and when to play for defense. This is common in slay the spire which i play regularly, but have a hard time translating to yugioh. I have always laid my hand on the field. So going through these matches, playing a different play style really helped me see the advantages between slowing down my play. I hope I havent misrepresented ur list to much. I try to comment where I see my mistakes. This was honestly a really beneficial experience for me. I really appreciate this input as well!
@ Apparently he couldn’t even go to f0 too ! You 100% had that game with Lancea. It sucks that your opponent didn’t respect his effects and card requirements properly.
Honestly, if the list gave you a new perspective on how to play the archetype as a whole then it’s a huge win ! Can’t wait to see Match 4 and 5. I would love a little recap video on your final thoughts on the deck. What you would cut / add, liked / disliked about the list !
RIP dragoons search at 7:28 😭

Sometimes it's like that, you can't just win everytime. Maybe you could do some different play in game 1, but 2 and 3 wouldn't have changed
Yup, there was some variance for sure, but also missed opportunity. This was my match to win
13:44 opponents board was mad cancer , glad to see people really know how to have fun these days 😂 👎.
he cant do that f0 line because degares is a number monster
Oh snap! Good to note! Thanks you
